The Library

You shield your eyes from the blinding light and step into the room. When you try uncovering them but the light inside is a way to bright but you decide to bear with it until your eyes adjust.

When your eyes fully adjust you see a library full of books, but they are different than the ones you see at school. They are thin and probably only have a few dozen pages if that.

"What a library, why did you show me this?"

Your dad lets at a disappointed sigh and says,

" I guess that lazy bastard didn't teach you about this either."

"These are books teach you different techniques on how to utilize your flames. It shows you different styles and techniques though some have their drawback, Like this one."

He picks up probably the biggest book on the nearest shelf.

"This book teaches you how to use your flames to raise your opponent's body temperature, It is mostly useless against other flame elementals about two levels above you but are super effective to any ice mages or any flame Elementalist who's level is lower than yours."

You look at him with a puzzled expression

"What do you mean levels?

Your fathers immediately start to laugh to himself.

"What Terry didn't even teach you something so essential!"

He lets out a long groan then looks over at you he then grabs a piece of paper and starts writing after a few minutes he turns around and hands you the paper saying.

"Ok Liz try to remember all this sweetie."

The paper reads-

L͟e͟v͟e͟l͟ 1- You have just unlocked your element or ability and you cant use it at will.

L͟e͟v͟e͟l͟ 2-You can fully utilize your flame at will but don't know and skills -where you are.

L͟e͟v͟e͟l͟ 3-4

You can now use low-level skills to train and now have a mana level of under 150.

L͟e͟v͟e͟l͟ 5-7

Your skills are nearly mastered and your mana level is 150 or over.

L͟e͟v͟e͟l͟ 8-9

Your skills are now mastered and your mana level is under 200 but you haven't completely mastered your flames.

L͟e͟v͟e͟l͟ 10-20

You have mastered all your skills as well as your flame and your mana level is over 200.

Note- every 10 levels your flames will evolve but most people get stuck and can't evolve at level 10 due to a bad choice in skills or poor training methods and have to get to their max (which is 20) for a second chance or their stuck and have to go to a specialist to get their mana drained so they can start again. (though this method is extremely expensive)

ps. Every evolution doesn't have to be a new color it is usually a small change or increases in your flames strength it's very rare that your flame completely evolves.

When your done reading it you fold it neatly and puts it in your robe pocket.

"So dad whats after your flame evolves."

He thinks for a moment and shakes his head

"Sorry can't tell you, you'll have to find out when you get there it's a sect rule?"

Your enthusiastic smile fades as you hear this, You can't say you're not disappointed by this reply but you guess if its a sect secret you'll find out sooner or later you guess.

"Hey don't be so disappointed hun, how about I teach you a trick to find the perfect book. First, you put a little flame on the tip of your finger you put a little mana in and blow it if you put enough mana into it the flame should fly towards the book most compatible with its wielder it really is a strange occurrence makes you think the flame is alive. "

He chuckles to himself "Ignore me go find your book sweetpea ill be here"

You summon a flame on the tip of your finger put a little mana into it and blow, The flame then flies at a tremendous speed and cuts the corner.

You eagerly chase it ready to find your first skill.
