1 PROLOGUE
Earth calendar year 2027 December 8
In a vast stretch of frozen water,a battle can be seen accompanied with the cacophony of sounds and flashes of blue light and sparks.
In this battle an army of humans numbering tens of thousands can be seen fighting, not against another human army but against an army of giant lizards also known to us as dragons numbering thousands.
Many of these dragons can be seen in the ice, underwater, and in the sky.
In this battle the human army are in such a disadvantage only being able to figh on the ice, and since guns can't penetrate the scales of these dragons, they fought only with cold weapons.
In such a disadvantage thousands of humans died while only hundreds died on the side of the dragons yet these humans still persevered.
At this time explosions can be seen in the middle of this war breaking the already battered ice into many pieces killing many humans in the process.
These explosions caught the attention of Reide Thyceris a 16-year old dragon slayer with jet black hair, a marble-white skin,a 5'9 height, but most of all is his deep jet black eyes which are filled with anger and hatred.
"Get ready!" he shouted to his three companions, but they already knew what was about to come so they just nodded at each other and came beside Reide.
This group consists of a tank,a paladin, and an assassin while Reide is the leader with the job class of a platinum dragon slayer.
In the middle of these explosions came out several individuals which you could call humans if not for the crystal clear horns on their head and azure-scaled tails.
These are the royal dragons at the threat level 39 accompanied by many royal guards at the threat level of 30.
But the most terrifying of the group is the arctic dragon lord the, dragon who took control of the arctic continent and the very same dragon who violated the peace contract between the humans and the ice dragons.
The dragon lord, Cron Dricter, upon seeing the situation coldly looked at Reide and Reide looked back, a sea of killing intent overflowing in his eyes then.
Cron spoke "It's time to end this" in a manner that many humans felt fear to their very soul, Reide remaining calm in such a situation just grinned at Cron then casted the spell "soul separation".
Cron, upon hearing this spell his face turned dark and he tried to use a dispell, but it was too late.
A small magic circle appeared above Reide's head then it collapsed into itself, but the next second an energy wave spread throughout the battlefield causing many of the dragons to collapse seemingly dead except for the royal dragons and the royal guards.
Seeing this scene in front of him Cron immediately knew that Reide had casted a spell of the undead dragons of the dragon realm's hell realm, enraged Cron tried to attack Reide 'cause he knew the next spells Reide will cast but he was intercepted by the paladin in Reide's group who took his attacks head on.
While the dragon lord is being intercepted the tank in Reide's group is stopping the other dragons from getting to Reide, even if they knew they won't last long, they still endured just to give Reide and the assassin time to cast their spells.
Reide casted the spells "soul berserk" and "soul reconnection" while one of his companion casted the spell "god's escape".
After these spells are casted all the humans suddenly disappeared including the bodies of those who has fallen.
The cold air stirred and the separated souls all became crazed before they got forced back to their own bodies and the once lifeless bodies of the dragons who got their souls separated twitched then got up with bloodshot eyes as they began their rampage destroying everything they see, many has even attacked the dragon lord, the royal dragons, and the royal guards.
Facing thousands of their own kin these royals got overwhelmed and many of them got injured and died, at this time Reide and his group has already retreated to in the air while waiting for the spell to do it's job.
They watched the scene indifferently as they knew that what's left is to kill the dragon lord and the remaining dragons.
On the other hand the arctic dragon lord heard his son's cry for help turning around he saw his son's guards corpses ripped apart while his son is being mobbed.
The dragon lord roared then tried to protect his son by freezing many of the berserked dragons and creating towering ice spikes at the cost of half of his mana.
But before these spikes can reach the dragons attacking his son, he heard his son's screams reverberate in his ears.
Looking at his son's shredded corpse, Cron kneeled down his eyes blank while tears flowed in his face and anger seething out of him.
After some time the crazed dragons has already climbed over the ice spikes and was about to lounge at Cron when suddenly a very huge explosion occurred sending out ice shards in every direction it's energy wave spreading rapidly.
Then the surge of power slowly receded and in the place of Cron a giant dragon stood in the middle of a very wide crater.
The dragon is about 800-feet-tall with scales as blue as ice, wings double the size of his body, and crystal clear teeth,claws, and horn.
Seeing this Reide and his group's face darkened, the dragon they're looking at now isn't the supreme dragon they fought a year ago which is of threat level 40, but a dragon that is nearing demigod level at threat level nearing 50.
Growling, the dragon lord disappeared from his place then reappeared in front of Reide's group covering the nearly 1km distance between him and Reade.
Without letting Reide and his companions a time to react the tank suddenly got cut into four pieces in just a swipe, then the dragon lord attacked the paladin cutting of his arm while all of these are happening the assassin spoke "god's esc---" but got cut off while casting when he was suddenly thrown away.
Reide didn't got any time to cast either, so he just summoned his sword then infused it with mana before he slashed it to his right.
The sound of sword hitting a very hard material resounded in Reide's ears before he slashed out to his front to cleave a very powerful ice breath threatening to freeze him in place then he slashed out again this time not to defend but to attack but it was blocked before it landed a blow.
The fight continued for some time, sword against claws, and sword against breath of ice, before the two backed away.
At this time Reide decided to use his last remaining triumph card and also Cron did the same gathering mana to his mouth.
The paladin and assassin on the other hand channeled their very last remaining mana to Reide before dying.
Cron released his breath exhaling a whirlwind of freezing breeze awhile Reide, holding a sword faced the attack head on using the spell "gale streak" augmented with his title "wind slayer" that gathered the wind mana in Cron's breath catching him off guard before Reide thrusted his sword.
Caught off guard Cron tried to defend with his wings and claws but in the end he reacted too late.
The sound of breaking glass can be heard followed by the sound of blood spurting out, Cron looked at his chest spurting blood before falling down to the water to sink in the abyss of this frozen land.
In this battle the Arctic dragon lord fell and all ice dragons in this war died.
Reide received a message from the system that he has killed the Arctic dragon lord and that he caused the extinction of the Arctic dragons rewarding him the titles " ice slayer" and " Arctic genocide".
Reide layed on top of an ice floe while saying to himself"It seems that my end has come, I'll be joining you soon Hsiah".
While laying down, he remembered the mistakes he has committed then he looked at his comrades lifeless body and thought to himself that he made another huge mistake before closing his eyes.

As all of these are happening, in a void two people or rather two hazy figures are looking into a countless scenes.
These scenes are actually the past, the present, the future and even the possible courses of fate.
In these scenes one stood out showing a kid with jet black hair and deep dark eyes slowly closing.
One of the figures spoke "look! the kid actually have gone to the path of killing the arctic dragon quite early".
The other replied "indeed he killed the arctic dragon but alas he's going to pay it with his life"
"Shouldn't we help him? after all he's a demigod and the other gods from those realm already have many demigods on their sides while we haven't a single one" asked the first one.
"Well, we could do that after all this kid has already defied fate countless times" the second spoke before sending a trace of divinity to alter the scene in front of them.

After closing his eyes Reide found himself in a colorless place where nothing can be seen a place devoid of even the void and in front of him the familiar yet unfamiliar system showed a notification saying:
"congratulations for the host upon acquiring half divinity making him a demigod"
"alert! the host's heart has stopped beating and has initiated the hibernation mode, the host and his system is now going on a hibernation for a period of time" then everything went dark.
