30 Awkward meeting
"Netsu shio" the feather turned bright red emanating heat, she threw it in the water and soon enough the entire lake heated up instantly turning the lake into a hot spring.
Vapor started rising and Kazumi took out two bottles from her soul space in the white porcelain bottle was a Soul Replenishing Pill and in the light green bottle was a cleansing pill.
She through them in the lake and instantaneously the air was filled with the rich aroma of herbs, once the water turned a light green she smiled in satisfaction and removed her robe and stepped into the water.
Making sure to arrive at a part where she could cover her wings completely, she started rubbing her arms with the water.
She submerged her entire body swimming around as to have a little joy to herself, she emerged from beneath the water and the droplets sled down her skin following her figure.
At the side of the lake, Toshiro witnessed this and dropped the fruits he had brought with him, feeling that his throat was getting dry. The droplets sliding on his mark on her looked tempting
Kazumi sensed his presence and lowered her body into the water launching a fierce glance at Toshiro.
Once Toshiro saw her fierce glare, he turned his body facing the other way.
"I…. I brought some fruit for you" clearing his throat he picked up the animal skin sack with the fruit and before he could turn, he asked "Can I accompany you to eat some, I heard from my friend that the Pyrus fruit is especially sweet"
Kazumi lowered her gaze to look at the mark on her body
"You can stay, just don't do anything funny"
Once Toshiro heard her approval his eyes lit up, he sat near the lake, sniffing the aroma in the water "Female where did you get the potion from?"
"IT'S KA-ZU-MI! People calling me female is irritating, if we are family you should at least address me by my name and this is not a potion, they were Pills concocted by an alchemist but if you think of it, it is not all that different"
Toshiro's thinking process stopped at the word 'Family' in his face formed a foolish smile
Kazumi stopped speaking and looked in his direction only to find him grinning. Face-palming herself "You marked us, and I am not a heartless person as to abandon you, we are not a couple just family. Do you get it" lifting one of her eyebrows
"As long as you don't abandon me, I'll take care of you" Scheming in his heart as to how to seduce her later …
"This is medicinal water, are the wounds and burns healed? You should apply water on them I doubt that wounds inflicted by my weapons can be healed easily"
Toshiro jumped into the late startling Kazumi to death
"YOU!!! I didn't tell you to jump in" She made a pout "I'll be getting out"
Toshiro grabbed her hand "Can you show me your wings and I'll show you mine, please"

Kazumi turned her back to him and spread her wings, he stretched his hand timidly seemingly afraid of shattering her wings.
With the tip of his fingers, he traced her wings, feeling her feathers; they looked as if made of crystal but to the touch, they were so smooth that it makes you want to bury your face in them.
He traced his hand to the root of her wings and he saw bruises and two scars on her back.
While frowning he asked, "What happened to you?"
Kazumi retracted her wings and turned towards him "People had tried to capture me and kill me" she lowered her gaze "They used a blade embedded with poison that does not purify easily, and because of this the wounds beneath my skin have not healed properly. When I try to fly it only causes bruises"
Toshiro's gaze turned fierce and his eyes started interchanging color.
