46 Chapter:46 Killing Daichi pt-5

(A/N:-A lot of you have been complaining about using Naruto names, let me get this straight, I will use whatever name I want to use, you have a problem with that, feel free to drop the novel. I don't ask for stones or anything cause I don't care about it, I just want to write a good story and better myself.)

"They are probably behind this door, the opera room is the biggest room within this hotel and will be an advantage to them considering its design..."

Katsuto and Erik stood in front of the entrance to the opera room located on the 12th floor. The whole structure had three entries but two of them were sealed off by the attackers, leaving only the main door available.

Katsuto wore tactical equipment that he took from one of the attackers, as an extra layer of protection from the [Anti-Magic Bullet].

Whereas Erik was still wearing his suit and shoulder cape, while it did hinder his mobility, the cape could be used as a shield after reinforcing it using [Data-Fortification].

Both Erik and Katsuto knew for a fact that Daichi and the attackers would be waiting for them beyond the main door and they were prepared for the upcoming battle.

"Indeed! Just a sec, let me cast a few spells on myself to increase my combat efficiency....."

"[Terpsichora]...."

A crimson aura surrounded Erik's body, the pressure emitted by his body instantly 10x, the sheer size of the aura wasn't too overwhelming but the composition of his aura of incredible dense.

A terrifying clownesque puppeteer formed above Erik's body, the construct was huge and extremely eerie-looking, giving off a heinous aura.

Erik's ability not only allowed him to make others his puppets but also turn into a puppet himself, thus the spider tattoo with the number zero could be seen of his back.

By turning into a puppet, Erik could surpass the limits of his human body and brain and experience a tremendously physical power-up along with terrifying reflexes.

Erik's body tightened, his muscles contracted as much as possible and a bunch of veins could be seen all over his motor-features. His body held a powerful tension within itself.

Multiple strings were attached to various parts of Erik's body, he resembled a puppet due to his mechanical flexibility and enhanced physical parameters.

'W-What Ki-Kind of A-Ancient Magic is t-this!?.....'

Normally, no magician should be able to see the clown floating above Erik's figure, Katsuto was by no means a normal magician, his ability to see the "truth" also allowed him to perceive the creature floating above Erik.

'Judging from obviously visible changes to Erik's body, it will be safe to say that this ancient magic boosts his physical parameters...'

'A handy spell indeed! especially considering our current situation...'

"This will help me avoid bullets and react faster! Now a shield would be convenient...."

"[Data-Fortification]..."

A magic circle appeared around Erik's left hand, he held his pocket watch within his left palm as he casts a simple but powerful [Data-Fortification] spell onto his shoulder cape and pauldron.

"Nice! With the level of fortification you used, it should protect you for most of the bullets for some time..."

Katsuto was very impressed by the level of magic Erik displayed in front of him, using an ancient spell and modern magic in the nearly same time was truly outlandish considering the fact that ancient magic was slower than modern magic.

"Hmm...let's proceed!"

"Ok....."

Both Erik and Katsuto adopted a serious look as they entered the opera, handing holding their C.A.D, ready to fight a horde of attackers.

ℂ𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕜! (Creak!)

The door seemed a bit old or slightly damaged, probably the reason behind it to make an eerie wood creaking noise as it opened up, revealing a path to the stage.

Katsuto and Erik looked around, trying to spot the attackers and get a rough understanding of their advantages and disadvantages.

𝕊𝕥𝕖𝕡! (Step!)

"So you finally decided to show up, Katsuto? Saves me the trouble to hunt you down....."

Daichi stood straight on the stage of the opera hall, wearing similar tactical equipment over his body along with a magic enhancer.

He had a malicious smile on his face as he raised his right hand and snapped his figures.

𝕋𝕙𝕦𝕞𝕡! (Thump!)

Sound of marching boots resounded throughout the opera, rows of soldiers surround Erik and Katsuto from the upper seats, wearing similar equipment and guns as used by the army.

ℂ𝕝𝕚𝕔𝕜! (Click!)

Immediately they took an aim at the two magicians standing below them, ready to fire at a moments notice.

"Today is the day you die! Katsuto!..."

"We will see about....."

"Tsk!...fire!"

𝔹𝕒𝕟𝕘! (Bang!)

The attackers immediately pulled the trigger, a hail of bullet assaulted the two magicians.

"Humph!....."

Raising his hands outwards, Katsuto blasted off a rather huge [Phalanx] to deflect the incoming [Anti-Magic Bullets]. The swift movement of his magic allowed the force field to reach the bullets faster than the bullet themselves.

𝕋𝕚𝕟𝕘! (Ting!)

The bullets were successfully deflected by Katsuto's magic, using this opportunity to his own favour.

Erik immediately injects Psion into his C.A.D, causing a magic sequence to appear beneath both of them, a range of effect of his magic was quite big, covering all of the opera room.

"[Convergence Type-Magic:-Great Frozen Tree]...."

The temperature immediately dropped as massive chunks of ice appeared from the atmosphere.

Water molecules within the air condensed due to the loss of kinetic energy, into the water before freezing to form ice, using the airflow to shape the freezing water the constructing a structure representing a huge tree was made possible.

The branches of the tree seemed to be alive as they immediately moved towards the attackers.

The whole structure was made of ice and had sharp edges which could easily slice apart a human being, not to mention that the tree seemed to have pre-defined attack pattern.

More and more branches started emerging from the pre-existing branches, causing the terrifying tree to grow even bigger.

𝔹𝕒𝕞! (Bam!)

𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣! (Shatter!)

Before the terrifying branches could reach the attackers, a powerful force field impacted the ice structure, directly breaking all the branches that were closing in on the attackers.

The massive tree directly replaced the broken branches with the new one but even then it was once again broken by the same force field.

"Tsk!....."

A terrifying spatial slash was launched towards the trunk of the massive tree, and it would have, without a doubt ripped apart the tree but before it could connect with the ice structure, a force field appeared in front of the spatial attack and successfully blocked it.

𝔹𝕒𝕟𝕘! (Bang!)

Erik jumps back with extreme speed as the place where he was standing a second ago was assaulted with a barrage of bullets.

"Hmm....this will be quite troublesome."

Daichi was using his magic defensively while the attackers were the main firepower of the enemy side, he wanted to conserve his magic and slowly wore out the two magicians before confronting then using his own magic.

The [Anti-Magic bullet] was lethal to a magician, both Katsuto and Erik had to avoid getting hit by it no matter what while also trying to avoid Daichi's spatial slashes.

With Erik suppressing most of his powers, his options were limited but he had a plan to deal with the enemy.
