Lost

I followed the doctor to where the girl was staying and I had to see this cause I couldn't believe what he was saying. I don't think anyone would just believe what he said without any type of evidence to back it up.

Once we had reached Lixue's room, It was too late because she had already woken up. Damn I'm going to have the find another way to see the symbols on her back.

"You! Where am I?!"

"Relax Lixue you're in my palace"

"Your palace?! Just who are you?"

She was looking around the room

"I am Xiou Lieyan the first son of the Fire Emperor"

"Why have you taken me Lieyan!?"

"Where are your manners? Speaking to a prince in such a disrespectful way?"

"Why? You're the one who took me-"

"You mean saved you? If It wasn't for me you'd probably still be bleeding and tied up by that damn tree. Plus who knows what the fire general would have done to you. You should show some type of gratitude to me"

"I'd rather be dead"

"What is up with you and death! Is that what your sole purpose is? Just wanting to die or think about death. Do you do anything else besides wanting to die?"

"Have your people been murdered infront of your eyes? No. Do you know how that feels?"

I rubbed my temples and sighed

"Yes, I know all to well of seeing my people being slaughtered.."

Lixue paused

"Sigh, things like this happens everyday. We're at war Lixue...Did the Snow King keep you locked away"

She looked down at the floor and rubbed her elbow.

"Basically...I was locked away in this small house on the mountains, on my own. The Snow King would visit from time to time, but I never understood why....why was I locked away. He wouldn't let me see my family or anything"

I furred my eyebrows at her

"You mean to tell me you, have no clue on why the Snow King would want to lock you away? You don't have any type of special power that he may not want anyone to get their hands on, or maybe even a certain talent?"

Lixue looked up at me

"I do- No I don't have anything.."

I scoffed

" You are obviously lying to me. You just don't want to say that you have powers. I understand, however I don't take liars too kindly. I would rather you to say the truth that you don't want to say then to lie. I have been nothing but nice to you and I even had one of my best doctors tend to your wounds."

The look in her eyes have changed

"So what if I have some damn powers everyone freaking does. Why are you so interested about me huh?! Wouldn't your WIFE disapprove of her dear husband being fixed on another woman!"

I chuckled lowly

"Heh my wife? Really? Is that the card you're pulling-"

"Yes! Now go off to her and ask her a million questions"

Why is he just standing there staring at me! He should've left by now-

"What if I don't have a wife?"

"The first son of the Fire Emperor isn't married? You expect me to believe that crap."

"Well yes, because it's the truth. Father has tried to make me marry many women but none caught my interest."

I rolled my eyes and stood up

"Miss Lixue"

"Yes Lieyan"

"Care to join me to the Royal Palace?"

"What's the occasion"

"It's the celebration of my third brother"

"His wedding I'm guessing?"

"Correct"

"Wouldn't rumors fly when they see the Fire Prince with someone from the Snow Kingdom ?"

"I didn't think you were the type to care about rumors"

"I'm not it's just-"

"See then there nothing much to worry about if that's the case, anywho I'll take my leave so they can get you ready. I'll see you in a bit."

Lieyan said as he left

That bastard..Sigh the servant girls immediately began to dress me and style my hair. I'm starving hopefully the royal palace has some good food there.

"Lady Lixue, your highness is quite fond of you. Your highness usually avoids and dismisses women"

I sighed and after a some time had passed, I was ready for the wedding. I waited inside the carriage for Lieyan, which didn't take him long.

"You look beautiful Miss Lixue"

I smiled

"Thank you Lieyan"

"Your manners Lixue"

"What? You'd rather me call you your highness all day?"

"Others will misunderstand you"

I rolled my eyes

"Let them, I don't care about what other's think about me."

Lieyan chuckled softly

"Ah I like you Miss Lixue, you're so different from the other women I've come across."

"I guess you're used to women throwing themselves at you, and flattering you about your good looks huh?"

Lieyan smirked

"Oh? You find me good looking? Why thank you Miss Lixue"

I scoffed but I was surprised, I wasn't expecting a confession.

The carriage stopped

"Your Highness we've arrived at the Royal Palace."

Lieyan stepped out of the carriage and held his hand out to help me out the carriage

"Thank you"

Wow the Royal palace is such a beautiful place, I would have never thought that I would have come to a place like this. I will admit that it is kind of hot up here, as if we're near a Volcano of some sort.

Making my way to what seems to be where the wedding will be held. I noticed that red and gold are the main colors you see decorating this palace and it's so beautiful, is a different scenery from the Snow Kingdom I will say that.

I didn't even realize that Lieyan wasn't near me anymore, I had somehow wandered off on my own.This is bad because I literally don't know where to find him...
