26 Wolf of the underworld Part 1

Hei Long woke up from his deep slumber, his eyes glowed alight, and his mind thought of peace and serenity. He scanned the dungeon and found Lily covered like a piece of light. It looked like an egg. He picked the egg and looked for the exit of the dungeon. It seemed that what happened to him was a dream, but he knew deep inside that it was no dream. Hope came for him from his old world. Hei Long did not know why nor how. Hope came with someone very familiar to Hei Long. Hei Long thought that that person had already died in the storm when he was younger, but he was there to help him one last time as he did to that person when he was in dire need of help. That person told him that he was just returning favors. "I'm not really sure what going on here," Hei Long said. "Everything seemed magical to be true for me. However, I know everything that happened to far has been real. But I assure you that I will do everything with whatever I can to get you to a safe place, Lily. Far from this wretched place." Hei Long hugged the egg close to him, which Lily was encapsulated. He made sure she would not feel lonely and protected her from harm. He did not notice it. However, the material the egg was made out of seemed to be strong and sturdy. Hei Long tried to squeeze it earlier to test its sturdiness, and he was shocked by its sturdiness. It was simply out of this world. It was just too hard for him to make a small crack on it, which was a good thing by the way. Soon, After making sure that everything was alright, he hid it behind him, he knew that the monsters and wolves of the underworld's target were him, which was still a good thing. He didn't want to fight, knowing that it would put Lily in harm's way. He started fighting monster after monster, and the seeds of light went direct to him. His eyes were glowing alight as he kept on defeating monsters after monsters but they seemed all over all the place. They were simply endless. He did not know that the monsters came to that place because of the energy that he emitted prior to his semi-evolution. They were driven by the thought of eating him and evolving themselves. The more power the beast got the more control they would have over their pack. That's why they went after him. To their eyes, Hei Long looked like a plump of golden and greenish energy. It was so enticing that their eyes were blood-shot red, and their saliva dripping from their mouths. < You gained strength +1> The beasts had red eyes, and snarled like the beast they were, unafraid and savage just like their very existence. They were true to their very name, beasts of destruction. They were beasts trapped inside the dungeon from the day they were born. They are unlike the monster where the giant Tree was present. They were different they were always savage and ready to ravage anything on their way and path. Hunger was their enemy, and every time they spotted a weak and seemly delicious meal they fight it and after that, they'd kill one another. Only the strongest would be left to feed the carcass. Right in front of Hei Long were wolf-like creatures, Hei Long wasn't born yesterday so he knew what wolves would look like. But after coming to this, his thought and his knowledge about the beast was changed. This place was very different from his own. The wolves, back in his world, were big. However, the ones that he was facing were humongous the smaller ones probably stood 1.5 meters tall from their toe to shoulder, with razor-sharp teeth. Their muscles were those of the water buffalo of his world. It would unwise to make an enemy out of them. Well, in his case, he didn't really have much of a choice. Those things were hungry as their mouth dripped with saliva. "Come on now! Earlier it was oversize cow, and now this? Who the heck made these things, or beast…" Hei Long spat at the ground, excitement and fury ever-present in his eyes. There were too many of them for him to count. "Gifts of the God—God Strength!" Energy surged to his body as he muscled bulged with strength from the buff from the skill of God Strength. He channel the energy to his legs ran straight at him. The beast didn't wait and charged straight at him with their maws wide open. One beast tried to bite him in his head, but Hei Long was faster and stronger. He slapped the beast and it was sent flying at its pack of wolves. The wolved looked at the man and growled right before charging again. Hei Long barely evaded one of them, and punch the lower jaw of the beast before ripping it apart. Hei Long shower in their blood as his bloodlust gradually took over him. After killing one of the wolves of the pack he received another message, and it seemed that the world gradually slowed down before coming to a halt. It wasn't the first time that he experience this kind of feeling, and it won't be the last, or so Hei Long thought. The adrenaline rush surged into his brain as he kept on fighting the wolf pack one after the other. "Ahhhh, I am strong! This is the power that I want!" A beast lunged straight at him swiping its gigantic sharp claw at his body, he evaded it with ease but the residual power of the swipe scratched his body. However, he didn't care. It was a do-or-die situation and he was well aware that this was the life that he always wanted to live. The excitement was overwhelming he wished that this fight to never stop. Beast after beast and wolf after the wolf was sent flying just before reaching him. His punches were like cannonballs released from their cannons. It was simply powerful, but the beast was just sturdier than he thought. They would be sent flying and crashing down from his attacks, but they were not far from normal as they would stand up and shake their heads from being dizzy after getting hit. After that, they would be back at it like nothing ever happened. They were simply monsters of their on their caliber. After a few minutes of the fight, as sturdy as their bodies were, one of them eventually fell from Hei Long attack. Blood was drawn and spread across the floor as the first wolf of destruction fell to its demise. After its death, another seed of light came straight at Hei Long. He wasn't able to do it. It was always like that from the very first day that we were transported to this world. Seeds made of light energy would be rushed to his body and made him stronger. The first seed of light that got made him feel like a god, not a good god, but a god of destruction. " After hearing those words, he simply went back to fight. "So the gods were the ones who sent me here? But why?" He thought to himself. "And what is with these reward and penalty." Hei Long was confused from the very beginning. The first thing that he didn't do when he arrived and woke up in this world was to fight. If he didn't fight he would have died long ago. Thank Shadow and his experience from fighting all the time in his world, including hunting. He was able to develop a sense of fighting. The fight was normal back in his world, but it was fighting with and against people. Back then and there, Hei Long didn't really have much of a chance to fight against these types of beasts or abominations. They were too rare of a find that they were only kept as and called mythical creatures.
