Gold POV

It was a fine Saturday morning when Chris immediately sent me to his studio. Even though, It is not the time we actually taping the movie. However, he informs me that it is something to be necessary. So, I agree.

I really don't know why he called me first instead of my manager, but I have no choice because he also begged me last night. So, as a good friend, I agreed. Although he also said that he will increase my salary by 5%, that's why he is still kinder than me.

While I'm quietly traveling by Chris' driver, I just thought of taking my script from my bag and decided to read the next scene that we will do later. To tell you the truth, sometimes I'm having a hard time with my role in this story. Because the scene that I will handle as a character is too dramatic. Well, in just my opinion. Maybe because I have never experienced this in my whole life, that I just only discovered it in my surroundings.

But, it is still such a good thing that even if people just influence me in this matter, I can always do it well and be given more color in acting.

According to the script, this is when Nomi finds out that Jake is carrying a severe illness, which causes her to feel paralyzed, and out of the blue, the memories appear like a trailer to her mind when she recalls her ex-boyfriend's past actions.

"Hmm, another cliché scenario but in the opposite way."

 I uttered, maybe because I already watched this scenario in many movies, but now I will be counted on its performer. But even so, I still can't deny that my emotions are also carried away by every dialogue I read as if I was really in Nomi's situation.

Nomi: Why? Why did you hide it from me?

Jake: Because there is no other way to be with you more, Gold.

Nomi: So you choose me to hate you more than to be with you?

Jake:...[speechless]....

Nomi: But, what about the other day? You begged me, Jake.

Jake: Forget It...

Nomi: You also said that you love me; you try to stop me, right?

Jake: I said forget it. [Slowly trigger]

It seems like Jake is trying to hold back his emotion, and even though Nomi feels It, she still decided to tell everything she wanted to say to that man.

Nomi: You try to chase me, you even kneel in front—

Jake: And so what! I did that because I never thought it would be more painful for you to disappear than for me to die!

Jake burst out entirely in front of her, which she's obviously surprised, besides discovering his condition. After all, Jake is known on his character as a shy and timid person who looks like a bad guy but deep inside, he has a gentle and fragile heart.

Therefore, maybe they are right when they say that God is swift to bring good people back into heaven. But oh well, I also didn't believe in such a thing, I just really heard it, but it doesn't mean that I will fall for it only because I mention those words. But, back to the scenario.

Nomi:...

Jake: You already leave me right, then, why are you still here?

Nomi:...

Jake: hahaha o-oh right, y-you might be pity on me right now. b-because this is really my big karma for making you stupid.

Nomi didn't even say anything, and he concluded right away? Then here's the question, isn't it annoying that sometimes, when the characters in the movie become stupid even though they were given a beautiful background in the beginning? Seriously, does the word 'genius' really suits them? If in a simple problem they can't use their common sense properly? Well, anyway, to answer that, it is really intended to do such kind of a script, because it can help them to add ratings. Since people love to rants and making fun of things like memes on social media.

Nomi: yeah, you're right; you are stupid.

Then this time, Nomi slapped Jake on his cheeks without his knowing.

"poor guy."

I said, but instead of getting mad with what Nomi did to him, he even felt hurt when he saw the tears in her eyes.

Hmm, this might be effective. When you want to hurt the person you love physically because they are so annoying or picky, yet at the same time, you don't want him to be angry with you? Try these moves, and maybe he will also accept that he's the wrong one, even though you're the one who started the fight.

Nomi: y-you are really an idiot; I didn't love you just because I want to be with you for life.

Huh? what did she pertaining here? Did he love Jake just for a moment?

Jake: N-nom—

Nomi: So what are you scared of! To hurt me without you? Do you even know how much pain and heaviness I feel now to give you what you want!?

Why? are you not afraid, Nomi? Maybe because a lot of people are waiting for her to be single, that's why. I silly uttered to myself that caused me to suddenly smile foolishly.

Jake: N-nom—

Nomi: do you really think I'm such a weak? So that I can end our relationship like nothing!? Jake! You're the only one who doesn't feel well! You're the only one who wants this decision!

Jake:...

Nomi: but because I love you so much, I fulfilled your wish, and that is to break—

And they kiss.

"Seriously?"

I frowned until I thought of flipping the paper I was holding because they might be a lost sentence, but unfortunately, nothing. I guess that is for another move, then? When she doesn't let you talk, so you shut her up too.

But wait, as a reader of the script, I don't even understand what Nomi is pertaining to because, for me, it seems like she doesn't mind if Jake's gonna die or not? But I think from Jakes' perspective, it encourages him when Nomi doesn't want to lose his side.

That in fact, for me, Nomi did not even say that she would make a way to get rid of his pain just to get better or to be with him for a long time. Because the case that happened is, they seemed to be agreed on their fate for each other. So another go with the flows again, even though they can change it on their own.

Nomi didn't finish what she was going to say because Jake immediately claim her lips until she liked it too and even make it longer just to cherish their love. And after that, they are now staring at each other.

Jake: please, come back to me.

Nomi: I will.

Jake: you're the only one, Nomi. We're the only ones who meant for each other.

Nomi: Yes, we're really mean—

"Ma'am we're here."

But, before I could finish the last dialogue with Nomi. The driver politely disturbs my reading which causes me to turn him followed by around us. Geez, what's wrong with this script? At first, it seems realistic, but in the end, it was like it was mixed with fantasy.

They didn't even make it practical to prove the skills of a character, especially for a lawyer and a doctor. Still, no one ever tells their conversation that they will do something and will not give up on that happening; I guess they really don't want to waste their time on such perception because they trust the beliefs.

I am not angry with It; I just don't really appreciate it. Because, for me, I'm an empirical woman. If I want to achieve something, I will not leave it to others, even if it's people or surroundings. Well, no one cares anyway.

"Kyaaah! Gold! Gold! Can I get your autograph!"

"Gold!! Be mine please!!"

"Oh my gosh, Gold my Goddess!!"

A few shouts greeted me as I finally got out of the car and walked into the building. I just gave them a friendly smile and a wave, which they kept even more.

And even though I was here inside, I could still hear their shout in my name. This situation is not new to me because, in fact, they really know my schedule every day. And I don't know how that happens, but I also don't want to waste my time just for that, because no matter what, they are also one of the reasons I am in this position right now.

I finally got to Chris's office, and it seemed like he wasn't the only one here because I just didn't know who was with him. But then my suspicions didn't last long when Chris saw me approaching them, and that's a reason to interrupt their conversation as well.

"Oh, finally she's here. Good morning Gold."

"Good morning too Chris, why are you sending me here so early?"

My opening when I reach beside him while I giving it a greeting kiss on his cheek before I gaze at my wristwatch to check how many minutes we traveled.

'hmmm, I was picked up at the condo at 6 am and we got here at 6:46 am, not bad. I'm not late either.'

"Before that, let's take a sit first and meet our visitor, Russy."

Chris happily responded that makes him grabbed my attention, and suddenly I gently looked at the person in front of us yet at the same time I slowly raised my eyebrow, her!?
