1 Intro

"Try and keep up" this is what sam heared his whole life. He had always been on the losing side of everything, every fight, every race. The one thing he wasn't was dumb. He wasn't a scholar or anything but his decision making and judgment skills where always great. Other than that he was always to weak or to slow to win.

"Heaven's what happened" Sam was African American but his step-mom was one of those religous white ladies you whould always see at church. She always hovered over him and with good reason especially when he came home with a black eye. "Who did this!" Sam's step-mom asked "nobody" Sam hesitantly responded.

Sam walked to his room and closed the door. His dream was vague but somewhat alarming. He could only see a dark figure circling him than it stood before him. Then he woke up terrified the figure was like nothing he had ever seen before. It was an black and grey three foot lizard with razor sharp teeth.

He then got ready for school and was out the house. He was on his way to school when a drunk driver crashed right into him. when he woke up he was in the hospital. when he saw all of his family members crying and saying goodbye he knew. HE WAS GOING TO DIE.

He accepted this. He didn't live a bad life but when he learned he was going to die and accepted it he was confused and concerned. Deep down was he suicidal ... maybe... but he accepted death.

So when he died and woke up again he was confused. he wasn't in the hopital but in a large grass field. This made Sam question what happened. "Hello" Sam said, nobody responded. Sam started walking and he could see something in the distance but couldn't make it out. When he got closer he saw that it was the figure from his dream. Sam ran away but to no avail the lizard caught up to him with great speed. [It stands on its hind legs and it's joints work like humans and that is what makes it so weird.] It then stoped in front if him and said "do you want to be my familiar" Sam responded with "WHAT THE F*CK! what is a familiar and how can you talk."

"A familiar us is an being of which you have made a spiritual connection with. I can talk because I am a P.F.A. a potential familiar animal. All P.F.A's are capable of speach, we lose this when we become familiars and communicate with the person who connected with us through telepathy." "What will happen to me if I become your familiar" Sam said. "You will gain some of my attributes and will also gain the familiar cultivation system. You will gain points in the system by task me and you do. You can than spend those point to upgrade yourself. I will also grow when you gain points." "And if I don't"."You will be immortal but will remain in this area." "Is there anywhere else." "This is a place for me to meet you in phisical form." "My world is much larger and much more abundant in life. In this world me and you are the only inhabitants." "How do become my familiar." The next moment Sam was teleported to a new place. Non-phisical text appered infont of him (You have acquired the familiar cultivation system) Sam was both shocked and excited. "So what do I do now". (current task available: kill small organisms such as plant, and insects. You will earn 1 point per kill.) Sam went over to the nearest flower and plucked it (+1) he repeated this about fifty times and then asked the system how can i use these points. Then a menu appeared before him and there some stats

The first four made sense but the last one was weird he looked at and was thinking what it might do. Then something happened

When that happened he felt his teeth get slightly sharper. He saw he nails turn a shiny black and become a half inch longer and very sharp. "so these are the abilities." Sam decided to distibute the rest of the points between strength, speed, and agility.

He could feel the power surging through him after that he continued to pick plants and kill bugs until he was at about 200 points then he asked "where is the lizard" all of the sudden the lizad showed up and said "Instead of s

calling me lizard why don't you give me a name" Sam said "I'll call you Shadow. Is that good?" "yes my name from now on is shadow." With that settled Sam and shadow until at a little over 1,000 points. At this point shadow height was about at Sam's chest. Then Sam stoped to disribute to points

When Sam heard this he was really excited. He couldn't wait to see the skills that he could purchase. Than a small menu poped up.
