The Hero’s Beginning - Chapter 1

-Anime style world

-The Hero has messy blonde hair with yellowish eyes, blue armor with gold outlines, though his armor is broken and in disarray at the moment

-his sword, normally shining silver with a golden hilt was now chipped and broken, destroyed nearly from the attacks of his enemy

The Hero is on his knees, darkness covering his eyes, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth and holes in his armor, mortal enemy that was his best friend is attacking his love, shes putting up a good fight, trying to buy the hero time, but is ultimately no match. The hero can do nothing, he has no power left, he gave it his all and it wasnt enough. Then, from a dark corner, a flame ignites in his mind, he cant let it end like this, he has to do something. He thinks, calls out to anyone who could hear him in his mind, prays to the gods to not let it end like this. The Hero starts to stand up, dimensional distortions and tears in reality occuring around him as so many other anime characters walk up beside him. Music crescendos until he has his sword pointing into the sky. As soon as the sword is pointed straight up it "shings" and all the other characters disappear and all goes dark again in less than a second. The hero then starts to glow with the power from all the other heroes. He looks up, his eyes now brimming with fire. "You wont win, i wont let you." he says as 'Goodbye to a World' starts playing. The Hero and his Nemesis lunge at each other, screaming faintly as the music plays in the foreground, an epic battle ensues, both ridiculously powerful and evenly matched. The Hero catches his Nemesis off balance for a split second and hits him in a chink in his armor, fatally wounding him and sending him careening into the ground. His Nemesis laughs "I knew you could do it, i knew you could defeat me."

"What do you mean?" asks the hero, confused but wary

"You could never have realized your full potential and excelled without a catalyst, something to encourage you, so i became the bad guy, i made sure you knew i would kill you and take things that were important to you away so you would unleash your full potential. And now i get to see you like this, im so happy i got to see this before i went."

Tears are running down The Hero's face, uncontrollable.

"No, you cant be serious, this has to be some joke, you've always have been my friend, you cant die like this. This cant be how it ends."

"Its ok, ill always be with you, in your heart. Ill always support you from there. Give you power and strength when you need it. Its ok, everything is better like this, the hero winning, and the villain losing. Its only natural...for things to turn out...like...this..."

The lights go dim as the nemisis's hand slips away from the hero's tear stained face. Goodbye to a World still playing in the background as it goes dark on The Hero over his friends body, cursing the world and all who enacted such a fate.
