1 The New Earth - Age of Mysticism - Mystical Era

In the year 2020, the world collapsed from a virus that spread throughout the world. The world also suffered from constant natural disasters like forest fires, earthquakes, and typhoons that almost sent several countries into the brink of economical bankruptcy, anarchy, and revolution against their government

In the month of November, the world started to decline and regress as government and companies began to not function properly due to the mental states of every people involved. Relationships are being torn, past mistakes are being dug, people's mental issues are showing up, corruption are being imminent, small conflicts become large conflicts that turns into small wars, and people began to lose care and attention to trivial things

The world is about to fall into the Darker Age

Christmas happened and people were not as happy as the previous years of Christmas and they only force themsleves to smile. Families are broken and friends are not connected

It was New Year's Eve and a lot of people are not looking forward to this new year, others are hoping that the year 2021 will be better than 2020 and others are expecting for the world to end tomorrow

No one actually expected something to happen the moment they entered new year's and only expected the usual that happen like the previous years, but this time was different...

The moment the Earth hit the point where it has completed its full revolution, the Earth released a massive burst of energy and shook

There were no earthquakes that happened when the Earth shook but this made all the inhabitants of Earth loose their consciousness

People fell asleep, no one was left awake, even all animals fell asleep, from insects, to bacteria, to birds, to fishes, to viruses

At this moment, all known and unknown sickness, diseases, disorders, and viruses were wiped out from the world

The Earth's reset button was pushed

No one died when every human being or creatures went to sleep. Moving vehicles miraculously slowed down and came to a halt and parked in uniform formation. Flying vehicles slowly fell straight down into the ground like a feather or into the sea without sinking

This was the day that the Earth stood still and this was the moment that the world entered its new age, its new era

After 24 hours, everyone in the world woke up. Everyone was confused as to what happened. They looked into the time on their phones and they found out that it has beem 24 hours since New Year's

Most of them went back to their work like nothing happened but they were confused. Rescue operations were conducted from stranded passengers of airplanes that landed in the middle of nowhere in land and in sea

Everything went to normal the next day but conspiracy theorists has made theories and scientists studied as to what happened but to no avail. News broadcasts was conducted regarding the event but there was nothing new that was found out in their interview segments

After a while, people began moving on and ignored the event as they deemed it not worth to give attention to since there has been zero information about it ever since

Except for only one person...

A 19-year old boy that lives in Quezon City in the country of Philippines, named Philip, believed that something happed in the day of New Year's

For several years, Philip believed that he had hidden powers and only he has powers in the world. He had the 8th grade syndrome, or being a Chuunibyou. Although he doesn't flat out reveal that he has powers openly to people, he chose to hide it, became quiet, and laid low and only revealed it to his close true friends that he made on the way

The minor powers that he believe that he possess are X-ray Vision, Night Vision, Bipolar Body, Supreme Sense of Measurement, Pain Denial, and Extreme Self-awareness

A few months before New Year's of 2021, Philip saw the future despite seeing millions of possible futures. He only saw two absolute futures that will change the world

The first one was the end of the world and it branched into two possibilities; Zombie Apocalypse and a Meteor Strike

The second one was the coming of the new age of the world. He didn't saw this future further in because it hurt his eyes but there was one thing that he was sure of that he saw, even for just a little bit, he saw the emergence of Magic

By seeing these futures, Philip contemplated whether he will choose the first future or the second one because he was too depressed in this world and wanted to end the world. A part of him also wants to give the world a chance after seeing the second future

After a few months of decision making, it was already the month of November, he decided to choose the second future. He then used his power of 『 Fate Control 』 to drive the fate of the world to the second future that he saw

After doing his usual Chuunibyou ritual, he finished changing fate and destiny. He doesn't know if he succeeded or not so he decided to wait until the moment 2021 drops

But then, Philip felt severe dread wash over him and he felt that his mind was regressing. He felt that everyone around him was not their usual self and everything doesn't seemed right

The atmosphere seemed heavy, the air seemed stagnant, the trees and plants became still, the light from the sun became a little bit dim, and clouds became darker. The world became gloomy yet normal people didn't realized this nor noticed it

He knew that this was the backlash after altering the fate of the world itself. He was not surprised that his power of 『 Fate Control 』 worked because it worked in the past when he altered fate on minor and small selfish desires. He just couldn't believe that it worked this effectively and the backlash immediately happened and it was obvious that only he can notice it. Usually there were no signs and it just happens

Although his mind was degrading, he retained his sanity due to his Emotion Manipulation and Pain Denial and he shut his emotions down and he became a walking robot that subconsciously did his usual daily activities

He was not able to use Future Vision or 『 Fate Control 』 this time around until the big day happens

When the big day came, he sat down in his room as he saw a future in the last minute that everyone will lose consciousness for the world to change itself drastically. He concentrated so that he won't lose consciousness and he wanted to see the world change

Unfortunately, he still lost consciousness...

