Skye POV:

Emma and Rose. They stood there frozen, with shock and fear mixed in their expression. Emma ran to Nick, who was still on the floor coughing for air. I could feel my senses coming back to me and the realization of what I had done or was trying to do. My head snapped to Nick, my eyes becoming foggy. I ran to Nick who now was half sitting and half leaning on Emma.

"Oh Nick I am so sorry I don't know what took over me, my element just lost control" I half sat on my knees near Nick, with my hands holding on to his.

Nick looked at me with a pained face, but still gave me a reassuring smile.

"Hey don't apologize, it was me who was a jerk and I can assure you that I could see that you lost control, your hair was freaky." He looked at Emma and gave her a pat on the head.

"But I can't explain how grateful I am to our little Em here for snapping you out of it, because you were scary Skye, like the real shit scary with your hair floating and all. Nearly made me piss myself" both me and Emma laughed softly with Nick who was in pain.

I could hear a bunch of footsteps behind me, turning around I saw the whole group at the door, all having a serious mix of panic on their faces. Caine ran to Emma pushing Nick away at the same time and checked for any injuries.

"What happened Em, are you alright and why is Nick on the ground" Cain looked at Nick who now was leaning on me for support after the sudden push away from Em.

"Brother I'm ok it was only that…" She glanced worriedly at me. I was about to tell the truth when Nick beat me to it.

"Ah about that Cain, it was my fault. I scared the crap out of them when they were walking in and Skye then accidentally hit me with one of her water balls" He said with both of his hands raised in a surrender gesture and let out an awkward laugh.

Everything happened in a split second. Caine towered over a very pale looking Nick holding him by his collar.

"What did you just say! Where did you get the guts to scare my little sister, I will beat the crap out of you bastard!" Emma tried to stop her not so happy big brother with no effort. I glanced at Sam who caught my signal, because she gave me a nod before she went to Caine, punching him in the gut.

"Sorry Caine but you are scaring your sister more than Nick and I know you would regret killing Nick later, so I'm doing you a favor" She said with a big smile before clapping, a now hunched over Cain, on the shoulder.

"Cain you should really step down a bit with the overprotective brotherness because, one you will make Emma feel suffocating and two, I don't think your girlfriend would always want you that way." Nick said while he raised his point and middle fingers.

"What do you mean Emma would never feel suffocated with me and Brittney loves Emma has her own little sister."

"Ehm guys, I think we have forgotten someone here" Lily said with a smile while she glanced at Rose. All eyes landed at Rose who now was nervously looking down to her feet.

"Eh guys, she won't faint again will she because it would be troublesome."

Nick of course had to comment something stupid. Making me, Sam and Cain slap him on the back of his head.

Rose's POV

*Dream*

I took in my surroundings and noticed that I was sitting in the middle of a meadow, that was in front of a giant forest, alone. It was silent, like there was no other living being there except me. The forest was surrounded by a dark fog, like it was warning everyone to not trespass. I stood up and looked down at the clothes I wore, it was a long white dress that's tight at the waist and fell floral at my feet.

'Where am I' I wondered.

Looking behind me and saw a no man's land. I heard a snap making me turn back, facing the dark forest again. I scanned the forest after any threat, but found none. Letting out a shaking breath I looked up at the sun setting sky that was now becoming darker by minute. The atmosphere made the forest more terrifying while the fog who surrounded it made it look more haunted.

It felt like someone watched me carefully. My alarm bell went crazy, warning me from the unknown danger. I could feel a gentle breeze passing me, like a whisper, calling to me from the shadows that was dancing among the trees.

My body started to move toward the forest like it had a mind of its own. I struggled to break free from this unknown force, to no avail. My mind screamed to stop, to run the other way, but my body had other plans.

'Oh no, why can't I control my own body!!'

I could feel the panic seep into my nerves and my heart hammering against my chest. Unable to do anything I saw the forest become bigger has I came closer. Looking behind me and saw that the no man's land had vanished and was now replaced by the same dark trees that were in front of me.

I had stopped and was now standing among the tick looking trees that were surrounded by darkness. I tried to take a deep breath to calm down my nerves and beating heart.

