1 Survive!
The places called Olympus, Atlantis and Wakanda were known to have an advanced technology. However, there was also a mysterious land that's located in between the seas and the skies.
This land was called Pendra. This was a floating island circulate slowly in the magnetic currents like icebergs at sea, scraping against each other and the towering mesa-like mountains of the region. In this place, huge outcroppings of unobtanium rip loose from the surface and float in the magnetic vortices due to the Meissner effect.
As the years passed by, the experts enhance every part of it and put a barrier to be invisible from the intruders. It could never be done without the living genius in this era, the King of all kings, Ruler of the land and protector of humankind, Edel.
However, as the days passed by, he begun to seek more power and abused everything he has. He killed those who think are useless to him. Even if its his own family. After the battle,
the day has finally arrived, as the woman gave birth to a child.
"Monica.." says the woman as she holds the new born child into her arms. She kissed her forehead and suddenly a ruckus begun outside the room.
"My lady, what should we do?" the maidservant asked her
The lady was nervous while holding her child. Yet she thinks deeply on how to escape.
She looks around then suddenly handed over her child to the maid
"My lady?"
"FELICIAAAA! GET OUT AT THIS INSANT!"
The lady just ignored the voice and hurriedly puts the tied blankets outside the window
"FELICIAAA!"
She heard him shouting her name while the guards from the outside blocking him but then she noticed a sound of a slashing sword.
She looks at her maid in fear.
"My lady, please survive" her maid said as she handed over the child
She cried but suddenly stopped as she looks to the child in her arms.
"FELICIA!"
they both looked at the door together and then the maid pushed her to the window
"My lady.. please go" she said in tears
The lady just sadly nodded while holding her child into her left arm and slowly went down by using the blankets she tied lately
"Monica.." she said while crying silently
She doesn't have any choice but to leave. The place is already in hell.
The lady runs as fast as she can to the arrive to the place she knew. She already knew it. Even before she got married to the King, she and her comrades made an agreement that if something goes wrong, THAT place is surely safe.
As she arrives to the place, she immediately made a magic circle into the ground by using her blood. Her comrades already taught her how to do it perfectly so there should be no problem. However, the only problem is that, in this experiment, it only takes 1 person for transmission.
She looks at her child and smiled
"It's alright Monica, you're the most important" she said and placed her into the magic circle then she also placed a device to complete the experiment
When she taught everything was going to be fine...
It was actually wrong..
The moment she turned around she saw a familiar figure
"Y-you.." she said in fear
The man smirked as he was holding his sword on his left hand. The sword was filled with blood
How could he?
She suddenly walks closer to him and blocks his way
"Give me the child" he said in a cold voice
"NO!" She firmly answered
"You got some nerve" he said and pulled her hair which made the lady scream in pain.
"Just let her go" the lady begged in tears then he pushed her into the ground
"I can't ... " he said and the lady looked up into his eyes. She reached her hands to him
"Pleaseeee..don't!" the lady begged in knees but he was merciless and pointed his sword through her chest.
She smiled
"Thank you" she said
The man was confused but then he noticed a circular light beside their direction. After he realized that the lady was tricking him, he directly killed her with his sword.
And as he walked towards the magic circle. There was no sign of the child.
**************Years later (The Present)
"Mourice!"
The lady suddenly turns around as someone called out her name
"What?" She asked
"Look, I'm already done with the research and guess what? this device is one of the hightech devices used a long time ago" she explains while holding the papers she researched
"Yeah I can see that" I said in a calm voice and continues to walk along the hallway
"Wait.. you're not excited, it means you already knew about it!" she said in excitement
I looked at her and smirked
"Then why didn't you tell me?"
"A test for intelligence" I said and walked ahead
But to my surprise, she just continue to walk behind my back
"Mourice..are you mad?" she asked
I stopped and turned around
"Do I look mad?" I asked
"Hmmm.. sort of" she answered
I raised my right eyebrow then she suddenly laughs
"Alright. you were not mad. Now, I'm convinced" she said with a smile on her face
and I just smiled back.
After class we directly went outside and a car suddenly stops right infont of us.
A man in 60s went outside from the car and greeted us
"Hello Mr. Walker" Tia said
"Hello young miss, its time to go" he said
"Alright" she replied and looked at me
"See you tomorrow" she said
"yeah" I said and waved goodbye to her
She went inside the car and her driver just followed
"Ohhh.. that was rude, I thought you were friends" an anonymous voice said right behind my back
I turned around and noticed that they were in a group. Well, I don't care.
I just passed by and ignored them
"Hey!"
I didn't talked back and a lady suddenly showed up and blocks my way
okay?
"You don't have any respect to us, do you?"
Ugh. not this again -.-
