CHAPTER ONE

"Emiliana you don't go out. How surprising. I always tell you not to associate with us and end up embarrassing yourself. I wonder what your brothers do, they are supposed to take you out" Maya, her classmate said." No, it's my choice to stay at home because I do wish to avoid trouble" Emiliana lied to protect herself from humiliation." Oh I see if it was your choice then why don't you know your friend's home? Maya asked. "Why do you have to bring up this issue. I'm just..." Emiliana could not finish speaking, she just ran out of the school cafeteria. "Cry baby" Maribel one of her classmates said after her.

Emiliana came back home feeling under the weather. The last thing she wants right now is her parents disturbance. Despite the fact that her parents are rich, her father is still much more greedy. "Welcome dear, how was your day? Becky Emiliana's mom said distracting her train of thoughts. She ignored her mother and was going upstairs." Are you deaf? Becky questioned. "Mom I am fine and my day was horrible, thanks to you and dad" Emiliana said. "I just asked how you are what is wrong with that, you are my daughter after all" Becky said. "Mom, which daughter are you talking about? Emiliana asked " It's you of course Liana" Becky said" Quit calling me your daughter, if I was your daughter, my happiness would have mattered to you but instead you chose to isolate me. Please mom for how long will I continue like this? Emiliana said. "Emiliana you have money that can and will make you happy. What else do you want" Becky said "Wow mom, to you money is everything and that's because you are not in my position" Emiliana said almost at the verge of tears "Quit yelling. When did I mention that money is everything and for you being home always is to protect you" Becky said "Mom what you are saying means money is everything" Emiliana said "Emiliana use what you have to get what you want" Becky said "I wish it will work" Emiliana said "Go to your room right now Emiliana before I loose it " Becky said "Mom just accept the fact that you are a horrible mother" Emiliana said and Becky gave her a slap "No matter what you do, you are still a bad mother" Emiliana said. "What's happening here? Mr David Emiliana's dad asked" How can you insult your mom like that? David asked "You've seen nothing dad even you are a bad father, how can Jack and Tristan be living and going out freely while I can't? If you want the former Emiliana back, you have to allow me go out" Emiliana said." If I am a bad mother, quit calling me mom" Becky said" Same here" David said " Good then, I have been expecting this" Emiliana said and went to her room." Just allow her go out please, i am tired of seeing this child like this" Becky said " On no circumstance should I see or hear that you allow her go out or else you will face my wrath" David said and left the sitting room." Something is wrong and I need to find out why David doesn't allow Liana go out" Becky thought and left the sitting room also.
