"I have never seen wings like those, how mesmerizing" The figure flew off to somewhere unknown.

Kazumi and Bai made their way into the village territory only to be greeted by Qui Tou and Li Yong who showed unhappy faces

"Where did you go to?" the first into voice out was Li Yong

Bai shrunk his head back

"We have gone hunting, is there anything wrong?" given Bai's reaction she knew that he'd get into trouble for taking her out. Lifting her brow, Li Yong stepped down.

"He should have informed us that you were leaving the villages' territory, his life would not be enough if something were to happen to a female" Li Yong scorned at Bai for his actions

"He is not at fault, I asked him to bring me out. I was bored" Having said her piece she pulled Bai's hand and walked away from the scene.

Li Yong tightened his fists but refrained from saying anything

'what's with this feeling, it's strange, it almost feels painful' With that in his mind, he turned away.

On Bai's side

"Will you be in trouble because of this?"

"I don't think so, I was just completing my female's request" With a sly smile in his face he continued making his way

"YOUR?" Kazumi just looked at him in a questioning manner "Did you like flying so much?"

After hearing this last sentence, his back started drenching in cold sweat "hahaha, anyhow do you have anything in mind as in how to eat these?"

Changing the topic to the food they heard both of their stomachs growl

"I have never consumed that type of bird so I guess deer shall be my choice, lets just roast some on the fire, or did you have anything in mind?"

"No"

Once they were done with their meal, Kazumi asked Bai to give the rest of the meat for everyone to have a share, at first Bai was unwilling saying that it was hers to keep, but upon realizing that Kazumi would just go and do it herself he gave in and went to the village chief to have him distribute.

Being left by herself she used a simple water spell to conjure enough for her to soke in, having no one around she submerged in the bathtub.

Feeling sluggish she laid in the tub, after what seemed a couple of minutes, she felt someone's gaze, opening her eyes slowly.

A being with draconic like wings on his back was staring at her intently as if looking for something.

Since it didn't have any ill will, Kazumi just stayed quiet waiting, the being circled the tub a few times before deciding to lift Kazumi's hair "They're not here" muttering to himself

"Are you done?" Kazumi gazed up at the being startling him to death "I say have they ever taught you not to enter a women's home uninvited?" Opening her soul space, she pulled out a dagger and pointed at him with it.

He smirked as if unaware of the danger, hitting one of Kazumi's nerves.

"Where have you hid them?"

"Hid what?"

"The pair on your back, I saw them the pair of wings that left me mesmerized" Within his answer was no malice but pure curiosity.

"Do you expect me to tell you after barging in while I am bathing, and not introducing yourself?" She condescendingly gazed at him. Not being bothered by it, he kept firm on knowing.

Seeing how thick-skinned he was Kazumi through the dagger at him and got out only draping a towel on herself and flying out of the cabin.

The dagger flew straight at him only tearing his clothing a little, unharmed he smirked opening his wings and flying in the same direction she fled toward. As he spread his wings and lifted, he left a strong gust of wind blowing through the entire village

Li Yong, Bai, and Vasser perceived the scent of a dragonewt as the wind blew through the village, Li Yong let out a howl letting everyone know that there was danger.

On Kazumi's side

Having flown quite a distance from the village she stopped, at the sudden sting on her back, clearly indicating that the wounds on her back had not fully healed.

The Dragonewt caught up to her in no time and seeing that she had stopped her fleeing, he smiled.

"What is it that you want?" Having very little strength in her wings she asked him directly

He looked at her dumbfounded "I… Want… You" after saying so he tried to trap her in his arms but, she would manage to slip away from his grasp "I don't wish to fight you as my kind does but it seems there is no other way"

Without waiting for Kazumi's response, he through fire magic at her: "ᛟᚺ ᛞᚨᚱᚴ ᚠᛚᚨᛗᛖᛋ ᛁ ᚨᛋᚴ ᛟᚠ ᛏᚺᛖᛖ ᛞᛖᛋᛏᚱᛟᚤ ᛗᚤ ᚱᛁᚡᚨᛚ Dark blaze!"

Dogging the first attacks Kazumi counter measured

Drawing a symbol with her hands a huge blaze appeared "Destroy everything you see HASAI-EN!"

A blaze double the size of his appeared startling him, though it hit directly it managed to burn his clothing and leave some burnt marks on his skin.

Kazumi's vision became blurry and she dropped from the sky covering herself with her wings.

The dragonewt saw her fall and at lightning speed he reached her carrying her in his arms away from the ground "Your strength is beautiful such as your appearance, you are mine now"

Once his last words fell he bit into her skin, blood-red like roses started seeping from the wound savoring her blood, he then bit into his wrist feeding her his.

Soon after a dragon-like marking appeared on her chest.
