When Peter entered the office all four men where seated waiting for him to sit down in the chair away from him. The Captain started talking about how Peter had good talent for physical training and how he achieved high marks on the strategy exams. The Higher up that wore a blue uniform and had black hair with brown eyes stood up and walked up to Peter. "I'm Jack and i want to see how well you would do in a sword fight so please follow me."

Peter got up and followed Jack to the sparring field where Jack got two swords from the racks. Jack tossed one of the swords to Peter and waited for him to prepare himself for their duel. Peter took an outward stance and studied his blade. It was a 75 cm long and two fingers wide. He closed his eyes and attempted to calm down for the upcoming duel. When he opened his eyes they had an unspeakable sharpness as if they could cut the world. He bent his left leg forward into a right angle. Jack on the other hand calmly stood with his sword in one hand and looked around. He looked as if he didn't know the correct positions for holding a sword. When it looked like Peter was ready, Jack charged at him and slashed his sword at Peter. Peter parried it and counter attacked while taking a step forward to pressure Jack. Jack calmly deflected Peters counter and jumped back. Peter had a surprised expression while Jack simply said "your opponent isnt going to fight you like a sparring match he is going to fight you to the death and he will use any methods to prevail.¨

when Jack fished speaking he kicked dirt in Peter's eyes and attacked him.

when Peter finally opened his eyes he saw Jack was holding his sword at Peter's throat. Peter realized he had lost but then had an idea. "you know Peter... you put up a good fight."

"thank you but i'm not done."

When Peter finished talking he swung his sword at Jacks and knocked it away. he then proceeded to kick Jack in the gut and send him flying. He then grabbed Jack's sword and threw it far away. He walked closer to Jack and released a menacing aura that cause Jack to feel fear. "ENOUGH." shouted the Captain as he got in between the two.

"Now we move on to archery."

The higher up that wore a black robe walked over and introduced himself." I am Samuel and i will go against you in archery."

Samuel looks where rather handsome. He had shoulder length black hair and his face looked majestic while his eyes looked like that of an eagle. They continued to the archery range, where there were human shaped targets 75 meters away. " Here we will play three rounds in which we have to kill the targets the fastest and easiest way."

Peter got a bow and pulled it to test the needed draw strength. When he found it just right he continued on to the line and readied his arrow. Once the arrow was drawn and shook with power, Peter took a deep breath and released the arrow. The arrow flew across the air with unimaginable speed and struck the target in the neck area where it stayed.

Samuel did the same ritual with the bow that peter had done and walked to the line and shot an arrow and hit the chest. He completed his task with such ease that everyone present believed that it really was easy. But they all new that it wasn't for they had all trained in archery for awhile.

Peter shot his arrow once more and struck the dummy on the its left side of its chest. he then looked at Samuel as Samuel knocked the arrow and released it and sent it flying as it struck the dummy in the head.

Peter didn't want to lose so he moved in front of Samuel and fired an arrow at the head of the dummy. With a splintering sound the arrow that was lodged into the dummy's head split apart as another arrow landed where it was.

"I admit defeat. that was some formidable archery. I would love to go against you some time again."

"Well then now that peter here had beat 2 of the three higher ups here. Don't you all believe that he should rank up?"

"Well he definitely should seeing as it would be a waste to have a talent like this stay here as a foot soldier."

"Peter, follow us as we go and get you a new uniform."

Peter followed behind them as they went to the office to get him a new uniform and to announce his new position. when they arrived everything went according to plan and peter was now moved from soldier to general.
