Tatsuya immediately felt something change around his body, an uncomfortable suffocating feeling spread throughout his body.
Feeling the change in his body, he immediately tried using [Elemental sight] on himself, to quickly figure out what was wrong with him.
The users of [Elemental Sight] can specify the Eidos of their surroundings individually, regardless of distance, physical obstacles with greater details about Eidos Information. They can easily identify the Eidos of targets, allowing for precision aiming at long distances.
In short, The "Eyes of the Spirits" — "Elemental Sight" refers to the ability to identify the "landscape (colour)" of the information dimension.
'What!?....' Confusion filled his brain as he tried accessing his ability to interact with the Eidos. Unfortunately for Tatsuya, his abilities that dominated his nature calculation area, preventing him from using any other magic, were sealed by the figure.
Knowing that Tatsuya was extremely skilled in close combat, Ninjutsu, Chi-Manipulation and had a sturdy body, the figure didn't hesitate before raising a [Customized M-9 Gun] and firing a few rounds of [Reinforced Bullets].
Tatsuya in his [Covert-Mobile suit] immediately dodged as he tried to use [Decomposition] attack the figure wearing the skull mask.
'What is happening...' Tatsuya was once again met with the same suffocating feeling as he felt when he tried to use [Elemental Sight]. He just couldn't use his abilities to combat his opponent.
He immediately raised his Gun-like C.A.D and pointed towards the skull masked figure.
From what was happening around him, Tatsuya knew that somehow he couldn't access his natural innate abilities and his natural calculation area was practically useless at this point of the fight.
Now he could either engage in close-combat with the skull masked figure or engage in a spell exchange using his secondary magic calculation area which was implanted into his brain by his aunt and mother, at the cost of his emotions.
Engaging in close combat with the skull masked figure seemed quite dangerous. Even though Tatsuya knew about his skill level, mastery in Chi-manipulation and Ninjutsu, he also trusted his instincts very much.
And his instincts were screaming at him to avoid engaging in close-combat with the figure in front of him.
Thus, he decided to fight in a spell exchange, Tatsuya was below average in casting when using any other system of magic, other than his innate abilities.
But apparently, he also was a fucking [Superpower User] which allowed him to boost his cast speed at the expense of variety in Systematic-type of Magic.
Seriously, the author of this world had every intention to make the Mc totally broken.
Tatsuya pulled the trigger and launched [Compound waves] at astonishing speed due to him utilizing his [Superpower], he knew the casting speed of his enemy was higher than his own even when at 100% of his power, thus he sacrificed variety for speed.
Unfortunately, Tatsuya had no idea about the power of [Hollow's touch]. The figure extended his right hand forward as he ran straight into the incoming magic.
While the incoming spell wasn't lethal, it wasn't something to be jumped into. Fortunately, the figure could completely absorb magic spells under a certain limit.
Holding his [Customized M-9 pistol], the figure blitz towards Tatsuya, tearing right through his magic.
The spell impacted his body but was absorbed by [Hollow's touch], after successfully negating the spell, the figure jumped forward and smashed his foot on top of Tatsuya's head with considerable strength.
Like a master-combatant, Tatsuya side-steps and incoming blow and throws a side-chop towards the skull masked figure.
The skull masked figure leaned back to avoid the chop before kicking towards Tatsuya left knee, who tactically stepped back before launching a mid-sweep with his left leg.
The figure used his elbow to counter the incoming knee, both of the attacks made contact with each other, causing the wind around them to blow outwards due to the extensive pressure generated by the blows.
The figure's attack was induced with [Hollow's touch], causing Tatsuya's leg to go numb even though he was protected by the [Covert-Mobile suit].
Unfortunately, Tatsuya was a Chi-Manipulation master, causing a delay in the induced effect of the [Hollow's touch].
Knowing that he lost the first exchange, Tatsuya jumped back to create some distance between himself and the masked figure. He was going to use Chi and Ninjutsu to fight the skull masked opponent.
'He wouldn't let me use Magic, plus I can't beat him in close-combat so I must stall for others to arrive.....'
Tatsuya was going to become a damn cockroach until his squad arrived, but the figure was already expecting this.
He pulled out a [Throwing-Spike] (Hollow's touch) and a [Customized Flash-Grenade].
'This should finish the fight....'
The figure threw up the grenade and watched as it exploded in a flash of bright light.
'[Hollow's Eyes:-Copy Rebirth (Regrowth)]....'
'[Hollow's Body:-Shadow Manipulation]....'
'[Hollow's Touch:-Throwing Spikes]...'
'[Presence Concealment]...'
Stacking the multiple abilities, the figure submerged into his shadow. The grenade that exploded was a flash-grenade when a flash-grenade explodes, it gives off an intense light, unfortunately for Tatsuya, Light means shadow as the shadow is cast when light doesn't pass through an object.
The explosion of light from the grenade casts a shadow behind Tatsuya, who is stunned by the flash even though he was wearing [Covert-Mobile Suit].
The skull masked figure appeared from Tatsuya's shadow, due to the skill [Presence concealment], the figure escaped from Tatsuya's range and appeared beside him with a spike in his left hand.
He turned his body and stabbed the spike straight into Tatsuya's kidney through his armour, the spike had [Ignore Defense] enchantment.
"Arrgghhh!!!...." The Hollow's Touch damaged the soul itself, causing the emotionless Tatsuya to scream in pain and he felt veins popping all over his stomach.
The figure twisted the spike and drove his knee straight into the fresh wound on Tatsuya's left side.
"Gwarrgh...!!"
*Thud*
Without a crashing sound, Tatsuya was sent tumbling on the floor. The figure flicked of the blood from his spike and pointed his [Customed M-9 Gun] towards Tatsuya, intending to finish him off.
[Side Mission (Part-2):-
•Kill/Defeat Tatsuya and copy his ability (Regrowth).
•Status:-Completed
•Reward:-Increased Speed for Shadow Manipulation.]

'I should kill him lest he becomes a nuisance in the future...'
'Probably would need to take care of his sister as well.....'
Just as the I was about to pull the trigger, I had to suddenly jump back as the place where I was standing was bombarded with machine guns.
'Looks like they are finally here...!?'
Taking out another [Customized Flash-grenade], I quickly retreated into the shadow and headed away from the warehouse.
Killing Tatsuya in presence of 101-battalion was not possible since my abilities could only be utilized best when faced against a single enemy.
Not to mention that he staying alive wouldn't effect me for now. Plus even if he heals the physical injuries I inflicted on him, he wouldnt be able to heal the soul, causing scars to form over it.
'That left kidney spot has now become his weak-spot, a spot which would cause him intense agony when attacked at.....'
'I have already finished my mission and have received my payment. Its time for me to relax for a few years now.....'
'Time to go to First High-School.....'

(A/N:-Tatsuya is very strong and powerful but in one-on-one, our Mc is unbeatable and once he gets [Elemental sight] from Minoru, he will become absolutely broken.)
