Tonight I'm going to meet a client. So, after dinner, I went to my room and took my costumes and snuck out by my west window and walked through the dark. After so many years of practice, I can do anything in the dark. So, it wasn't a problem.

I learned Kung Fu secretly from a master, the same master who taught me about poisons. Because girls don't learn Kung Fu, they learn sewing, embroidery, and other domestic stuff. Well, I learned both.

As a lady, I didn't have many friends. But my disguise as a guy got me a lot of friends, true friends. I sometimes took disguise in the daytime too, to meet with my friends. In my spy business, I'm known as "The man behind the curtain". Some of my ground rules are, I never sell any of my client's information (those that he revealed to me for the job he requested) to other customers and never reveal any of my identity.

And I have no plans to marry someone yet. Maybe if I ever fall for someone, I'll consider it. This is very unlikely because I haven't met a single man who could hold my interest for a little while nor I got a crush on someone! Maybe I'll be single forever rather than marry and live a boring life.

I think my parents won't force a marriage on me but it's more than hard to refuse their requests because they hardly ask anything from me. If the situation turns out like that I'll have to leave the house. I feel guilty already!

The client who comes to me always has to deliver a letter to my office asking for an appointment and I do some necessary background checks on them and then settle the date and time and send them a reply letter. Then we meet.

Tonight as usual I came an hour before the scheduled time to check everything including the area and set up the room for the meeting.

Right on time, my client entered the room. He was from the King, King's most trustful servant. (I always do some random digging about the palace for information so I recognized him) The King sent his request by him.

Well, in short, the King's request was to spy on the crown prince to find if he has any secret lover!

Oh, royalty and their craziness! What? They shouldn't feel offended! At the age of the prince, having a lover is very normal. But spying him for it and in order of his father is really…. not normal! Whatever, I don't care. I got a job and a huge amount of money.

This is the first time I'll be working to find out about someone's love affair!

Now I have to think about how to get inside the 'Violet Mansion'. Only then I will be in reach of the crown prince. But being so close to any royalty creeps me out. They can only bring troubles…

But as I already accepted the request, I must do the job properly.

I came back home before sunrise and took a quick nap. In the morning, I went out for a walk with my maid Min Ha. She is a great friend. Maybe she even knows a little about me doing something in secret. But she is very loyal to me and trusts me a little too much and loves me that she never asks anything.

I went around the mansion, looking for some way to enter. And I found it!

They were recruiting some part-timers for some kitchen work because they are having some royal guests and they are short in servants. Huh?! They have so many servants, still, they are short in work?!

Well, it's good luck for me. Now I can simply go there disguised as a servant.

I went home contented with Min Ha and asked my parents if I could go to my best friend's house to have fun for a couple of days as it was a bit far from here. They don't know anything about my friends. So, at noon, I'm dressed up as a guy and standing in front of 'Violet mansion'.

There are a lot of people who came here for work. I have to win over them. Because they only take ten people to work.

Most of them are women who are taking interviews of all people. When my turn came, they asked me what a guy was doing here for kitchen work, I said, "I can do any works you will give me. Please, I'll do anything but I need this job or I'll starve."

They seemed moved by my acting like a poor peasant. They took me to work and gave me the job of serving instead of dish-washing or other kitchen works. Well, it's even better. I will be able to move around in the mansion instead of getting stuck in the kitchen. I got a staying place in the servants' chamber. I guess they took pity on me.

But no, it's because I have to work all day, all night here!!!

And I think my limbs are gonna fall off soon. I have to carry heavy dishes and take them to different buildings which are in great distances!

Now I'm taking breakfast to his majesty's(The crown prince) chamber. As I was 10 feet away from the door, I heard His majesty talking with Master Han(Kang Ji Han).

I have a great hearing ability and I wanted to know what they were talking about. But they already sensed someone coming. So, I can't stop and eavesdrop, they'll surely know it. Now, I can only go inside, and then I have to come again carefully later without letting them know. I don't pause and walk to the door and ask permission to enter. The guard at the door went inside and came out and let me in after his highness's permission.
