What happens when a vampire joins a coven of witches? Chosen as the vampire to continue their tradition, Evelina journeyed to the capital with a goal of observing her prey, planning her strike. Differing Expectations

She did not know what happened. She did not know what part of their conversation went wrong.

Evelina stared at his retreating back, heart aching as her feet moved as if wanting to follow him, yet having doubts of doing so. She cannot ask him to forgive her if she remained clueless of where her mistake started.

The vampiress thought that they were going on the right path. She even bought him the same flavoured ice that he had bought her before. It was for old times' sake.

And it was the first day of the festival! They should not have been fighting now!

West's words echoed inside her mind. "It felt like you were ready to throw us away once you got him."

The thought of leaving them when she had already accomplished her mission was inevitable. And she had refused thinking of what would become of her relationship with them when she did because it made her want to… to remain with them.
