10 A Shimmering Hope

R2-D2 whines as Obi-Wan approaches, "Master." she mutter noticing his saddened shoulders and small holes on his clothing and black smudges.

"We need to hurry. I'll pilot Padme's ship. Just follow." he sounds distant.

A burden was taken care of but was not let go. Naona nods and quickly hops into her ship and follows Obi-Wan to the Polis Massa Base. Bright white lights come to view over the craters on a large asteroid in the asteroid field.

"Oh thank you. I'll be needing rest." she smirks and thinks happily of Padme getting help.

Something in the back of head warns of her death. The force around Padme seem distant and saddened. Naona looks toward them as they rush away; she only memorizes Obi-Wan's back. A droid mutters something, but Naona's concentration blanks everything out. She follows the droid to a room and soon falls asleep.

A sudden shock awakens Naona feeling a life force leave with a feeling of hope, a hope that there is good still left in this world. She stand abruptly and gathers her things and smears off black soot, from the Mustafar planet, from her face over a sink. A familiar voice mentions the children need to be taken some place safe to grow. Luke and Leia, the beautiful children of a complicated love. Naona takes a glimpse of them one in Obi-Wan's arms and one in Senator Organa's arms. They were twins, peacefully sleeping after a long cry and delivery. Yoda stares saddened at Padme on a table. Naona covers her face and begins to weep. So much death in just a few days. How is there any hope? Perhaps it is within those children. They soon gather everything and they head to Senator Organa's ship, Naona to hers, and head to Naboo to the city of Theed to discuss the children's well being around a table in the Senator's ship as Padme's body is transferred.

"Pregnant, she must still appear. Hidden, safe, the children must be kept." Yoda states.

"We must take them somewhere the Sith will not sense their presence." Obi-wan offers.

"Split up, they should be." Yoda agrees.

"My wife and I will take the girl. We've always talked of adopting a baby girl. She will be loved with us." Bail Organa says with happiness.

"And what of the boy?" Obi-Wan turns away from Organa.

"To Tatooine. To his family, send him." Yoda says.

"I will take the child and watch over him. Master Yoda, do you think Anakin's twins will be able to defeat Darth Sidious?" Obi-Wan asks with a hint of hope in his voice. Naona stands at the door way crossed arms and leaning against the edge.

"Strong the Force runs, in the Skywalker line. Hope, we can . . . Done, it is. Until the time is right, disappear we will." Yoda states and glances to Naona. The Senator leaves the room.

Naona steps out of the way and looks to him, "Senator, I want to thank you for sending me to my Jedi life...I am grateful for you to keep my sister and I from an orphan life." The Senator looks confused but notices Naona's grey eyes the ones which smiled with glee that day and happily became a Jedi because of him.

"You are her...Your sister is a warrior like you. She shows promise, strange you where blessed with the force. None the matter thank you for everything you have done. Hope is all we have now." Organa states and pats her left shoulder with his right hand and leaves.

Naona turns back with attention to the last Jedi Masters. "Master Kenobi, wait a moment. In your solitude on Tatooine, training I have for you." Yoda catches Obi-Wan's attention.

"Training??" Obi-Wan asks a bit confused.

"An old friend has learned the path to immortality." Yoda smiles as if guessing the reaction to Obi-Wan.

"Who?" he asks him.

"One who has returned from the netherworld of the Force to train me . . . your old Master, Qui-Gon Jinn." Yoda states.

"Qui-Gon? But, how could he accomplish this?" he sounds astonished.

"The secret of the Ancient Order of the Whills, he studied. How to commune with him. I will teach you." Yoda informs.

"I will be able to talk with him?"

"How to join the Force, he will train you. Your consciousness you will retain, when one with the Force. Even your physical self, perhaps."

"Is it quite alright after we go to Tatooine to deliver Luke I could take Master Kenobi to my home planet. I need to revisit where I lived. I hardly remember my parents and I need some information." Naona adds in and patiently waits an answer from Yoda.

"Naona needs you Obi-Wan, keep secret you shall." Yoda informs them and they head off.

Naona smiles at Obi-Wan and uncrosses her arms and pushes off the wall and heads to her ship calmly and they soon head out.

At one point she boards her ship in route to Alderaan and decides to go to Tatooine with Obi-Wan and the baby Luke. As they land Naona waits in her ship. She shifts in her seat looking over her dash in curiosity when she sees a young woman approach Obi-Wan. She softly takes the baby boy knowing exactly who he is and smiles with the feeling of treasuring him forever. She then walks to the side of a man and smiles happily and they look at the peaceful sunset on the ancient dessert planet. Obi-Wan stands by them with crossed arms.
