1 The 1 billion dollar project

Black Lock City, New York, the year 2070

_____

Dr. Wilson could only sit back in amazement.

Lying on a cold surface was his best creation. His first creation. His eyes widen as he admires her.

Her short silky black hair, skin pale yet had color. Reaching out, he touched the metal that came from her lower jaw down. Italic white is what it was made of. Her lips were red and neck thin. With the italic white stopping just below the chin, it now began with a jet black down to the top of her breast.

Dr. Wilson smiles deeply as he touches the arms of this girl, this cyborg. Her arms were long and skinny. Bold black with a white design of a scorpion.

He fixes his glasses on his face before pushing off the ground rolling in his chair to his high-tech computer.

The wheels of the chair run smoothly on the ground. The cold air conditioning touches upon his skin as he lands in front of this metal desk. Papers all over the place, coffee mugs and pens scattered all over.

With a single tap on a key, a hologram was brought up. In the top right corner of the hologram was a record symbol.

It was recording him.

Wilson takes his glasses off. Rubbing his wrinkly hands together as he sets his elbows on the desk. Taking a deep breath as he looks off in the distance at the cyborg female he'd just created.

"It's incredible. Absolutely amazing." Wilson takes a deep breath. His eyes lying on this girl.

"She's something special. Something I can't explain. I found a way to bring back the dead. How to make a human into a cyborg. She's half robot but her human vital signs are very much active. She's healthier than she was as a human." Wilson's voice goes higher as he talks about her.

Stopping, he listens to the air conditioner in the room. Oh, how the room was quiet without the other workers. Wilson takes a sip of his coffee before looking at the time.

4:24am it was. He'd been awake for 3 days working on this project.

He then realizes the mess around the place. Papers everywhere, dirty glass cells, containers with special toxins inside of them. The lights were dim and the room was cold.

"More testing will be done tomorrow. we will be testing from 11am to 2pm Eastern time. If gone successful she will be sent to Italy where she'll be approved for the Industrial Military carried out by Scorpion. I am Dr. Wilson, and this message is approved." Wilson taps on the keyboard seeing a message pop up on the screen.

"Your message will be sent to Venice, Italy in 2 weeks. Would you like to bypass and send it early?" It reads.

Staring at the girl with such excitement yet disappointment, Wilson swallows and looks at the ground.

His eyes slowly lift up and to a stack of papers on the other desk. Blood samples from this cyborg were in small tubes aside from the papers that had all her information on them.

Wilson rushes over to the desk.

Grabbing the stack of papers, he lifts them into the air to see the information to make sure he was grabbing the correct stack. He did.

Setting them into the printer, he hesitated to press the printing button. He just didn't feel right. Like something was on his chest he had to get out. Rubbing his neck, he swallows and grabbed the printed papers before slapping the original ones in the shredder. He then cased the printed ones and shoved them into his coat pocket.

That's when it happened.

Wilson looks up in fear. His eyes gaze passed his reflection and into the doorway. Standing there was one of his coworkers.

Wilson turned around swiftly and pretended as if he hadn't done anything wrong. Sliding what seemed to be a microchip into his pocket, he lifted an eyebrow.

"A success, Doctor?" Addison asked.

Wilson chuckles. Walking around the cyborg, Addison lightly touches the arms of this creation.

"Scorpion will be pleased with this. your paycheck is 3 million as of right now. Commander Coast Guard has ordered for your pay to go up if this project is successful. He will be issuing you out 100 million for this and an additional 200 million to place this creation in his name," Addison informs.

Wilson nods and heads over to the light switch of the room.

"Clocked in?" Wilson asked.

"Yeah!"

Wilson nods.

"Yo, Wilson. This... how'd you do this?" Addison asked.

Wilson took a deep breath and shrugs before looking Addison in her French eyes. He could see the excitement in her eyes. But that's because she was getting paid to boss others around and would make a shit tone of money for Wilson's good doings.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Addison." Wilson turns off the light for his side of the room. Making his way out, he closed the door behind him before glancing to see Addison covering the cyborg with a white sheet to keep anything from getting on this 1 billion dollar project.
