Being cut from the team!?

...

...

...

WORRIED?!

Was his manager not happy with him? Was he being loaned out to a weaker team?

...

Or worse, was he being sold!?

Thoughts started to jumble in Julian's mind as he could only stare at his manager with a wide-open mouth, wider than the great wall of China, and a face stricken with so much grief that it would make depression appear as happiness.

"Coach, wha...wha...why? I haven't done anything wrong whilst my time at the club and honestly, I've demonstrated more passion and determination than any of my teammates have in the last few games, no offense to them" Julian stuttered as he looked at the deep gaze of Ferguson.

*SIGH*

"Julian, I've already stated before that you are not in the wrong, if anything, you've always been in the right during your very short time at the club, What I'm interested in talking about is your mental health and how you're coping" Ferguson stated as he shifted back to his more serious tone.

"What do you mean?" Julian asked, more confused than he had ever previously been in his life, scratch that, his two lives.

Just what was going on?

"Julian, you are only 16 yet not only are you on one of the biggest sports teams in the world at such a young age but a wonderkid who is showcasing himself on and off the pitch whether that be the media or the game"

"I...I...I" Julian could only stutter as he looked back at Ferguson, shocked but also appreciative and grateful about his concern.

His coach would be normally right. A 16-year-old youngster, not much older than kids at school, has exploded onto the football scene and spread his name around the world in such a fast manner and with such fast growth. It wouldn't be unlikely that he would let the fame get into his head and become arrogant, conceited, and narcissistic which could lead to a massive detriment to the team. After all, there were already enough personalities in the team; an additional one would not improve the situation at all.

However, Julian was different, he had lived two separate lives and shared a depth of knowledge far greater than the average human, let alone the average teenager.

And whilst, yes, it is true that he has been acting quite immature and eager ever since he had returned to his past, who wouldn't?

It wasn't every day you were able to live your childhood again with your previously dead parents; after all, this was Julian's biggest wish; even bigger than playing football and even marrying Jennifer.

"Coach, you should not worry about me, I'll be fine! Whilst it does not seem that I'm not mature enough to face the criticism, slander, and fame that will come my way as I age, I promise to you now, that I will never let it affect me, my game, my teammates, my parents or anyone for that matter." Julian stated, causing Ferguson to become wide-eyed as he now started to feel as if Julian was much more mature than he let on, which was obviously a positive.

Unfortunately, this illusion was broken straight after.

"In fact, I pinky promise you!"

"You really are an idiot, aren't you"

Do not worry about all the non-football, I plan, for the rest of the chapters to be more football-based!
