The day of survival

Today everyone would be going out to do some survival games but I can't. I'm Joshua, 19 years old and I'm still too young to do the survival games. My mom (mam or mother) doesn't want me to do it while my dad does. I'm also addicted to books, yes yes I'm a nerd. I have a little sister called Cindy, only 14 years old. I live in a small town in Busan, South Korea but since the survival games have started I've been in my room studying for my test that I have coming up.

I'm jealous. I'm just jealous. "Joshua!! Tea is ready," shouts Cindy so I get up and walk out of my room to see mom in the kitchen. She looked upset as I hear millions of people outside.
