10 Don't fly!

-How did you do that? Harry asked as they waited for her teacher to arrive on the castle grounds to attend his first Flying class.

-The fact that? Be more specific, I do many things every day of my life.

"How did you get Professor Flitwick to fly across the classroom standing on his book?" It's like he's muggle surfing! Ron yelled after him, waving his arms in disbelief. "Besides, I can't believe I gave another twenty points for that!"

—Wait, do you know what surfing is? Soisen gave Ron a strange look.

—My father told me and my brothers. It's when a muggle stands in a doorway above the sea, right?

"Sure, let's get to that." Soisen didn't want to have to clear up every Muggle thing that happened, so he left Ron with that idea.

-Good morning students! —Professor Hooch greeted all the students as she adjusted her gloves and went to her favorite position to give the lesson, having everyone in her field of vision.

"Good morning, Mrs. Hooch!"

Each student stood with a standard school-issued broom to her right. Following the instructions, everyone yelled "up!" to get the broom up, albeit with varying degrees of success.

Potter and Malfoy got it right the first time, Hermione's broom seemed to doubt her and Ron's broom hit him on the nose, resulting in laughter from everyone. Soisen achieved success from him the first time.

Following Neville's disastrous handling that nearly resulted in disgrace, Professor Hooch warned that no one touched the broomsticks as she accompanied the unfortunate Neville to see Poppy in the hospital wing.

"Wow, what do we have here?" Malfoy retrieved Neville's Rememberer from the lawn.

"Give it back Malfoy!" Harry couldn't help but jump forward, making demands.

"What if I don't?" He—he hit the ground and came up with the broom in the air as he tossed the Remembrall up and down—I'd better set it down somewhere safe, like the top of a tree.

Harry jumped on the broom and rose up, ready to give chase.

Before Malfoy could firmly grasp the Remembrall that was falling into his hand, it flew out and landed in Soisen's palm to everyone's bewilderment.

-That? Soisen looked at the students who were looking at him wondering how he had done it. "We are wizards and in case you forgot, we just had a lesson on the Levitation Charm." Am I really the only one who came up with it? He looked around with an expression of disbelief. "Don't tell me you left your wands in your common rooms and didn't think you could break each other's necks in this dispute?"

The Gryffindor students looked at each other awkwardly and the Slytherins finally understood what had happened. The truth is that everyone wanted to see the show and no one thought of intervening to mediate.

-What is hapening here? Professor Hooch glared at the two students who were in the air, just as she had forbidden them.

Hermione stepped forward to clarify the situation and after confirming the version of the story with those present, the professor deducted twenty points from Slytherin for ignoring her order and another twenty from Gryffindor for her recklessness.

"As for you," Hooch looked at Soisen with appreciation in his eyes, "Since you've managed to prevent these two from possibly killing each other from a bad fall, forty points to Galegold!"

"Thank you, Professor Hooch," she thanked without showing much emotion.

Her points were completely irrelevant to her, since they do not give any kind of real benefit and are just a way of encouraging competition between houses, bringing her animosity to the extreme on several occasions. Furthermore, Dumbledore's blatant manipulation to hand out points like lemon drops and Snape's obsession with taking points away from any Gryffindor of his class, took the fun out of the supposedly fair competition between houses.

The House Cup? Since she couldn't take her to his own house and was only showing off, she was as good as nothing in her eyes.

"Thanks Soisen, Harry could have hurt himself chasing Malfoy," Hermione walked up to him and thanked, "I could have waited and told the professor, but no!

"It doesn't matter Hermione, children are children for a reason," she replied.

Soisen couldn't care less about the fact that Harry's talents with the broomstick won't be revealed and he won't be joining the Gryffindor Quidditch team this year. What she was going to do was stupid with a capital letter and she had barely exchanged a few words with the boy, they couldn't even be considered friends.

-Why did you do that? Ron walked over with an embarrassed Harry and gave Soisen a disgruntled look. "He was just a Slytherin about to kiss the mud, Harry had it all under control!"

-Really? Soisen looked at him with a questioning expression. "Then tell me, shouldn't I have intervened in the event that a child fell from a broom several feet above the ground, most likely ending up with a broken neck in instant death?" that no medicine in the castle could prevent? —he asked— Because it's clear that apart from me, everyone seemed to have forgotten the levitation charm.

Harry blanched a bit as he heard the vivid and very possible repercussion of his impulsive actions.

Was flying so dangerous?

But before he felt some kind of emotion when he was rising from the ground on the broom…it couldn't be that bad, right?

Ron held up his hand, finger outstretched, and tried to refute, but after several seconds of trying, he only yelled in exasperation and spun around red-faced as Harry gave him what he could deduce was a look of thanks for the help before following him. .

Malfoy was about to approach Soisen with his two thugs to teach him a lesson, but seeing Harry and Ron walking off like that after exchanging words with him, he realized that he wasn't helping Potter, he was simply caring. that both sides really hurt each other.

So in his infinite generosity, he let the matter drop and turned around, leaving Crabbe and Goyle wondering why they were going back without doing anything.

Where were the promised blows?
