My name is Kara Zor-El. 24 years ago my planet, Krypton, was in serious peril. My cousin, Kal-El, was sent to a planet called Earth for his own safety and protection. You may know his story.

The story you don't know is that I was sent to protect him.

Things didn't exactly go according to my mother's plan. Krypton's destruction sent a shock wave that knocked my pod off course and into the Phantom Zone. A region in space where time doesn't pass.

I slept there for 24 years until somehow I got here. When I arrived, I was still a 13-year-old girl. But in that same time my cousin Kal-El had grown up and revealed himself to your world as Superman.

The most powerful man in the universe. My cousin wanted me to have the same safe human-type childhood he did. So he placed me with my adoptive family, the Danvers.

My cousin, he didn't need my protection. I didn't have a mission anymore. so I just lived a normal, ish teenage and adult life.

I decided the best thing I could do is fit in. After all, Earth didn't need another hero.

Kara on the phone" I need two tickets in the orchestra section for Wicked. No, not for Miss Grant. Her mother wants to see it. Yes, again. Sure, I'll hold."

Kara "Charlie? I'm calling about the Correspondents Dinner, I need to make sure Miss Grant doesn't end up next to Bill O'Reilly again."

I work at Catco Worldwide Media. An online and print empire built by my boss, Cat Grant. The most powerful woman in National City. At least, for the next few days.

Cat" Ugh, this elevator is a human petri-dish. It's like standing up in coach. "

Winn" How do you do that?"

kara" Good morning, Miss Grant."

Cat" The only reason I bought this building was because it had a private elevator. That way, I don't have to get soaked in cheap cologne every morning, getting to my office. Find out who used it, have them reprimanded, or bathed, I don't care which."

30 minutes later I was sorting out files for miss grant until it happened. The pa system turned on and a man's voice spoke after it.

Mystery man" Good morning fellow catco workers. Miss grant thank's you all for your hard work and dedication over the years so. So because today is a special day as one of the shareholders everyone will be getting a 1000 dollar bonus at the end of the month. And listen to a song written by a close family friend."

I really couldn't believe what I had just heard. I mean, are we thinking about the same person here. Miss Grant isn't so generous to give this type of bonus or money away so this is probably a prank.

Winn "I've located were the pa system is being controlled from.do you want me to shut it down" The reply Winn got didn't just shock me but also everyone close enough to hear.

Cat grant" No need as the song will end soon. And he will be coming straight after. Kara, make a coffee and a hot chocolate with cream on top and I want it in 5 minutes."

kara "On it miss grant." I wonder who it is, and why would miss grant not flip over this sort of stunt, nor deny anything the supposed shareholder said.

45 minutes later I'm now on my desk doing work miss cat ordered while from time to time peeking in her office listening on in on miss grants and this Kai Allen ive never heard or seen conversation.

Kai" Hahaha damn you should have seen there faces, bet they never saw the infamous cat grant lose her cool before. So how has it been any way this past year, how's your mother."

Cat" Your laughing now but your the guy that's going to pay for all the money I've lost plus damage."

kai" Alright how much do I own you." kai asks not even bothering on how much he might have to pay."

Cat grant" let's see, with the 1000 dollar bonus for plus 1070 plus employees that adds up to one million and seventy thousand. Not to mention illegally entering the building and using facilities and the pa system without permission equates to seven hundred thousand dollars and finally stopping my employes and myself the CEO from doing her work is an extra five million dollars totalling your debt to six million and seven hundred and seventy thousand dollars.

kai" Hahahahah "this time Kais laugh was a bit stifled." Isn't that a bit much I was only greeting you after a long year of separation? Could you lower it just a bit aunt grant."

Cat grant " Calling me aunty has risen it to seven million. Wanna try anything else, Allen."

kai" There really is no winning with you is there. so do you want it by check or bank."

Cat grant " Check I'll cash it in later. So any particular reason why you bothered me while I'm at work."

Kai " No particular reason, just wanted to stop by say hi as I'll be in the city for a while." As the to were talking jack turns his head and makes eye contact with kara who turns around quickly after being spotted.

Kai" Who's that the blond girl that sits just outside your office."

Cat grant" kara, she's an intern and now my personal assistant. You would know this if you went to any of the bordmetings."

Kai" Mhh, you definitely know how to Pick them, aunt. Nice natural blond and brunet hair. And those Beautiful navy blue eyes you just want to look into forever. The way that her hips sashayed as she walked. Not including the way she dresses. Tho abit nerdy doesn't take away any of the appeals she has."

Cat grant" kai If I didn't know any better I'd think you actually had a crush on my assistant. But that's impossible knowing you a 24-year-old virgin who hasn't even given a second glance at women who tried to seduce you. Heck, you wouldn't even call back all the girls I blind dated you with."

kai" True to all those things you just said. But I don't know, its just something about this girl when I saw her it felt like my heart skipped a beat."

kai 'Or maybe that was just my heart stopping as 100 degrees of hot coffe was flying stright to my face.'

Kai" As weird as it may seem, there was something that was telling me this girl was special mhh, that's it. The way to describe this feeling would probably be when I saw her i felt she was out of this world."

And As he said those words no one noticed but him, kara flinch for a breath second Before then going back to work with a slight blush on her face.

Cat grant" Since your interested do me a favour and ask my assistant if she can take you to the security block where there should be a few sets of spare clothes and showers. If you stay any longer I won't be able to work while you smelling like hot chocolate."

Kai" And whose fault is that."

Cat grant" Yours now hurry up before I throw you out the building."

kai" Yeye I'm going." kai said in an exasperated tone.
