77 Not as professional as expected

The next morning, a rumor that would become a historical stain on Gryffindor House spread through Hogwarts school like a fire in a dry meadow.

Like a deadly sandstorm in the middle of the desert!

Harry Potter, the boy who lived... He wet his bed!

So did his best friend, Ron Weasley!

All due to what they both attest (denying the peeing part with a suspiciously red face), was actually the fault of a new ghost that appeared at Hogwarts.

He was evil and a real madman!

After hearing the students talk about it, Peeves wondered if after so long after his birth, a little brother was formed for him.

The newcomer seemed to have so much potential!

He felt proud and decided to go a whole day without cracking jokes as a celebration.

Then he could do double tomorrow! He had to show how things were done around here.

The ghosts searched for the supposed rookie, but denied finding anything about it.

The Weasley twins were impressed by Soisen's prank and secretly pulled out the list of "people we should avoid playing pranks on for our own good," climbing his name into a higher position.

Ginny and Luna were eyeing Soisen suspiciously, as they saw how he approached the Weasley twins yesterday. And not only them, both Hermione and Silvia also found the events too much of a coincidence. So when they thought who could be the hand in the shadows, they unconsciously looked at Soisen.

And after seeing two more people already suspecting their friend who was acting as if it had nothing to do with him, they had a confirmation in their hearts.

Later they had Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Master Lupin and after walking in and seeing a mirrored cabinet in the classroom, Soisen knew that they would be coming into contact with the boggart today. He approached Hermione and Silvia secretly warning them.

And where would he stand? Naturally, somewhere behind Potter, when the lesson would be interrupted by the appearance of....

Wait a minute!

With the shield he used on the express to Hogwarts, the Dementors never had such close contact with Potter. Would his boggart still transform into a Dementor or would it be something else?

The only reason he didn't leave was that Lupin already saw him and believed for sure that the lesson would be interrupted when it was Potter's turn.

I mean, what kind of idiot lets others know publicly what their deepest fear is?

Anyone with a modicum of bad intentions would undoubtedly end up using it to their advantage in the future.

Not to mention the poor execution of the lesson, which should have been done privately to respect the students. But what could one expect from someone like Lupin, especially after relieving what he did in the past.

Instead, he played music as if it was a circus show.

Really pathetic.

He was determined, if Potter's boggart wasn't a Dementor and Lupin didn't cancel the lesson, he would get out of the row and refuse to face the creature. Even if it cost him points for not cooperating with the teacher, he didn't care.

Besides, to be on the safe side, he would leave a few students between him and Potter.

Neville, Ron, Parvati, etc.

They all started cheering with laughter, seeming to forget that they would have to deal with the abrupt change in mood when it was their turn, resulting in something counterproductive. Another poor approach by Lupin to the lesson.

And Potter's turn came.

When the clown in the box saw his new "prey," he began to change and revealed....

A Hogwarts expulsion letter.

Damn it! This is sadder than when New Scamander faced a boggart in Dumbledore's class and the creature turned into an office desk, littered with papers with lots of boring documents stacked in towers.

But it made sense, what would Potter do if he was kicked out of his favorite place for the past three years?

Maybe he thought he should go back to the Dursleys and give up magic?

-Riddikulus," Potter said, turning the expulsion letter into a ticket to the circus.

Soisen watched as Lupin seemed to breathe easy, believing that no one would notice him. It seems that even with the defense he set up, something must have happened to affect Potter in the express carriage, though surely not with as much force since the boggart did not assume the form of the Dementor.

That would explain why, despite avoiding the Dementors' entrance, Malfoy still taunted Potter in Care of Magical Creatures. He may not have fainted, but it wasn't impossible for him to end up dazed or even vomiting.

It seems that some plot issues are immovable.

With a single thought, he took advantage of the fact that no one was paying attention to him and turned invisible. Then she approached her two friends carefully so as not to alert anyone and whispered something in their ears.

Silvia nodded imperceptibly, while Hermione hesitated and shook her head.

She was not prepared to "fool" a teacher in the middle of a lesson, more so when for the first time she seemed to be someone competent. Soisen could deduce her reasoning, but if Lupin was someone that good, he would have been able to detect two of his students disappearing into thin air.

Interesting tidbit, it turns out that Hermione Granger's greatest fear was several stone headstones with her parents' names on them. Soisen and Silvia's names were also on them.

It was awkward but understandable to those who saw it, no one laughed because the loss of family was something no one wanted. Simultaneously, Hermione regretted not choosing to skip the lesson for the first time in her life.

A little later, the lesson ended without incident and everyone left the classroom excitedly commenting on how great the new teacher was. Silvia and Soisen shook their heads silently, while Hermione inwardly questioned Lupin's qualifications for not being able to count how many students faced the boggart.

She also realized that what her friend said was true, this was not a lesson that should happen in other people's eyes.

Perhaps it was partly to Soisen's credit, since knowing Lupin's "nature," he made sure to back up his disillusionment charm with others such as silencing sounds, eliminating smells, or hiding his shadow. He just had to be careful not to move too fast or bump into anything, as he couldn't become intangible. Even if somehow Lupin noticed, he could use an illusion to fake the results.
