5 Chapter 5: A Name

Hazuki, Izumi, and I were currently at the head of the family's house.

Izumi had seated me on her lap and as I looked up, I saw the boss of the Uchihas and the parents of the ultimate cheat characters, Fugaku Uchiha and Mikoto Uchiha.

The boss was sitting on the tatami floor, staring at us with his sharp eyes, which held hidden the guilt towards us.

On the other hand, the mother of the two brothers seemed to be a gentle and friendly woman. When she noticed me looking at her, she turned towards me and formed a smile.

As I saw the two of them, I could only think, 'It seems like the two brothers inherited more from their father.' Like him, Itachi and Sasuke also had a strong sense of responsibility towards the clan. Everyone wanted to do something for their clan in their own way, but all failed miserably.

The two of them also have their father's eyes, possessing sharp eyes that can pierce through someone. In contrast, their mother Mikoto had much softer and slightly larger eyes, which gave one the feeling of being protected.

'If...if only Fugaku, Itachi, and Sasuke would work together, would their fate maybe change?…', I pondered a little, 'No, in the end, nothing would change. There are too many things against the Uchihas.'

I mean, the actual history and events of the founding of the Uchihas started on the wrong foot. The problem, the hatred, was already too deep to be carefully brought out with the so-called power of friendship or Talk no Jutsu here in Naruto.

'Maybe the Uchihas are meant to be destroyed to rise like a phoenix from their ashes, but at the moment, the Uchihas are too weak...not just them, but also me too. All I can do is make unnecessary thoughts here instead of taking actions.'

I finished my thoughts, but I couldn't stop this unchangeable event from dampening my mood.

Izumi noticed my face becoming sad and put her arms around me as if trying to hug me.

Touched by her gesture, I put my little chubby hands on her arms and pushed this problem aside, focusing more on the reason why we gathered here.

The reason for our gathering today is due to the responsibility of this adorable chubby baby, yes that's me.

Soon, Fugaku started to talk, "Is this the child you decided to raise, Hazuki?" he said, looking at me with his hawk eyes.

'Whoa, how scary. Any other baby would have cried in this situation,' I thought to myself, but I raised my head and squinted my eyes a little to glare right back at him.

Unexpectedly, Fugaku was hit by his own glare and his lips started to twitch as he tried to suppress his laughter. The others who saw this showdown also started laughing, and the small gloomy mood changed a bit and became a bit brighter.

Smiling, Hazuki took me from her daughter's lap and placed me on her own lap. She began to stroke my hair, and I rested my head on her glorious cushion and enjoyed the view.

In my peripheral vision, I saw Izumi pouting and her eyes becoming watery. Her mother noticed and smirked at her.

'It's been a few days since the attack, and this is how it's been the whole time. One of the two of them is always present, trying to spend more time with me like a little competition. I feel sorry for Izumi, but at the moment, her mother is winning by a landslide in terms of body volume,' I thought to myself as I made myself comfortable on my throne and closed my eyes.

The conversation between Fugaku and Hazuki began. It started with individual complaints as Hazuki and her two children returned to the Uchiha quarter. Some people didn't like the fact that a non-Uchiha was living among them, even if it was just a child.

Fugaku and Mikoto apologized for this and informed them that they could do nothing about it.

Indirectly accused of being responsible for the Nine-Tail Attack, the Uchihas began to mistrust the Senju-related government.

Taking in a non-Uchiha child at this moment would only further anger the already agitated people.

'If that happens, I will soon lose control, and the Uchihas will effectively run amok,' thought Fugaku.

He knows that this is all just a matter of time, but he cannot allow the Uchihas to become active now. Therefore, he has no choice but to take action here to maintain the status quo of the Uchihas.

As in any large clan, outsiders are not welcome in the clans except for the Senju Clan. They operate an open culture, and therefore, they have multiplied like rabbits. Other clans, however, only want their secret techniques to remain within the family.

'For the sake of the Uchihas, he must remove Hazuki's family from the Uchiha quarter,' Fugaku decided and informed them.

Hazuki closed her eyes and opened them briefly, smiling slightly towards the family head. "I understand the clan's stance and I accept it."

That was also the reason why Hazuki moved out of the Uchiha quarter in the past and lived in the village. "But if we can't live in the Uchiha clan, then we'll live in Konoha."

Izumi stood up and supported her mother. "Yes, we can live anywhere if it means we can live together with him," she said with a bright smile.

Hazuki turned to her daughter. "Thank you for your support, Izumi. Indeed, it doesn't matter if we live here or there, as long as we have a place where we can live undisturbed," she said while hugging the little one deeper, who was almost lost between her breasts.

Mikoto looked worriedly at her husband. "Can't we do something here? Living as an Uchiha in Konoha itself will be prevented by the Elders."

"I too would like to do something here. You surely know that there is currently great unrest between the Council and the Uchiha. The people here cannot trust Konoha at the moment," Fugaku shook his head

Mikoto couldn't help but cast her gaze downward to the little one in front of her. Worry and guilt were clearly written in her eyes.

However, Fugaku coughed at that moment to get everyone's attention.

"There is no reason to be down. Someone will come soon with whom we can solve the problem," he said, and everyone looked confused at his answer.

