After a while Ignea came back with Runa and we left Runa in the care of Raijin's maid while we continued our talk.

-Ignea, what kind of magic can you use?[Seiji]

-As elemental magic I can use fire and as non-elemental magic I can use healing magic and a few other spells, but why do you ask?[Ignea]

-I see. Raijin, can you borrow her a few grimoires?[Seiji]

-Of course. Could it be that you are trying to increase our power in case of an invasion?[Raijin]

-Yeah, I'll also go gather the demon generals and dispatch them to protect the borders before going after the hero. We need as much power as we can get since we still don't know what other tricks the emperor has in store for us. Also, I really don't want to turn this into some kind of fight that could ruin the entire world so I'll try to use my full power as little as possible but I can't guaranty that they'll do the same.[Seiji]

-In that case I should also prepare a few tricks for them in case they'll attack first. I think you should pass by your castle and get some equipment.[Raijin]

-I already considered that since the people could panic if I'm gone for too long of a time.[Seiji]

-In that case what am I supposed to do?[Ignea]

-You can come with me if you want but I won't be able to guaranty your safety if the war really comes and we have to fight the hero.[Seiji]

-That's fine, I'll do anything I can in order to help you! Even if we met just a few days ago we had a lot of fun and we got to know each other pretty well and... and I think we got quite close and I'd be sad if I lost you....[Ignea]

-...Thanks, I guess, but you should be more careful about your choice of word when speaking to men, most of us could misunderstand what you're trying to say, especially if it's from a cutie like you...[Seiji]

What the heck was that?! Can I take it as a confession?Can I? NO, calm down Seiji, she just cares for you as a friend, there is no way in hell that such a beautiful, nice, kind and interesting girl could ever fall for you. I should be happy that she'd even consider to be my friend!

-That's not what I meant....stupid Seiji....[Ignea]

-Ok, now if you finished flirting can we get to work or do you two want to get a room?[Raijin]

-Wasn't there something else you wanted to tell me?[Seiji]

-Oh, yeah, Seiji you should sit down for this one...[Raijin]

-Why, what happened?

-Alastair has started to become active again, he's in a small town at the border between our kingdoms.[Raijin]

-What did you say? That bastard dares to show his face around.....Change of plans, Ignea you head for the demon king's castle, I'll go after Alastair.[Seiji]

-Don't do anything rash, he became the head of the church, if you attack him unprovoked you'll just bring the church and inquisition into this whole affair.[Raijin]

-That's right, it could cause a holy war! And also, if I said that I'm coming with you, that means I'm coming with you no matter what![Ignea]

-Unprovoked? Did you just say unprovoked?Ten years ago that bastard came and ravaged my kingdom, he killed my people, my friends and most of my family...he killed the previous demon king and then disappeared somewhere and now...now he dares to come back near the border and you expect me to do nothing about it?[Seiji]

-I'm not saying that, I'm just saying that if the demon king does something to him it'd be bad, but who could punish an adventurer that doesn't even exist?[Raijin]

-I see where you're going...you sure are a twisted bastard Raijin, you also want to get rid of him don't you? Hasn't the inquisition acquired a bit more political influence in your country than you'd like?Isn't that right, mister crown prince?[Seiji]

-Huh, you got me. That's right I want him gone since he's becoming a treat to my plans. You know my ideals Seiji and you know what lengths I'm willing to go to accomplish them. So if I can get rid of him while also making sure you get more powerful that would be like killing two birds with one stone.[Raijin]

-You twisted bastard, ain't you worried I might just attack your country after I get all that power?Say, are you sure you trust me with so much power?[Seiji]

-Yeah, since you are the son of Zagan and my best friend, I have no choice but to trust you.[Raijin]

-Geez, that trust of your's is going to be your downfall one day. But I guess you thought it trough so I'll follow your plans for now.[Seiji]

-Thanks buddy?[Raijin]

-Uhh, what power were you talking about just now? I know Seiji is one of the strongest people in the world but what was that about getting more power?[Ignea]

-You see, each of the beings that have reached X-class also have some kind of sacred treasure or weapon that also holds immensely powerful abilities. There are very few people who ever managed to reach such power and there are even fewer in our day and age: Seiji who is the demon king Draco, Alastair the former hero of the gods and current head of the church, Syn the dragon king, Shin the current hero of the gods and right hand of the Northern emperor and finally the northern emperor himself. A total of five people of the 7 billion living in this world have managed to get achieve such power. And their tools are just as impressive, we were talking about Seiji gaining more power because of his tool, the legendary demon sword of the first omen.[Raijin]

-And what does that have to do with more power?[Ignea]

-While using the sword my power doubles, but more important is it's ability, the more people I kill with it, the stronger I get, and I also get their power and abilities upon doing so, in contrast the hero's holy sword only get's a power up from all the people he defeats meaning he doesn't have to kill them while the sword also heals him and steals magic power from the opponent.[Seiji]

-Isn't that like to OP or something? I mean how were such things created?[Ignea]

-My sword was created a few thousand years ago by the magic power of the dying demon king and dragon king while the holly sword was created a few hundred years ago from the blood of a goddess that protects this kingdom.[Seiji]

-That's amazing.[Ignea]
