11 Chapter 11 - I’m so sleepy....

Things have been hectic, I'm tired. Thanks to the souls acting like elixirs, I'm fine, and even refreshed. Sadly, I still can't stop myself from being mentally tired, I need sleep, and rest. I'm just dilly dallying with whatever goal I can get, and I am going nowhere. Why am I even getting stronger?

Regardless, I hit the nest, and now the hornets are coming for me. I imagine a barrier, and bury myself in rubble next to a makeshift vent. All the while I am covered by vehicle covers, I was surprised when I saw the vehicles. There's no wheels, and looks pretty neat, sadly I don't have the keys for it, as the thugs aren't able to hack them. Their systems are way to strong, and only higher level people can afford them.

So them scrapping for parts would only get them in trouble with their bosses who work for the people who own those vehicles. So stealing their coverings about all I can do, and at least they're warm. It's time for me to sleep, let's dream of wealth, and women.

...once I wake up, it's still sunset, and boring. Voice never came back, and it's time to accept he's gone. I can't help but sigh at the situation, regardless, that's all I can do.

I'm close to the new district, and I hear explosions, seems the turf wars have been getting worse, luckily I didn't get involved this time. I start to skulk around, hiding on top of the buildings, using the chance to practice my surveillance skills. It's hard, but with practice I'm sure I can reach a good level.

The day has gone by, I can't help but feel impatient, but continue to wait.

Because of the wars they're having, the cities police have been cracking down as the situation likely embarrassed their chief. They're not even arresting people, it's shoot to kill, so the situations likely to get worse.

After a while of seeing the shootings between all three forces, I see a person walking towards them. He raises his arm, and a light shines from his bracelet. After which, I take cover, as a cold wind immediately engulfs the area. I look over my cover, and see all three forces suffering casualties.

The man begins to leave, as the police force take the rest in for questioning. While some of the goons who escaped stop to heal their own. As the man with power leaves, I haphazardly send a rock through space into his brain. It appears between the skull, and causes severe damage, I take his soul, and the forces in question watch as the mans body falls to the ground.

I run away again, as the firefight resumes, and once I'm safe, I do the same as before, and take what I can from the soul. Thinking I got his power, I try to use it, but sadly I don't know how to use it. Cause even though I take their essence, not everything was understood.

Man, I'm sleepy again, I really need to rest. It takes a while, but eventually I find another place to hide, and once I made sure I'm secure I go to sleep. I'm so sleepy....
