Berserker Udo

"Would you listen to me for a second?!!" I shouted at Udo who was mindlessly attacking me.

Racquel was also shouting something but Udo just kept attacking.

'I don't know how long I can last with just dodging. I don't even have a spear to defend with.' I thought.

I planned on tiring him out while defending but I wouldn't last against Udo without a weapon.

Delphine had her dagger under her dress and Wayne can handle himself perfectly fine even without his swords.

I can also do fine without my spear but my opponent this time requires me using one.

"Damn it!" I cursed as I barely dodged a punch. It was really scary. Just the wind from his punches grazing my skin was enough to send chills down my spine.

My earth magic won't work on him and his earth magic won't work on me but his advantages against me are his wind magic and aura. Both of those made him fast even with his huge physique. I'm already fortunate enough to still have my head.

Then I saw a window of opportunity. Quite literally, the windows. I then ran towards it.

"You can't escape!!!" Udo shouted. He made an earth pillar to propel him towards my direction. I ducked and he ended up in my destination.

You could see in his face that he was really mad. But I still kept going forward. When I got close enough for his range of attack, he punched downwards at me but I jumped and dodged it making him punch the floor.

I landed on his arm and ran on it as an inclined plane and headed towards my target.

When I reached his shoulder, I jumped off of him and grabbed the curtain by its rod.

I used the wall as a platform and jumped away from Udo while pulling the curtain.

His vision got blocked by the curtain falling towards him. While he was distracted, I pulled out the rod from the curtain and got ready.

I now have a pseudo weapon.

Udo ripped open the curtain covering his sight and found me making a stance.

"Why didn't you attack me while I had my vision blocked?" Udo calmly asked.

"It would be no use against you. It's better to just counter and defend myself." I replied.

"Hah. Admirable thinking for a pervert like you!" Udo said.

"Like I was trying to say, I wasn't going to-"

"Raaaaaaah!!!!" Udo shouted as he started attacking me again with a barrage of punches.

I jumped and blocked all of it with my spear and the force from the punches that I blocked pushed me backwards in the air.

'He's still not listening!' I shouted inwardly.

I knew I wouldn't last any longer if I just defend so I tried to think of something.

'Think! What could possibly be my advantage here? Damn it! I only can think of disadvantages.' I thought.

I thought how my peers were geniuses and had many advantages that I don't have but I quickly shook the thoughts off.

'This is no time for self-loathing, Feliz! Think!' I frantically thought.

Like earlier I was scanning the area. Then I noticed, the floor was shiny.

'That's it! If I just use a basic water spell, I can move faster on the floor by sliding on it just like how Delphine uses her Ice magic!'

The problem was how to make it work. It's not like I can slide like Delphine all the time. I need an opportune moment to strike.

"Hah! Is that it, Udo? You can't even avenge your woman!" I shouted at my opponent.

"Shut the fuck up!" Udo shouted in reply.

Then he charged at me again.

'Perfect. He's now agitated and not thinking clearly. I need to make use of this now!' I said inwardly.

I also charged at him and parried all his punches with my make-shift staff. Some punches graze me but I clenched my teeth through the pain.

Then I made my move. I stretched my other hand to the floor and produced water. A basic magic that anyone can use even without being talented with water.

I let my body fall backwards but I was still going forward. I slid under Udo and aimed my staff for his crotch.

"Kurgh!"

"Haah. Haah. Haah."

I breathed heavily as I lay on the floor. I peeked back at Udo and he was kneeling on the floor holding his crotch. It was a success.

The first time that I ever won someone I considered stronger than me. It made me so happy that I unconsciously smiled.

I got up to finish him. A hit on the head just to make him sleep and restrain him from rampaging anymore.

I lifted my staff and focused my sight on his neck that I was aiming for.

I swung down but I stopped mid-swing.

Racquel had her arms spread. She was protecting Udo.

"Stop it now! Both of you!" She shouted.

"He's not listening, Racquel. He'll rampage once he recovers. I need to make him sleep for a while. Stand back." I calmly said.

"No!" She objected.

"Tsk! Move now or he'll-" I cut off my own words.

A large silhouette of a man was towering over behind Racquel. It was, Udo. He already got up.

'Tsk! After all that work. Whatever. I just need to think of something else." I thought in a wry smile.

"Move aside, Racquel." He said.

"No! Udo! You don't understand!" Racquel said.

"I perfectly understand." He said calmly as he gently lifted Racquel to the side.

The way between us is clear again so I prepared myself for another clash and made a stance.

"It's okay, Feliz. I remember now." He said.

"Huh?" A confused sound came out from me.

"I remember now what Mr. Alfie said to me earlier about your mission. I'm sorry. I was just so angry that it clouded my thinking." Udo said.