Philip didn't see any obvious change from the atmosphere, air, ground, or in his body

He spent several days researching about news and searching through the internet in finding unusual happenings around the world but to no avail

After several uneventful months of researching, he took a rest and tried to use his Future Vision to see the difference and possible futures

When he entered his plane of time where he sees millions of branches of the future around him, he was surprised when he doesn't see any lines

He only sees one line that goes in a straight direction that doesn't branch out in the middle or end of it

He can determine the lines that are dictating someone or something's future after several years of looking in the future, but this line was undeterminable whether this is the future of the world or his future

He tried to peek on this future but he can't see anything, everything's blurry and extremely vague that he can't determine what he was seeing

After looking through the line, the future was laid before him and he concluded that this is the future in 10 years and he was puzzled when the line has stopped, like it was cut

He thought that it was the end of the world at that time but he didn't rush into conclusions, he was frustrated that he can't see the future and decided that he'll deal with it after 10 years and he continued his normal daily life

He went on for some unexpected adventures, but that's a story for another time

After several months, seven energy signatures were detected in different places of the world

The sources of the energy signatures are in the middle of China, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Egypt, Amazon, Carribean Sea, middle of Pacific Ocean, Vatican City, and central America

Scientists and researches studied these energy spots. They found nothing as their instruments were unable to measure these energy signatures

However, religious personalities such as monks, priests, shrine maidens, shamans, and the pope was able to identify these energy spots

The discovered energy was never been seen before as they identified it as mystical energies. Only bodies that can handle the mystical energies are able to control and manipulate it

This energies include three crucial parts, as researched by scientists and researchers that learned religious arts; Mana, Spirit, and Mystical Energy

Mana is the new law, under the Laws of Mysticism that was created, that exists as an elementary particle in the air and atmosphere several kilometers around the Mystical Hotspots

Spirit is a Law of Mysticism that exists as a raw material that were discovered deep underground within the Mystical Hotspots. These raw materials contain condensed energy that is worth an energy generator as a small rock and these Spirits number over millions in its source. It is also hypothesised that these Spirits can be condensed even further after some time absorbing Mystical Energies and contain more powerful renewable energy source like nuclear power plants or ten times of that

Mystical Energy is a Law of Mysticism that exists as the byproduct of Mana after activating and stimulating its properties to create the desired outcome. Mystical Energy is the same as Magic that is seen in anime and manga but the difference is that Mystical Energy is not limited to Magic's basic needs such as chanting, magic formulas, medium, or artifacts. Mystical Energies can be harnessed as long as Mana is present like Spirit Stones or the Mystical Hotspots

These mystical discoveries were hidden from the world for a few years. The governments of every countries that are involved did their best to cover it and they did a great job

The scientist and researchers took advantage of the Spirit Stones to create machines that made experiments more effecient. They are also able to create fictional items from movies and games with these small stones that contains energy within. The energy inside the stones doesn't overload existing circuits and it was found out that it corrects itself to provide the necessary amount to output. It is also a one way energy source as it is not needed to loop the circuit on the stone and it can power circuits linearly

The religious personalities took advantage of Mana and harnessed the Mystical Energies to empower their bodies, religious artifacts, religious structures, and their faith

The world has been devoloping extremely fast under the noses of the unsuspecting people that didn't know what's happening in the world

It is also found out that the scientists and researchers became smarter as their current effectiveness was 300% better than last year as the experiments were completed extremenly fast and scientific breakthroughs were being released left and right

The religious places that harnessed Mystical Energies showed change as they were filled with holy and divine energies that they received from their faith and connection with their deity that was amplified by Mana and Mystical Energy

This also lead to the start of cultivation of martial artists via the Spirit Stones and Mana in the atmosphere. People that managed to harness Mana and control the Spirits within their bodies can become powerful as a normal military army

It has already been a few years more and it was the year 2026

The discovery of Mystical Energy was leaked and was spread throughout the world extremely fast like wildfires that the governments, military, and professional programmers had a hard time to contain the information leak. Eventually, the information was circulated to everyone in the world through media and internet

