3 CHAPTER 2

"Hey wake up!" Ella shouted as she knock on my door.

"I'm up..." I grumpily said. "Come in..." I said as I sat up. Gosh... my head hurts.

"Don't you have class today?" she asked. My eyes widened!

"What time is it!?" I asked while panicking. I checked my phone, only to see that it's 9 in the morning already! my class starts at exactly 9 in the morning! "I'm late! you should've wake me up Ella!"

"I thought you're up!" she said while laughing

"I need to get ready now, sorry!" I said before running to the bathroom to take a shower.

After I got dressed and all... I hurriedly made my way to school! I gasped for air as I run to the hallway. I am 30 minutes late already! I still need to go to the locker room to pick up the books I will be needing for my class today.

"Hurry up... hurry up..." I repeatedly whispered to myself as I picked up the books out of my locker.

"Running late Cinderella?" I rolled my eyes when I heard Adam's familiar voice.

"Not now. I will be late for class" I said before turning my back.

"Aight! I'll see you later!" Adan said.

Good thing I was not scolded even though I was late for class.

"Hey Mike!" I greeted as I walk pass him but he just ignored me! what the hell? "Are you ignoring me now?" I asked curiously

"I need to go now heather..." he said while looking down. So I had no choice but to nod.

"Okay then.. take care!" I said as I wave at him goodbye.

He's acting weird. Did something happened?

when class was over I decided to go to the library so that I could read some books. I need to study for our upcoming preliminary exam.

I chose to sit on the far side so I would not be disturbed. But I was wrong because when I got close to the table I saw Adan smiling as he look at me. I sighed before walking towards him.

"Why are you even here?" I asked. I had no choice but to sit in front of him.

"Uh.. studying?" he said hesitantly. But I laughed when I saw that he's holding the book upside down! he is pretending to read!

"Seriously?" I giggled so he frowned. He slowly turned the book he was holding.

"So tell me about that book you are reading..." I mocked him.

"Yeah right," he said, a little bit annoyed.

"Hmm, sure." I giggled. I arranged my things so that I could start what I'll be doing.

"What are you doing?" he asked in astonishment as he watch me arrange my stuffs.

"I will be studying. Of course." I answered. He nodded before standing up. I thought he was leaving.

"Oh no. You won't sit beside me." I said while blocking the chair next to me

"I wanna watch you study. Why is that?"

"No. Go back there." I said as I pointed the chair where he was seated earlier.

"Fine then, anything for you Cinderella." he got no choice but to follow what I've said. I sighed before I started scanning my notes while Adan slept on the table. The nerve of this guy!

"Wake up. don't you have class?" I kicked his foot lightly. He groaned before turning his glance at me.

"I'm fine..." I frowned at his answer. What the hell?

"Right. You're fine.." I giggled. "Okay. Go back to sleep. I think you need one."

"Mocking me again Cinderella?"

"No. I'm not. Why?" I mocked him.

"Fine." he sighed before leaning close to me.

"I'm hungry..."

"Then go outside and eat." I said.

"I don't want to eat alone,"

"Then call your girlfriend."

"Girlfriend?" he asked with confusion.

"Oh right! you don't do girlfriends cause you're a playboy."

"Hey, that's foul." I laughed when he snorted.

"Getting grumpy now, captain?" I teased.

"Go back to what you were doing. I'll just wait for you" he said.

when I finished studying I quickly arranged my stuffs before standing up.

"Are you done?" he asked before standing up.

"Yeah. Why?"

"I was waiting for you. Dummy."

"I thought you're here to sleep?" I asked.

"You thought." he chuckled before he started walking to keep up with me.

"Don't you have training?" I asked.

"Nope." he said before holding out his hand.

"What?" I asked.

"Hand me your bag." he demanded.

"What? no. I can carry it myself." I said. I was surprised when he effortlessly snatched the bag I was holding.

"Come on, just give it to me." I pouted before letting him do whatever he wants.

"You have work?" he asked. I nodded.

"I need to work," I said.

"You only have a one day off every week, and that is every Tuesday right?" I frowned. How did he even know about those?

"What? are you stalking me?" I giggled.

"Yes- what, hell no." I giggled.

"Well, you sounded guilty. Hmm" I said before I stopped walking because we were at the gate already. "You can give me my bag now," I said.

"Why?"

"Because I'm going home. Silly." I giggled.

"I'll take you home then,"

"And why is that?" I raised my brow at him.

"Because I want to?" he said as he walked out the gate to where his car is parked.

"Hey my bag!" I chased after him.

"Get in the car," he demanded as he opened the door for me.

"No way. I just live near here." I said.

"How near? 20 minutes away?" he mocked.

"Hey! are you stalking me? because I think you are." I said as I remain standing.

"Don't be so hardheaded. Just get inside the car."

"How will I know that you'll keep me safe?"

"Do you think I'll kidnap you?" he laughed. "Come on, we aren't kids anymore. I know what I'm doing heather."

"I just live right over there!" I pointed on the right side. "I'm used to it! just let me walk!"

"It doesn't matter," he said coldly.

"Of course it matter to me! you always play with me! what the hell is wrong with you?" I burst out.

"I'm not playing with you. Can't you just get inside the car so that I can take you home?" he calmly said.

"Fine." I said giving up before getting into his car.
