36 Glimpse

In dead of the night, Bai's eyes shown to the light of the moon looking at the woman that laid beside him. Bai stretched his hand indulging his slick fingers in gliding through her hair slowly as her silk like strands fell into place softly.

Kazumi...

His female...

A soft expression surfaced on his face, the mark on his chest was that of a flower he had never seen before.

"What kind of flower... is this?"

It was the same as that annoying Dragonkins'.

The thought of him made him miffed to the point of wanting to bash his face, yes he was good looking, but so what he was no second to him. And most importantly he got to snuggle in bed with Kazumi.

Just when Bai was making his plans to annoy Toshiro, Kazumi let out a grunt "mmnh" after which she snuggled closer to his chest looking for warmth.

Faintly whispering "Are you cold?"

Bai pulled the blanket on her, it was then that on her face appeared a sweet smile revealing that she was content.

She had hid her wings but he could still sense the fragrance that her wings released just thinking of it made him flustered "Calm down... calm down"

"Creek" the sound of someone approaching caught his attention, revealing a murderous glare towards the direction the sound came from.

He stared at Bai in a condescending manner

Words filled with anger and sarcasm escaped his lips " Did you have fun?"

Bai felt Toshiro's blood thirst, he was pissed but he did not have the heart to yank Bai out of the bed fearing to awake Kazumi

"I am now her partner as well" Bai said lifting one of his eyebrows.

Toshiro tighten his fists to the point of turning his knuckles white.

Bai stuck his tongue out at Toshiro making the latter grit his teeth. Bai made a smug face "What do you want lizard"

Toshiro's vein began to pop on his forehead.

"I came to see my mate, can't I?" He lifted one of his brows gazing at Bai with a condescending manner.

"... why are you here" Bai felt that his reason for coming to Kazumi's place wasn't as simple, he knew that Toshiro would come to see her at the back of the mountain, with this in mind why would he come at this time.

Bai didn't think it was to prevent him mating with Kazumi if so he would have attacked earlier. Not that males were permitted to intervene.