The world went into turmoil after these discoveries went public as almost everyone couldn't believe that magic existed and was recently discovered in the world and everyone wants to do magic

The governments, militaries, and agencies was forced to give out an explanation and show the world of the more recent discoveries and fictional inventions that came to reality

Militaries around the world started to show everyone of their military strength that they acquired through research and experiments through media that was broadcasted worldwide

They have shown vehicles that are powered by blue energy that glows in the engine and around the chasis. These small vehicles and jeep became smaller and compact as combustion engines and pistons were removed because it was unneeded

Tanks was a little bigger as gray thick armor covered its whole body and blue energy swirls between the vertical nozzles. This nozzle is an energy powered canon that shoots energy blasts. The tracks of these tanks are covered but in reality, the tanks were floating and these are powered by the blue energy

Fighter jets went unnoticed because of its unusual overhaul. The people saw these vehicles but they did not know that these were jets. The military called these the Starjets as their designs became thin and incredible pointed. The cockpit and the jet engine are the only noticable and it shows the futuristic design that it seemed that it came from an alien civilization

These jets are equipped with small blasters that shoots blue energy blasts and blue energies that resembles missiles. The energy missile follow the target wherever it go and it can't miss unless it's intercepted

All the big countries has this newest and futuristic technologies and all of them showed it to the world, proud of their research and creation

This, however, earned the irk of the masses as they question why the government and military used this new found resource as weapons

A live feed was then shown as a drone flies above the skies of Ireland. As the drone flew through the thick clouds and went above the clouds, a majestic view was shown as the sunlight pierces the skies

What was shown are floating islands that surrounds larger islands and a giant floating island in the middle with a huge structure that resembles a floating kingdom

Under the floating islands are large blue stones that pulsates every so often. The blue stones are being held by a material that was never seen before. Flying objects are also seen around the islands that fly around to and from different islands

This scenery was straight out of a sci-fi film as big airships, that has the same design as the military vehicles, also emerged from the thick clouds beneath the islands carrying passengers

The live feed was then shown a mega structure in the middle of nowhere and the structure resembled a mountain and a rocket ship. The whole structure was powered by a giant blue rock in the middle of the structure

Rocket ships and space ships can be seen lifting off from the premises as each of the ships are also powered by blue energy. The lift off were fast and they went straight up rather than slanting to go into orbit

As the rocket ships has enter airspace and is not bound by the gravity of Earth, the rocket ships then transforms into satellites and carriages that can carry passengers for sightseeing and tourist spots. The blue stones are used as energy sources as clean nuclear reactors

At this moment, the military showed its separate division and world was shocked at what was shown

The big warehouses that was beside the military vehicles opened its doors and the ground rumbled as what sounds like machines started to leave the warehouses

What emerged from the doors were giant mechanized suits or mechs. These mechs had a large variety of designs and each of them are manned by a single person. Each mechs are also powered by the same blue energy and has an arsenal of weapons and utilities

Next in the live feed are the fleet in the sea. These ships were different from before as their sizes were enlarged. Aircraft carriers, battleships, destroyers, all of them had a power force that can level a huge city

Under the fleet, at the ocean floor, are futuristic machines that crawl the ocean floors. The purpose of these machines is to discover the entirety of the ocean and unlock its secrets. Submarines that are powered by the condensed blue stones and they have the ower to scan the oceans by several hundred of kilometers in radius

Finally, the live feed panned outside of the Earth as the world became smaller and smaller. The feed than landed on the surface of the Moon, civilization has been developed there as a big blue stone powers the entire town. Houses are made to accommodate humans, trees and plants seem to grow even in vacuum, and there's a large circular platform at the edge of the town

The live feed resumed towards the leaders of governments and they declared the rise of science and technology due to the new found blue stone resources

The government didn't publicized that Mana and Magic exists and didn't dwell on it further as they still try to hide it

Hearing this, the masses went to an uproar demanding explanation about magic and almost caused chaos

The chaos was contained due to the intervention of police and soldiers. Surprisingly, even the policemen and soldiers had futuristics suits and high tech guns than resembles energy blasters. The cores of their gun had a cartridge that is swirling inside. A few of the law enforcers had suits that enabled them to fly with ease

The masses had no choice but to stop causing chaos and follow the law as they realized that they can't do anything about their cutting edge technology. The chaos ended peacefully with no one having to get hurt or die

