The Wish 01

I've always loved the stars ever since I was a little girl. They have always been there for me in times of need, which explains why I'm on a bench at two in the morning. My gaze is turned upward connecting the small specks together, hoping they maybe they with give me answers. Sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Cleo and I'm 20 years old trying to pay off my student loans. Which is now going to be even harder because I was laid off my job today. It's not that bad though, I didn't even enjoy it. My old job was just a normal boring one where we all sit on computers and answer phone calls. The real thing I want to be is an photographer, but my parents didn't approved. The stars are what keep me in check. I like to think that they are my family up there, but there's only one star they ever really catches my attention. It's a bright white one that I call Starburst, after my favorite candy. He's the one I talk to the most as crazy as it sounds. So that's why I'm here tonight, to talk to my star. He's the only one who'll ever listen to me anyways. I just wish that you were a real person to be by my side. I don't know if my wish was answered because as I looked back up to Starburst he fell, then everything turned white.
