4 Story Telling
After I got home it was 16:15 so I quickly made a sandwich and went down to the dojo in the basement. After I finished the sandwich, I grabbed my spear and started to practice with it.
...
"Hey, we're here!"
I looked up at them after I stopped swinging the spear and stood up. I saw Tian Hong, Fei Lan Hua and (her sister) Fei Bai Xue.
"Bai Xue, why are you here?"
"Why can't I be here, they said that there would be some storytelling so I had to be here." She said with a cheeky grin
"Uhh, alright fine." I said grumbling "So where do I start?"
"Obviously from the time you first entered the Qi Realm," Xiao Hong said
"That's practically the beginning! Fine, so you know when you first enter the world right you are sent to a random place..."
....
"It's pitch black, where am I."
A blue notification window appeared
[Welcome to the energy world]
[your status and zone designation is being calibrated, Please wait]
[...]
[Thank You For Waiting]
After that message appeared, all the messages vanished, and the black nothingness around me started to crack like it was glass and bright light flooded the space. After the black void glass pieces disappeared, I appeared on the edge of a forest and the bottom of a cliff.
[Notification: you have 1 new message]
"Huh? Can I see the message?"
After that, a hovering crystalline blue interface with flowery designs on the edge popped up in front of me.
[Notification: You have received "x1 Basic Starter Kit" would you like to open it?]
"Open it"
A separate screen opened up which said:
["x1 Basic Weapon" "x1 Basic Combat outfit" "x1 civilian outfit " "x5 bronze coins" "x1 Temporary Compass" "x1 Basic Qi Manipulation Manual"]
It all appeared in my hands in a relatively small rucksack.
"Let's see here...the [Temporary Compass] leads me to my spawn city which is that way," I muttered pointing in the direction while looking at the [Temporary Map] that appeared because of the compass. I looked up and despaired.
"Shit, really? "I said as I gawked at the 10 meter cliff "Just my luck" I grumbled.
"But first, let me get a weapon," I thought as I took the [Basic Weapon] scroll out of the bag. It was not much of a scroll since it was a black metallic rectangle with one of the long sides made of curved black glass with 8 finger-like indents on the glass and two buttons on the other side. In between the finger-like indents in the middle of the rectangle was a line of words that said pull.
"How do you use this? Let's see.... you put your fingers on the indents....push the buttons... and pull the rectangle apart from the center. Ok, here goes nothing."I thought. I place my fingers on the indents, pushed the button, and pulled. After pulling the device, a blue light shined out from the division. The two devices in my hands then transformed and flew out of my hands morphing in to a myriad of forms before forming the edge of a holographic box that encased me. A window then popped up and said
[What is Your Desired Weapon of Choice?]
"Staff," I said since It was one of the weapons I am proficient in and it is very useful when not in combat. A metallic staff then appeared hovering in the blue holocube.
[make adjustments at your leasure] After a couple of adjustments, I confirmed the weapon. Right after the confirmation, a metallic staff with a length of 2 metres and a weight of 1.5 lbs and a diameter of 2 inches appeared.
"Next, the armour," I thought taking out the [Basic Combat Outfit] scroll. this scroll was much simpler and looked like a cylindrical tube. The system only said twist it when I inquired how to use it so I gave the cylinder a good ole twist. It unfurled into a floating screen with a bunch of basic combat outfits. I picked one and it appeared on me. It looked like a white leather uniform that conforms to the body with light grey metal pieces that are placed all over the uniform as light combat armour.
"Whelp, I'm ready. Lets get a move on." I thought as I tied the bag to my belt and started walking besides the cliff face to try to find a way around it.

After walking for about 90 minutes, he saw a cave that leads into the cliff face and heard some muffled but brisk footsteps so he silently climbed on top of one of the trees, slowed my breath and looked down. A while later, a group of 5 people came walking towards the cave on a dirt path. It was a group of two females and 3 males.
"BOOM!"
A blur streaked past them and hit the ground five meters ahead of them causing a crater and a lot of dust.
A young man with a saber on his shoulder walked out of the crater wearing black pants with a golden dragon embroidered designs and a black tang suit with gold embroidered designs at the hem.
"This treasure cave is ours and you cheaters aren't welcome," He then motioned to the ladies" I wouldn't trust them as much as you are if I were you,"
"What do you mean," the two girls asked becoming cautious of the three males and the saber guy.
"Wang Xuanren, don't lie. You're just saying that to cause disharmony" the guy that seemed to be the three males leader shot back
"Whether I'm lying or not, you know in your heart Da Zhu," Xuanren said as Da Zhu grimaced with anger
"What's going on, is what he said true. What did you do? "One of the girls said as she pulled what looked like her younger sister back with her as she questioned the four men.