"W-when did you finally figure it out?" I asked him.

"When you hit me in my genitals. Wayne, wouldn't do something like that because he knows what it will feel like. Don't mind it. It's something men would only understand." He calmly said with his arms crossed and a stupid grin on his face.

Racquel and me just had stony faces.

Something ridiculous as that happening cleared the misunderstanding.

"A-anyway, Miss Racquel, what were you saying earlier?" I turned my gaze towards Racquel and asked her to ignore and forget Udo's stupid statement.

"Damn it, Feliz!" I cursed under my breath as we walked swiftly across the lounge of the hotel towards the elevator.

"Hey, calm down. Maybe she didn't know, okay." Delphine said with a worried face.

"The princess would have introduced herself beforehand if she invited "me" to the ball." I said anxiously.

What Feliz did will trouble us. Delphine also did the same thing to the prince but she was in the form a noble woman and he wouldn't trouble us because it had many witnesses. He wouldn't be able to do anything to Mikaela other than simple forms of harassment which he was already doing beforehand.

On the other hand, Feliz was in my form. I'm just a mere commoner and she might make our lives difficult here in Lucille because of what "I" did.

We reached the elevator and got on it. I was tapping my foot on the floor rapidly while I had my arms crossed.

"Calm down, Wayne. We won't be able to do anything about it now that it happened. We just need to talk about it as a party so it won't happen again." Delphine said.

"Haaah. Fine." I said but I didn't mean it.

We got out of the elevator at the fifth floor where the suit was. I looked at my right where the other rooms should be.

'Huh. There were guards there earlier.' I thought as I glanced at the farthest room at the right where there were guards when we got out of the room. We sneaked towards the elevator with Feliz using the mirage spell earlier so they won't see us coming from this floor.

Delphine and I continued walking towards our room then knocked on the door.

The door opened and I was greeted by myself but it was really Feliz.

"How was the mission?" She asked giddy.

"It went fine. Let's get insi-" I said as I went in. There were two other people sitting in the living room. It was Udo who was waving at us with a big smile.

"Yo!" He said.

Delphine waved back and smiled as well.

"Why are you here?" I asked as I approached him.

"Well, it just happened like that." He replied with a forced smile while he was scratching his cheek.

I looked around the room and it was a mess. The curtain was on the floor. Some of the furniture are broken.

"What the hell happened here?" I uttered as I looked around.

"Funny you should ask. Well-" Udo tried to explain but I cut him off.

"Sorry Udo. There's something still bothering me. Feliz, what did you do?"

"M-me?" She replied agitated.

"Yes, you. You rejected the princess. You should have just given her what she wanted. She's pissed and she might use her influence to make our lives hell now in Lucille."

"But-it was just an event! That's nothing serious! She can have other boys go with her. Hmph." Feliz pouted

"You hurt her pride, Feliz. She didn't go to the ball and went to the underground club. Now even her brother knows." I said.

"H-how is that our p-problem?" Feliz was being stubborn.

"I literally just told you, didn't I!? You can call them spoiled but they have power over this whole country. We can't predict what they'll do now." I said to her.

She was looking down at the floor. I don't know why but I was a little bit irritated by it.

"O-okay. I'm sorry." She apologized. Delphine, Udo, and the girl next to him had troubled expressions.

"What use is your apology now? You should have known better. Gah. You made it difficult for us" I don't know why but I kept scolding her.

*sniffle*

She eventually started crying. I looked at her who was in my form while she was crying. She looked back at me then sprinted towards her room.

Because she had on my form, I saw myself sobbing. It made me reflect and realize my mistake. I should have stopped when she said sorry but I kept on scolding her to humiliate her.

"How crude." Udo stated.

"I'm disappointed." The girl next to her said.

'Who are you supposed to be anyway?!' I thought.

"Wayne…" Delphine uttered as she put her hand on my shoulder.

I tried to look at her but I can't. I'm guilty. If anyone should be comforted, it should be Feliz.

"Shame. She was excited to tell you something too." Udo said with his arms closed. The girl next to him also had her arms closed and she was nodding.

"What is it, then?" I asked him.

"Tsk. It irritates me to be the one to say it under this mood. Just go ask her later." Udo stubbornly said.

"F-fine, then. Can you just answer who that girl is and what is she doing here?" I asked and pointed at the girl that was imitating Udo.

"This girl…" Udo's whole mood suddenly changed when he turned towards the girl. He now had a loving expression. He held her hands and the girl is looking at Udo happily as well.

"She's going to be my wife. Her name is Racquel." He said.

"Ah. The one you were talking about." I said.

"Yes. And apparently you could be her long lost brother." Udo said.

"I see." I nodded with my arms closed.

"…" The room was silent.

""HAAAH???"" Delphine and I shouted.