'If it's him, he will surely be able to find a solution. He is still friendly towards the Uchihas within the Council,' he thought.

Although Fugaku presents himself as a cold leader, he cares deeply for his fellow Uchihas, and that's why he can't leave them alone.

*Tik Tok*

We heard the ringing in the house.

Mikoto was about to ask her husband, "Dear, is he…"

"Yes, he is the one who will create a solution with us," he continued his wife's words.

He opened the door, and everyone present in the room was surprised by the person who walked through the door. They stood up startled and respectfully greeted the person.

"Welcome, Hokage-sama."

"Hoho, today I'm here more as an old man than as Hokage, so feel free to be comfortable," said the Hokage with his friendly laugh.

Although the Hokage said this, no one in the room except the two children could take his words seriously. They understood very clearly that Fugaku had asked the Hokage for help.

Izumi, however, looked a bit confused and tilted her head. She recognized the person in front of her, but didn't know what to do next. Only the younger of the two stared at the Hokage with a thoughtful look.

With the Hokage's appearance, a solution was quickly found. Since there was mistrust within both parties, it was agreed that a place outside the Uchiha district would be given to the Hazuki family, which was also one of the few places in Konoha that was not fully occupied. This allowed both parties to compromise, and Hazuki was satisfied with it.

And so the discussion ended.

***

Fortunately, the decision ended without any major problems and we could finally look for a place to live permanently.

'However, it depresses me that Hazuki and Izumi have to live a little isolated from the Uchihas and the central area of Konoha... but in reality, it's better this way. It would have been even better if we could live directly in Konoha, but leaving the Uchiha district is good enough.'

In this world where only I know the future, I know what to expect and the dangers associated with the Uchiha district. However, Hazuki doesn't know this, and the fact that she still made the decision for me deeply touches me.

'I will repay the happiness that I have taken away from them with 10 - no, 1000 times more in the future,' I gave myself an oath. I swear I will bet my life on it.

'We have finally found a place to stay, and I should slowly start planning how to survive in this world with my loved ones.' My gears in my body started to run at full speed, trying to remember all the important events, when I suddenly got interrupted.

"Whoa?!," I let out a wild scream and saw that the Hokage had picked me up in his arms.

"Haha, i'm sorry did this old man scared you," he brought me up to eye level and apologized.

'Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage... the kind old man who loves the village above all and is praised by many as one of the best Kages... but also often criticized by fans for some of his mistakes.'

I raised my hand and moved it towards his face. His eyes lit up, and he brought his face closer to me.

I touched his beard and tried to rip it off!

"Ouch, ouch, ouch!"

If I had to describe him in one sentence, it would be ‚'a kind leader, but not the best one,' I thought as I still tried to pull his beard off.

Panic-stricken, Hazuki approached and took me back into her arms.

"Ah, sorry Hokage-sama, the little one doesn't usually do things like this," she bowed her head lightly.

'Mwahaha, that's the innocence of a child, eat it,' I giggled as I allowed myself a little prank. 'Haa pranks without responsibilities are the best. If I were an adult and the Kage were not Hiruzen, I would have already died 10 times.'

Contrary to what she had thought, the Hokage was not angry, but on the contrary, he took the whole thing calmly. "It's normal for children to be curious," he said while stroking his deformed beard.

"What is his name, by the way?" he asked after wondering about it.

'My name?' I tilted my head. 'Ah, that's right. I don't have a name in this world or, moreover, I can't remember it.'

Hazuki flinched slightly and scratched her reddened cheek. "To be honest, due to the whole situation, we haven't been able to give him a name," she admitted shyly.

I felt her hands warming up and starting to sweat a little. It looked like she had forgotten and didn't want to admit it to the Hokage.

"Then you should give him a name soon. It would be sad if the child didn't have a name," advised the Hokage kindly.

'A name...I would like to take my previous name, but I can't even pronounce it with my toothless mouth. I'm curious about what name she will give me. Hopefully, it will be a normal name,' I thought, raising my head to look at her.

However, an idea didn't come from her, but from someone else.

"Mom!" Izumi raised her hand and said vigorously, "I've been thinking about a suitable name for the past few days."

"Oh, you already have a name for him? What is it?" asked her mom. I was also curious about her answer.

Izumi smiled brightly. "His name will be Haruto. Haruto means star, and he is like a star to me."

"Haruto"

Hazuki and I murmured the word. I liked the name.

"Wa wa wa," I showed my approval by starting to laugh.

"Oh, Haruto, do you already like your new name? Hehe, I know it," Izumi took me and soon started to dance in circles.

"Haruto is a good name," said her mother. "Since he can't bear the name Uchiha, he will inherit my husband's family name."

"Amakawa Haruto"

"Amakawa for heavenly river and Haruto for star. Together it will be 'a star shining brightly in the heavenly river.' Mmh, it's a nice name."

"From now on, that will be your name," she said to me and smiled with a nostalgic expression

'Amakawa Haruto,' that will be my new name. I clenched my fist a few times and repeated my new name in my head a few times.

The other people present could only laugh at this little family. It was really a beautiful moment to welcome the arrival of a new child into this world.
