1 “Beyond your Imagination”

The great beyond shined the sun on a dehydrated day where the ground stings for hours. The floor begins to shift him in a sorted direction. It shines, obliterating his uncovered eyes as it leads him to the unknown. Pure light circulates the room. Nothing but unauthorized melted snow filled the floor. With trees showing a clear path to a beautiful city.

She throws the coins hoping for "the perfect boyfriend." Seeing the result, she walks away from the wishing well, as slouching was the correct posture for how she felt. Walking out of the Central Park garden with scratches from the rose bush. Having the strange Bulldog go psycho in her appearance.

The silence blows throughout the defenestration.

As the noise of a horn echoes within the flimsy walls. Not giving her much surprise, it was sooner or later her stepfather was going to be approaching up the sleek wooden stairs. She stared at him with a careless expression. He looked back at her with a sarcastic smile as he screamed for her mother's attention. With her mother paying no attention to the grand entrance rooms, all three connected rooms. Giving her bed a stolen pillow from the newborn's room, attempting a switch-a-woo, even though he cherished her baby brother deeply. Even if so, he was partly created by a devilish man in their household.

An hour later, her name was called by a unnecessary volume, "Lai, dinner?!" Knowing she'd have to join them for dinner one day in life, she followed the ear-bleeding voice climbing up the stairs. Pure silence swallowed the room as she proceeded to grab a stool and espouse the rest. The two love birds continued their despicable conversation as Lai distracted herself by convincing Denis to eat his greens. The room filled with gestures of Lai entertaining Denis, but laughing became more choke-while. A huge smack on the plastic of Denis did the trick. Meanwhile, a plate of smashed peas splattered across the side of the table with the results of a pea-covered man staring into Lai's eyes.

Denis giggled even more because of his appearance in the face. Lai tried to escape her upcoming punishment. She put Denis'pea-filled body on the table, praying he'd distract him for a great amount of time. He continues smashing his face with endless peas in circular motion from mom's plate. Lifting from his seat with range and peas in his eye with a terrifying approach to the stairs with her mother trying to stop him. Shoving her back into her cushioned seat. His footsteps echoed through the paper-thin walls with a "BANG BANG BANG!!" When her bedroom door broke with no response, he broke the door. Seeing a crystal clear room from clothes to blankets and from blankets to artifacts. And dust from where a picture frame used to be next to an open window with snow blowing wind.

She kvetched as she felt a blister on her left ankle escaping home. Knowing no friends or strangers will make her no stranger at the time. Undertaking the challenge of sleeping in the city park, she proceeded justly to place the Hello kitty tent onto a lumpy grassy hill where the ants' hills are at least 4 feet away. Using her laggy, half's battered Nintendo for entertainment and using her stepfather's brown leathery coat as an extra pillow for her revenge.

Cold fingers brushed against her cheek as an arm gripped her tightly around her waist. Her hair tickled her neck, realizing that her hair included fifteen bobby-pins stabbed and gelled into a perfect messy bun for the past two days. She screamed within seconds of her discovery. A handsome young man rose up from the pillow, "saying good morning," he said flirtatiously. She throws the picture of her father straight for the forehead. Letting him collapse inside of the tent as she makes a run for it. An unexpected force pulled her to the bare grass. She grips the icy cold grass without realizing grass was probably one of the worst ideas she ever had ever made. The boy appeared once again but holding her legs with a strange expression. She kicked more rapidly than screaming to let her go, but he didn't make any movement other than dodge her kicks. Pulling her closer, he lands on top of her, meeting eye to eye.

Space barely remained between the two. Leading them closer towards each other until the deep sound of a man clearing interrupted the glazing of one another's eyes. The sheriff stared out the face of disapproval from the view he was given.

"Got anything to say for yourself," said the sheriff. "Please don't put this on my record," said Lai as she pushed the boy and begged on her knees. Seeing that she confessed, he looked beyond her pleading to see the boy's dark eyes wondering with sorrow and regret.

"You two are coming with me to the station,"he said, breaking the silence. Not knowing, the boy follows Lai's movements as they proceed into the car. People started surrounding the car with gossip.

They both sat in the heavily silent room waiting for answers. Ticking the clock apprehends the situation even more with the question of home address. He asked Lai about the address. She said, Cleavage Avenue, that's all, with unnoticeable fear in her voice. Next was his turn. He looked at him, adding a long, gloomy attitude without making eye contact, just dropped off at "Fred's Buffet" right around the corner. The office went quiet because of him's answer. The sheriff tried to reason, but his answer didn't change. Drooping his head back down, analyzing his weirdly marked tattoos on his upper arm.

He was the first to get dropped off, not saying another word as he left. Staring at that window she, a boy with a story to tell and wavy brown hair that always landed perfectly in place. She still thought of him. She drove to her original destination, which was called "her second home."
