Chapter 7

The roar from earlier while it sounded powerful, it also seemed somewhat weird, like the wyvern was trying to convey a message.I'm no expert in dragons but I can't seem to shake this weird feeling.

-Are you ok,Seiji?

-Yeah, it's just that I have a weird feeling. I think the wyvern was trying to tell us something.

-That can't be right.

-Perhaps.

As we continued going up the mountain Ignea stopped complaining and got used to the princess carry.The view we could see was breath taking, the forrest of death, despite it's omnious name, was truly beautiful.The tops of the trees felt like they were reaching for the skies, the flowers were brightly colored and stood out from any other plants.However, as we went up the mountaint, the amazing sight of the forrest turned into a peisage of death and destruction. The ground was filled with scatered carcases of dead beasts and humans. Something had happened here, a battle perhaps. Ignea fainted at the sight of a burnt fairy corpse.Whatever happened here was big.I continued going up while carrying her until I reached a cave near the top of the mountain.Inside the cave there was the wyvern,laying down.I put Ignea down on a nearby patch of grass and I walked towards it.As I reached closer the wyvern rose up and looked at me.In it's eyes I could both see power and dignity but there was something more, there was worry.Next to hhe wyvern there was a small dragon, a youngling.When I was a kid I fought a dragon deity and it gifted me with a crest that would give me power and allow me to not be considered a foe to dragons.I slowly lifted up my shirt and showed the crest to the wyvern.It let me get close to it. The roar from earlier was caused by pain, it was wounded.The wyvern barrely held on the thin tread of life.I went close to it and wispered"It is okay, you protected the young one, you fulfilled your role" and as soon as i finished speaking the wyvern passed to the other world.I aproached the youngling and woke her up. I could recognise her anywhere. She was the dragon king's daugther, I played with her a few times when she was little. The white scales and blue eyes shined brightly and showed her status as a royal.I gently woke her up and asked her if she's okay.She looked at me with large eyes and smiled than she cast a spell similar to the one Ignea used and transformed in a human.

-Big brother Seiji!

-Yo, Runa!

She ran into my arms and started crying.Despite how strong she is she is still a twelve years old little girl.

-What happened?

-The...the humans attacked...they sealed daddy in a sword and took him somewhere...I couldn't do anything!

-It's okay now, big bro Seiji is here after all, I'll find your father.

She stopped crying but hugged me tighter and I hugged her back, which was a great mistake.I was too focused on Runa to see that Ignea woke up and as such I was confrunted with her hars words.

-Seiji...are you by any chance a pedo... or are you into tiny people, that would explain why you'd look at me more when I was in my fairy form.

THAT IS BECAUSR NOW I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO LOOK NOW THAT YOUR CHEST ALSO GREW WHEN YOU BECAME HUMAN!But of course I couldn't say that out loud.I know she is just joking but still...