A few more years later, it's already the year 2028 and certain big cities has developed and advanced exponentially

Buildings has become taller and more stable, there are also structures that are impossible to build if it was 8 years ago as the structures seem to defy gravity. Apartments and condominiums were high tech and even appliances and small machines were extremely clean and efficient

Crimes were rapidly depleted and poverty are almost solved. Throughout these years, there has been no records of sicknesses or illnesses. Global warming and climate change can be controlled and manipulated with machines powered by Spirits and Mana

With these scientific and technological advancements, comes the emergence of organizations within the shadows

The Secret Organizations was built by seven different Fingers that govern a single group or entity. They are the ones that are responsible for controlling the spread of false information and leaks of secret information. Nothing can escape or go under their radar

They also handle the problems of different countries and factions and solve it to avoid conflicts that lead to escalating wars. This is the reason that there has been no conflicts throughout the years with no countries trying to steal or sabotage each other

The same time as the emergence of the Secret Organizations, the Religious State has revealed itself to the world

The Religious State contains eight religious points that makes the Council of Octagram and cultures and all of them harnesses Mana and Mystical Energy

They publicized that they possess magic throughout the world and the Secret Organizations agreed to this while the government and military despised them

Humans of the world was surprised with the demonstration as the Religious State had their religious domains doused with Mana and Mystical Energy that it gave the feeling of magnificence even through screens and monitors

They also demonstarted connecting their respective small religious domains throughout the world to the main religious domain like churches, shrines, temples, and altars

With this, the creation of Ley Lines has been erected in the atmosphere and Mana and Mystical Energy has been equally distributed throughout the world. Mana and Mystical Energy can now be harnessed by normal citizens, as long as they have the potential and power to do so

A year has passed several millions of individuals had the potential to manipulate Mana and Mystical Energies

Once a person has succesfully manipulated it, a certain device was created to detect people who did it

This was the creation of the Mystical Academy in the middle of China

The Mystical Academy is a giant school that can accomodate millions of students in one year. They teach and train students that managed to manipulate Mana and Mystical Energy throughout the world. They send out personnel to fetch these students from their homes and bring them to the academy

This procedure was welcomed by the masses and this was their dream. They wanted to enter the Mystical Academy and become a successful Mystical User when they graduate. The academy doesn't discriminate and accepts individuals of all age, gender, race, and orientation

The academy is built and the most powerful Mystical Hotspot in the world and can fully harness the Mana as a resource to help the students. Plants and herbs also grew around the academy that was never seen before and are of new species and genome. The academy called these the Mystical Plants and Magical Herbs as each of them possess an attribute or properties that can also be harnessed by using Mana

The Mystical Academy also has access to the Mystical Hotspot in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where the government and the Secret Organizations build a containment facility around it

In that hotspot, is where a portal appeared, and that portal spawn Mystical creatures and magical beasts. The body parts of these entities was found out to be very special and contains materials and elements that has never seen before. Rumors has it that this portal came from a different world, but no one was brave enough to enter the portal, even with cutting edge technology

The portal was deemed as top secret by the Secret Organizations and contained it so that information won't be leaked to the world as it was dangerous

A few months later, the Mystical Academy has been boisterous as hundreds of thousands of students has already been enrolled and each of them has a unique and different way to manipulate Mana and harness it through Mystical Energy

At this point, the Secret Organizations announced the making of the [Four Pillars] that will hold the world through generations of generations in the future

The Sci-Tech Division which governs the scientific and technological aspects, Religious State which governs the the religious states and beliefs of the world, Secret Organizations which governs the secret and hidden aspect of the world, and Mystical Academy that nurtures Mystical Users around the world

With the erection of the Four Pillars, the world was once again went into a drastic change since the pillars has deemed the world to be too divided and they want to unite sections of the world

The world was united and split into four great continents; Great Continent of Asia, Great Knights Continent, Great Desert Continent, and Great Continent of America

Each of the great continents has different territories that separates their culture and aspects from the rest

With this, it has almost been 10 years and the world did change

The world has advance extremely rapidly in just 10 years. Who would have known that the fate of the Earth had turned out this way?

There was a certain individual that knew what happened from the start. Throughout the years, he gained experience through his adventures around the world, he became successful after studying certain aspects, he also became a master of the sword. He was about to make another scientific breakthrough and show it to the world

His name is Philip, an adventurer (is he?), a scientist (is he?), a swordsman, and an inventor (is he?). The one who changed the world with his "power" that was supposed to be inexistent