"Oh he did nothing much, they merely just stole everything from new cultivators and also committed some heinous acts." said Xuanren "which is why they are called the three debaucherous pigs."
"What were you going to do!!!" The girl in front yelled while they both took out a weapon. the one speaking took out a sword while the girl took out a rare weapon, a sci-fi looking assault rifle.
The rifle girl aimed her gun at Da Zhu while the other one raised her sword in a defensive position at both Xuanren and Da Zhu.
" Xuanren, I'm gonna fucking kill you first, and then you two bitches as well!!!" Da Zhu roared as he pulled out a club and rushed at Xuanren. the other two also Pulling out their weapons, one being a sword and the other pulled out (surprisingly) a whip. They then attacked the two females.
The rifle girl aimed at the one with the whip and fired bolts of energy as the man flicked the whip in their direction. It severed the whip and punched a hole through the man's arm. Then she twisted apart the gun and it transformed into a 1-meter long two-handed sword with a single-edged energy blade and charged.
The the other swords women and swordsman clashed with each other. The girl seemed to have the upper hand. The swords were a blur with the male being pushed back. It seemed like the girl had proper sword training while the male had no training whatsoever and only relied on strength and instinct.
As Da Zhu swung his club at Xuanren, he seemed to crush him as the club smashed onto the ground with a thud but then Xuanren faded away and appears behind Da Zhu hacking at his neck with his saber in mid-air forcing Da Zhu to duck and roll away from the blade. he then swung the club back at Xuanren who was still in the air causing him to block with his saber throwing him back 3 to 4 feet.
As the fighting was going on, Tian Long slipped off the tree stealthily and sneaked around the trees and bushes heading into the cave. After getting a meter into the cave, there was a stone gate that was already open with a door on each side. Inside of the gate was a dusty room with a table to the left and a bookshelf on the right. There is a stone pillar in the center of the room with a small shelf embedded into the pillar. There are a couple of shelves above the table to the left made out of jade. As he walked into the room, he looked at the shelf that is embedded into the stone pillar. There is a floating cube with blue glowing designs on the shelf. He walked closer to the pillar to take a better look at the cube. There was a sci-fi design on the box and a diamond shaped design on the box. He made a move to touch the diamond and then the cube hummed and the opened up to reveal a band ring. It was a silver ring with a blue glowing strip that wraps around the center of the ring with and a diamond-shaped engraving at the topmost center part of the ring. I looked around the box to see if there were any traps. As I didn't find any traps, I grabbed the ring to inspect it further. After I grabbed the ring, the box closed up and got smaller and smaller until it was the size of a pea and then winked out of existence. Looking a the ring closely, I discovered that the ring had to be at least an Immortal-rank High-grade artifact. It was also a spacial storage container so I placed it into my satchel since I can't use it unless I had spiritual qi and took out the [Basic Qi Manipulation Manual]. I opened it to the first page where it tells you how to sense qi and read it. It said that to sense qi, you have to perform a breathing technique to develop inner qi and use it to accumulate qi. As I followed the manuals instructions, I sensed a flow of wind that wasn't there before. I recognized it as the qi that the manual describes as internal qi inside of my body. It is flowing around inside my body. I then took out the ring and placed a drop of blood on it to bond it to myself. I wore the ring since I still can't use it without being able to manipulate qi outside of my body. Then I turn to the stone table. There was a bunch of jade bottles lying, a bag, two rings, a bunch of crystals, a sword, and a manual were on the table. The manual's title was titled [Five Heavenly Daos Manual]. I placed the jade bottles, rings, bag and crystals into my satchel. As I went to grab the sword, I was pulled into an independent space. In the space were five divine beasts.
With a primal roar, a voice thundered "bring us to the destined one."
I was then promptly ejected from the space and my conscious was back in the real world where not even a second has passed. I then grabbed the sword and manual and placed it into my satchel. When I looked at the bookshelf, It was full of books that were titled [Theory of Qi] and [Reaserch on How Qi Operates] and the like. I knew I had to take those too even though some of them were common. But my satchel was full so I searched around for a bag. I found an empty suitcase so I used it to hold all the books and research material in the bookshelf and quickly scrambled back out of the cave. I essentially took all of the valuables from this part of the treasure cave. As I looked back at the stone door, it started to fade out and in its place was a wooden door with some marble decorations.
I nimbly climbed out of the cave and hid in a nearby bush. When I looked at the battlefield, the rifle girl was now holding a scythe and her opponent was missing a head and was spraying blood while the swordswomen had stabbed the male in the chest. Da Zhu had his body chopped in half from head to toe. The male named Xuanren was thanked by the girls and then headed back the other way on the road. Xuanren then headed into the cave. I then snuck past the cave entrance and continued on my way with my newly found suitcase.
