"ROAAAAAAAAAAR!" Fang in his Basilisk form, released a defeating race.

Below him was the corpse of a giant centipede, it was the strongest beast he killed.

He had many light injuries on his body, but none threatend his life.

"Yes!!"..."Yeah!!!" cheered the warriors.

"Thud"..."Thud" Fang in his Basilisk form walked to a lake.

"Hssss, not bad!" said Fang as he saw his reflection on the water, from his original 13 meters (40 feet) he has grown to a 14-meter (45 feet) long Basilisk.

The Basilisk is a Mythical creature that was said to be "the King of serpents" It was a very large four-legged snake.

Large dark-blue scales decorated it's back, and The underside of its body was pale blue, it had Four powerful limbs with razor sharp claws, supporting its serpentine body, its head was so large it can devour a human being in one bite,

It had a pair of bone-chilling golden eyes and a mouth full of swords like teeth.

Its greatest weapons are, The ability to release poison in liquid(Spit), gas(Cloud) and even solid(Spear) form, and with the Petrifying Gaze, it can turn objects and living beings into stone by a mere gaze. But the target has to keep eye contact. The stronger the target, the slower the process.

(Author: Currently, Fang needs an hour of eye contact to turn a Yonko or an Admiral into stone, and if the target breaks eye contact, the process stops immediately)

"My king! we need to leave before the king of the forest shows up!" said a giant warrior.

"Hmph! let's leave for now" Fang snorted.

The King of the forest was the name of the strongest beast who controls a third of the island.

The centipede Fang just killed was one of its generals.

Inside a camp built by Fang and his group.

"Haaaaa!" a warrior swung a wooden sword.

*Clank*

Another warrior blocked the sword strike and kicked his foe.

*Thud!*

This was how Fang and his group killed time.

"My king, the mad Lion is on the move," said a female warrior.

After killing most of his generals, the king of the forest, was extremely furious, killing anyone he deemed suspicious, earning himself the title of "The Mad lion" by Fang and his group.

"Everyone, listen!" Fang patted his pet snake Shiro and said

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Fang.

Fang was the smallest in the group, but nobody dared to disrespect or even look at him in the wrong way, his status as the King was unquestionable, while his strength and leadership were beyond their imagination.

He saved them countless times, and he trained and guided them every day, he was their King and Idol, whom they will die for if they ever got the chance.

"Today, is where we finally show the mad lion, who is the true king of the forest!" yelled Fang.

Inside a deep valley, two giant creatures were facing each other.

*Roaaar!*

A giant lion was looking with hate at the serpentine creature before it.

"Hsssss"

Fang in his Basilisk firm opened his mouth and exhaled a cloud of purple gas.

*Fffffff!*

Fang disappeared inside the poisonous cloud.

The mad lion was very cautious against this purple, he didn't want to go near it.

*Roaaar!*

*spoot*

Suddenly a mass of purple liquid was shot from within the poison cloud, before transforming into a solid spear-like object.

*Woosh!*

The mad lion was caught off-guard for a moment, but he reacted and dodged the purple spear.

*ROAAAAR!* the mad lion was enraged, he held his breath and dashed through the poison cloud.

*...!!* But he couldn't find the lizard anywhere.

*Roaaaaaaaaaaaaar!* thinking that the lizard escaped, the mad lion let out a victorious roar, but suddenly...

*Chomp!* Suddenly the lion felt an incredible pain on it back.

The mad lion was shocked he didn't know how the lizard disappeared and appeared behind him like that.

*Roaaar* he tried to bite back his attacker, but to the mad lion's surprise the lizard disappeared right before his eyes.

"Looking for me?" asked Fang

The made lion looked to the ground and saw a human, he was confused.

Suddenly Fang transformed back to his basilisk form.

"Hssssss, what's the matter? hehehehe!" said Fang.

*ROAAaaaaar...!* The mad lion was feeling weak, he raored weakly before falling to the ground.

"Hssss!,finished already?" said Fang in his basilisk form.

"My king! we killed the giant crocodile!" Seeing the dying mad lion a warrior finally showed himself and said respectfully.

"Hsssss, casualties?" Fang looked at the warrior and said.

"*Gulp!* N-none," he said nervously.

"Good, you can go now," said Fang before transforming into his human form.

"Yes, my King!" said the warrior before running away.

"'So, how about a deal?" Fang asked the mad lion.

-2 months later

"Aaaaah!! no matter how much I try, Haki just won't awaken!!" Fang was .frustrated, he had Haoshoku Haki the rarest of the three, but he couldn't awaken the other two, no matter what.

"I need a teacher! but who? Silver Rayleigh? only God knows what's inside that old man's head, I don't know if he will accept me even without the will of D" Fang said to himself.

*Hssss* hisses Shiro.

"Do you knew haki?" asked Fang

*Hsssss?*

"No, Haki can't be eaten," said Fang in disappointment.

*Hissss!*

"I'm hungry too, let's go" said Fang.

"We've been here for 12 months, my King," said a warrior.

"Finally!" Fang raised his arm to the air and said excitedly.

*Hissss!* Shiro raised his tail to the sky and hissed happily.
