The First Fight

Peter was in the van as he was being sent to the front lines to fight. He had to command 100 men and take over one of the command posts that is controlled by the enemy.

When he arrived to his post he saw that their where a lot of wounded and it hurt him to see so many people in agony. He felt their pain and wished for nothing more than to ease their suffering. He continued on to the main tent where his commander was at. Once he was face to face with his commander they talked on strategies and possibilities. They also had to take in the men's morale, power, and whether then can fight. The commander was told on how Peter had gotten high marks on the strategy exam.

When they where finished, the commander told Peter to go rest and if possible to go see his men and attempt to boost their morale. Peter did just that. He saw the men and how they all had a gloomy attitude and looked like they didn't care if they died anymore. Peter stood on a nearby table and gathered their attention. When all of them where looking at him he started. " We are soldiers for the empire. But we do not fight for only the empire. We fight for our loved ones. Our families. And their families. We fight for the people. Their beliefs. We fight for their freedom. WE FIGHT TO LIVE!"

The soldiers cheered as they put on new faces full of hope. Peter believed his work was done until he saw one man in a corner. He looked even more gloomy then the others. He looked like he wanted to commit suicide right then and there. Peter walked up to him and noticed that he was holding a picture of a woman. " She looks beautiful. Is she your lover?"'

The man was startled by Peter and quickly hid the photo. " That's none of your concern."

"Well you look so sad that I had to come over and try to cheer you up."

"S-she is my fiance... But I don't know if I will see her again.

"Why?"

"Well i'm very weak even weaker than a toddler."

"I doubt that but you do look weak. Maybe you are meant for something else.. How about this we go to the commander and try to switch you position to something else. What do you think?"

the mans eyes glowed with hope as he looked up at him. "REALLY?! THAT WOULD MEAN THE MOST TO ME!"

"Great lets go."

They went to the commander and changed his position to that of a assistant medic seeing how he doesn't mind blood.

Pow that Peter was finished he went to his quarters and rest.
