17 The hunt.

After shifting for the first time in a few years I have shifted every night and gone for a run. Some times Xander goes with me other times he is busy with the Pack. Since he spoke to Draco they have a new training schedule I train the young wolves every Saturday most of them are in school so it is the only day they really have available.

Now we are getting ready for our pack hunt. This will be the final step in Xander and I becoming the Alpha and Luna. My father will also be here next week after his pack hunt. All packs tend to have a hunt around the same time and for us it is tonight.

"You smell so good." Xander says pulling me into his arms. I didn't realize he had woken up.

"Sorry I didn't stay up for you, I wore myself out with the kids yesterday." I say as I nip at his neck.

"I should not have been out so late with Draco and Kostas." Xander says as he pulls me on top of him. We both sleep naked so his hard tip is right against my opening.

"It's not nice of you to keep your soon to be wife wet and waiting all night." I say as I grab him and put him inside me. He just arches into me and moans suddenly unable to speak.

"I am sorry let me make it up to you." He says as he grabs my hair and pulls me off of him. He flips me on to my hands and knees and enters me hard. I cry out in pleasure as he fills me full. One thing is for certain I am made for him.

He continues to hold onto my hair as he pounds in and out of me. When I don't come as fast as he wants he reaches down and grabs my nipple and starts rolling it between his thumb and fingers. He then lets go of my hair and starts to rub my clit. I quickly come and he flips me back over so I can look at him. His eyes are purple as he slides back into me. He starts to kiss me as he still moves in and out at a quick pace. He moves down and sucks my hard nipple into his mouth. The sensation is to much for me so I grab him by the hair and bring his mouth back to mine. "Fill me full Xander, I want to feel you pulse inside me" I whisper against his lips. He picks up his pace and we both come at the same time.

"You drive me nuts." He says laying more kisses agains my jaw.

"No, I just made you bust a nut on my command." I say as I bite his ear lobe. He starts laughing so hard I almost come again at the feeling of him still moving inside me.

"I think it is you who gets off when I tell you too." He says as he rolls off of me.

"That is true." I say as I get up to go to the bathroom and clean up.

"I will make breakfast then I have to go make sure we have enough to hunt." He says as he kisses me and puts on a T-shirt and shorts.

By the time I am out of the shower and dressed Xander already had bacon and eggs on the table ready to eat. we eat in silence. it's like this often we can just be with each other and it's not awkward.

After we eat I clean the kitchen and dishes. Xander leaves to make sure we have enough to hunt. I choose to sit and read for a bit. just as I finish the book Xander comes back in. He smiles and sits down next to me. "I love you." he says suddenly "I love you too." I respond as I lean over and kiss him. I then rest my head on his chest. He runs his hands through my hair. I fall asleep on his chest.

When I wake up it's almost dark. "We need to go." Xander says calmly. "Why didn't you wake me?" I ask. "Tell me when you sellp without me with you how bad are the nightmares?" I sit up and look at him. I hate that he knows. "Bad." is all I say as I get up and walk to the bathroom. Xander fallows me but waits outside the door. "You can tell me Nyx, I'm here." he says. I can't help but feel he would hate me if he knew the things I had done.

I walk out of the bathroom and smile at him. "I'm fine, let's go." I say trying to hide my nerves. He lets it go, for now and fallows me out of the house. We make our way to the forest. when we get there most of the pack has already arrived. Kostas and Draco are waiting.

"Alpha, Luna." they both greet. Xander and I nod at them both. Soon everyone is there. I can't help but open the pack bond so I can feel what they are feeling. All I can feel is Joy. they are glad to have us here.

Kostas goes over the basic rules of the hunt. He then turns to Xander and I, " Alpha, Luna will you please lead us in this hunt." he says firmly. Xander and I quickly shift and the rest of the pack does the same. Xander and I take off through the forest.

I slow down when I catch the scent of a deer. It's custom that the Luna gets the first kill. It's so the pack knows she can care for them. I see the deer and I crouch low to the ground. It's eating and pays me no mind. I leap suddenly from 50 feet behind it. I grab the deer by the neck and dig my claws in. it struggles some but with how large my wolf is I'm too heavy and he falls to the ground. He fights some more but soon gives up when I sever her spine with my jaws.

The young wolves come forward and start eating what I have killed. Xander looks proud and then takes off to kill his own deer.

Six hours later the entire pack is full and happy. It will be daylight soon so we all head back home. At the edge of the forest Xander and I shift back and get dressed. The walk home is quiet we just hold each others hand.

Once we get inside Xander picks me up bridal style and walks to our bathroom. He turns the shower on and steps in. "Can't I take my clothes off first?" I ask. He just shakes his head no. He sits me down and starts to take my shirt and shorts off. once we are both naked he sits down in the floor of the shower and pulls me into his lap.

"I never wanted a pack, now I'm an Alpha." he says into my shoulder. "Are you happy?" I ask him suddenly worried by his change. "Extremely. I am not used too it." he says. I nod in understanding.

After an hour we both was ourselves and dry off. we crawl into bed. Xander lays his head on my chest and in a matter of seconds he is asleep. I really hope I can make him happy. I know I made him proud tonight I saw that in his eyes. I just hope when he finds out my true past he will still be proud.

Then again he is way older than I am. He has probably done way worse than I have. Is my last thought before falling asleep my self.