The feeling like a was being watched came back with full force. Scanning my surroundings again I spotted someone at my left, by the trees surrounded by the fog and darkness. It was hard to see his face but one thing that was standing out the most was his eyes, they were crimson red like blood.

It felt like someone had dropped a bucket full of ice-cold water on me. We held each other's gaze, he watched me like a lion watched his prey, while I looked at him like a deer caught in the light. He stretched out a hand to me, while his eyes called to me, urging me to go to him.

"Rose" he called for me with his dark yet deep voice.

It was weird, I should have felt scared or insecure toward this unknown man, but I wasn't, more of the opposite actually. I felt a nonchalant and warm like emotion like I don't have to worry or be scared about anything.

The whole situation did not make sense to me, I didn't know this man who could be a serial killer for all I know. To top it all, I could still not see his face because of the shadows, but I could faintly see a pair of wings black as coal, spreading out like it was ready to fly.

His gaze softened when he saw my expression, he lowered his hand and looked at me with sadness lingering in his eyes.

"Rose, it seems like you don't remember me, even though you said you would never forget me. If only I could have prevented that to happen, you wouldn't be like this today… or maybe it's for the best. At least now you can forget about the pain and sadness of the past, but I can't say that I'm happy that you don't remember me."

His gaze was on me the whole time. I don't know why but his words made my heart sad, like someone had stabbed me with a knife. I wanted to say something but nothing came out of my mouth.

"Seems like my time is up, damn it. Rosi take care of yourself and don't trust everyone in this twisted world and remember that one day I will find you so don't worry ok. I will always be by your side and protect you like I always have done Rosie, because I am your prince in shining armor so wait for me at the pl…"

He never got to finish because he vanished in thin air. I ran to him trying to prevent him from vanishing but it was too late, a part of me was angry and disappointed because I couldn't remember him even though he felt so familiar and… important. Not knowing what to do now, I wanted to cry and scream out of frustration, but stopped by a voice so low, I thought at first it was the wind.

"Rosie"

'Huh what was that?'

I searched with my gaze for the owner but found none. The voice belonged to a woman and a familiar one at that, it felt like I knew this one really well.

"Rosari… my sweet little sister"

The voice came again, but a bit louder this time. I looked behind me where I thought I heard the voice. It again called for me, urging me to come. Without a second thought I ran after the voice.

'What did she just say…'

After I ran for what felt like an hour, I reached the edge of the forest or more like a meadow because I was still surrounded by trees. Going further into the meadow, I tried to find the source of the voice.

I saw something glittering a bit away from me, so I went there to see what it was. Laying on the grass was a key with a chain holding it, I picked it up and started to examine it.

The key was silver and had the length as my middle finger. It was round at the top with three safire embedded on it, on the top side of it were two wings and four small at the bottom. There was a long silver feather on the key's shaft.

I didn't know why or how, but I had a feeling that this key was really important to me. Looking at it gave me a sad yet a warm sensation in my heart.

"Rosie" My head snapped at the sudden sound of the voice. It was like it came from the sky.

"Who are you?" I said with as much confidence as I could muster.

"Rosie my sister, as you know there is a spell that blocks you from your memory and your ability. Even though I don't want you to remember the sadness and pain of the past, I must warn you of the danger you are in.

Rose, you must listen closely, the key you are holding is important and you must protect it with all your might."

Looking at the cold metal that was laying on my palm, I wondered why it was so important.

"Nothing must happen to it, do you understand. Sister be cautious of the people around you, don't trust everyone or tell about the key to anyone if you don't trust them from the bottom of your heart."

Everything started to suddenly become dizzy and unclear.

"Rosie you must go now, it's time for you to wake up. My sweet little sister you might not remember me now, but I'm sure that one day you will remember both me and D. So for now sayonara~ Rosi"

Before I could say or protest, the ground opened like a black hole, making me fall into it. The only thing I could do was to scream out to her. I didn't want us to part yet, this woman knew me and I wanted to know more about myself.

"Wait not yet, don't leave me please, waiiit!"

Suddenly a name popped up in my mind. I don't know how, but I just knew that it was her name. With as much power I could muster, I screamed her name while I fell deeper into the black hole, hoping to prevent her from leaving me.

"Sheeerrrraaaa!"
