An Unwanted Trip

The first few days flew by in a flash and you still haven't made any progress. You have meditated for hours at a time only getting up to eat, sleep, use the bathroom and shower. You used the same method to activate your flames that Noah showed you and nothing has worked you feel your mana reserves growing but your flames aren't reacting there is nothing but smoke.

You were at your wit's end when you remembered back to what Noah said, desperate you decide to take his offer. You threw some clothes on and headed out the door towards Noah's house.

You walk down the dirt path until you get to this big white house with a brown and silver door and glass windows in the shape of diamonds you could see gold trim around the wood on the outside that blends beautify with the gold.

You take a deep breath as you knock on the door, but before you even have a chance to knock the door swings open and you are greeted by Noah's mother who hugs you so tight that you can barely breathe.

"Oh my gosh Lizzy I missed you so much Noah said you were coming over but I didn't think it was true," she says as she puts you down. "So, Liz, your gonna be 11 soon right?"

"Yeah I'll be 11 in September," you say in a slightly prideful tone, "Have you ever thought about getting married?" she asks "Umm, No not really I am way too young for that, " she giggles a bit

"That's the same thing Noah says you know I'm worried about you two maybe you should-..."

" I'm sorry about she just gets so excited when you visit Noah's upstairs in the usual room." You go up the long spiral steps and turn right, you then walk in the first room to the left and you see Noah sitting on the bed meditating.

His sect uniform is gone and he is wearing a white t-shirt and black sweat pants, You move in closer and study his face through his eyes are close you can see the seriousness on his face.

It's he ok? I mean he's been acting strange ever since you talked to during the ritual, It's like he's more determined now he's much different than the goofy Noah you're used to but it's kinda admirable, You sit on the floor in front of him and start to meditate.
