1 The fish that married the moon

A fish yearned for the moon, and each day through momentous will and momentum the fish leapt breaking the surface of the sea to feel the moonlight upon its scales.

On the eve of the destruction of the world the fish's actions were finally met with an answer from the moon. Little fish, said the moon, if you such desire...before this universe meets the end, I shall marry you and you become mine as I become yours.

The fish replied with a final breaking through of the surface, it's life faded for marriage was the final bit of magic left within that broken universe.

'See you again, little fish' said the moon, and dimmed forever more.
