Chapter 14

So now that we got back to the inn we began thinking about how to get to that city and no idea comes to mind as there are no more quests at the guild. To bad that shitty old man had to be like that.

-So any ideas yet?[Ignea]

-Nope, how about you Yuzu?[Seiji]

-I'm sorry master but I don't know. If only we were able to teleport or something.[Yuzu]

-Wait...you're a genius Yuzu![Seiji & Ignea]

-What!? We can actually do that? And how come you are in sync?[Yuzu]

-Yes we can! And I have no idea how come we are in sync![Seiji]

-Yeah, after all that's how we met![Ignea]

After acting like retards for a few more minutes I set up the magic circle and cast the spell. As our surroundings started to spiral and merge into a vortex darkness settled in around us just to fall onto itself before it revealed our destination. Danzig, the city at the border between our kingdoms, a city filled with merchants, adventurers, soldiers, craftsman and some of the finest booze in the country.

-So, this is Danzig. It's a lot livelier than I thought.[Ignea]

-Yeah, it is filled with all kinds of people![Yuzu]

-It's nothing that special, just the biggest trade market in the entire world, one of the strongest fortresses that humanity has and the birth place of the first king of this country.[Seiji]

-Unnecessary trivia but OK.[Ignea]

-Now, we should split up for now, Ignea take Yuzu and find a place to stay and eat and I will go and scout the Inquisition's headquarters, perhaps I will find a way to get Alastair alone and than we'll meet up in the plaza.[Seiji]

-Got it![Ignea]

After leaving the two of them I quickly made my way to the Inquisition which was not very hard to find considering it's more of a giant castle than anything. It's probably about as big as the royal palace so I can see why Raijin is pretty salty about this. The place is filled with guards at the gate, on the castle walls and even among the people that pass by the castle. I am sure Alastair has realized that I am already here and is probably strengthening his defenses, it would be for the best to come here at night so I can sneak in and attack him directly.

After scouting for a bit more I returned to Ignea and Yuzu. The two of them found a nice inn with good food and we got two rooms, one for me and one for the girls. I can finally sleep peacefully after these last few nights.

Why can't I fall asleep? Why is this happening to me?....all I wanted was a good night's sleep....
