Chapter-138 The Competition Begins pt-14
"No problem, Su-chan." (Mayumi)
"I will go and get him." (Mayumi)
"Alright!" (Suzune)

Mayumi made her way towards the outer-corridor to find Erik and bring him to the [Meeting-Room].
It was very important for all older-students to attend the meeting so that a plan could be put forth to combat the [Newcomer's Division].
Unfortunately for Mayumi, her timing was really bad!
*crash!*
*snap*
"Arghh!" (Mob.1)
A shadow flew past her and hit the wall!
The snap followed by a painful scream echoed throughout the corridor as it was crystal clear that someone had their bone broken.
Mayumi immediately turned to look at the shadow which resembled a man in army uniform.
The said man was in agony!
He struggled to breathe as he tried to move his limp, broken arms; pushing himself to his feet through sheer will!
Mayumi quickly moved to help stabilize the man as he took out a handkerchief from her uniform before tearing it into two halves!
She expertly wrapped the makeshift bandages around the man's bleeding head and shoulder.
"Can you hear me? What happened to you?" (Mayumi)
She hurriedly looked around to figure out the source of this event, and she found it!
"Damn these [Generators]!" (Mob.2)
"Dodge it! Quick!" (Mob.3)
"Clear out the people! Now!" (Mob.4)
"Set up a perimeter and request back-up! We don't know how many of those motherfuckers are there!"
(Mob.5)
Multiple men and women donned in army uniforms could be seen engaging in combat against a bulky man wearing black glasses and a matching suit.
The army personnel was all magicians using multiple spells to fight against the man with the black glasses.
Even after having the numerical advantage, the enemy was skillfully dodging every spell thrown at him!
Using the debris of the demolished corridor as his cover.
He would counter-attack using lethal spells that the army personnel had to defend against.
The fight was in a stalemate for now, but it was clear that the man with the black-glasses was at an advantage.
*cough*
"He...i-is..a..Ge..Gen...era...tor!"
(Mob.6)
"What do you mean!?" (Mayumi)
Mayumi questioned!
But the man had already lost consciousness due to his rather serious injuries.
She hastily used her magic to help freeze the blood over the wound so that the blood could clot and the bleeding would stop.
Turning towards the source of all chaos, Mayumi had a serious expression on her face!
She raised her CAD towards the attacker and activated her magic!
"[Covergence-Type:-Hale-Particles]
*crackle*
An activation sequence appeared around the attacker, taking him by surprise as multiple ice-shards were launched towards him!
Even so, he was no pushover!
"[Weight-Type:-Float projection]"
*zoommm*
Thinking quickly, he activated his magic and manipulated the debris as his shield.
Unfortunately for him, Mayumi didn't let up!
Multiple magic sequences appeared all around the attacker as more and more ice-shards of carbon-dioxide were launched towards him.
*crackle*
"That's it! This is our chance!" (Mob.2)
"Use your magic to deal with him!" (Mob.3)
With Mayumi in the mix, the pressure on the army personnel lessened considerably!
Immediately the trained soldiers raised their CAD towards [Generator] and started activating their binding spells.
*crash!*
Unfortunately for them, doing so wasn't going to be so easy!
"[Weight-Type:-Deep pit]" (Generator)
His arm glowed with magic, the activation sequence could be seen coiling against him!
He threw a fist towards the ceiling...
...and it broke apart!
Two figures fell from the upper floor to their floor, both of these figures were well-built men wearing a similar outfit as the [Generator].
The [Generator], knowing that he was at a disadvantage had to even the odds!
Fortunately, following behind the two [Generator]. Two more individuals jumped to the lower floor.
Seeing both of these individuals, a relieved smile emerged on the army personnel's faces.
"You are not injured right, Sis Mayumi?" (Naotsugu)
One of them asked Mayumi if she was alright; while keeping his eyes on the enemy.
"Fortunately, no..." (Mayumi)
Mayumi replied in a light tone as she lowered her hand and stopped using her magic.
"Commander!" (Mob.4)
The army personnel was also excited to see their Commander arrive at the conflict site.
"Hm..." (Yanagi)
The other man just nodded.
These two individuals were, Commander Yanagi and Chiba Naotsugu.
The former had known of the latter's presence today in the arena, thus as a higher official; he ordered him to help with deal with the [Generators] so that the damage could be minimized!
The plan was to deal with the situation without creating any commotion or panic within the public.
Yanagi slightly turned his head to the side so that he could gain a rough understanding of the situation and access his subordinate's injuries.
His eyes landed on Mayumi who had stopped using her magic since the arrival of the two military monsters.
'Looks like Ms. Saegusa helped in containing the [Generator] until now.' (Yanagi)
'From judging her magic sequence, I can safely conclude that it is surely a 5-layered magic pattern.' (Yanagi)
Yanagi immediately knew what layer of the magic pattern was she wielding against the [Generator].
He was a high ranking official with a lot of knowledge on Systematic-Type magic and different magic patterns.
So it was well within his right and capacity to say that Mayumi's talent was praiseworthy!
But it wasn't why he was impressed by her!
He looked at the soldier lying unconscious on the ground next to her; with makeshift bandages over his wounds to stop the bleeding.
'He could have died had she not temporarily stopped the bleeding using her magic.' (Yanagi)
'Never expected to see a genuine magician other than Tatsuya; from the [Ten-Masters Clan].' (Yanagi)
'A surprise indeed! But a pleasant one!' (Yanagi)
"Report!" (Yanagi)
Yanagi thundered while keeping his eyes on the three [Generators] in front of him.
Hearing his loud voice, one of the army men spoke up.
"Yes, Commander! Few of our members are severely injured and are being treated by the medical magicians as of now." (Mob.2)
"We have managed to isolate this area and evacuate the people in the vicinity of the corridors." (Mob.2)
"We have also established a parameter around the stadium to prevent any attacker from escaping!" (Mob.2)
"Good!" (Yanagi)
Saying this he burst into action and dashed towards the three [Generators]; Naotsugu following closely behind.
"[Acceleration-Type:-Haste]" (Yanagi)
Green pale light covered the commander's body as his speed 6× in an instant!
"New objective! Kill everyone!" (Generator)
A tense atmosphere permeated the area!
This fight wasn't going to be easy!
Especially due to the arrival of two more [Generators].
A baleful psion burst forth the three Generator's body as they too rushed towards the incoming opponents.
"[Data-Fortification:-Accel Punch]" (Generator)
One of the generator's fist glowed with purple light as the psion solidified around his arms.
Yanagi, with his combat experience, was able to predict the incoming opponent's application of force.
"[Revolution and Return]" (Yanagi)
He focused on the incoming fist and tightly grabbed the wrist before lightly pulling it towards himself while twisting his body.
By combining physical techniques with magic to lure, amplify, and flip.
Yanagi threw the first generator into the second with thrice the amount of force he had to transfer while being a medium.
*crash!*
The force behind the throw was very great!
So much so that both of the [Generators] smashed into the broken wall.
Yanagi had sent the enemy flying by using minimum energy!
All thanks to his [Revolution and Return]!
Revolution & Return was a mixture of technique and magic.
It was used by predicting the opponent's application of force and combining physical techniques with magic to lure, amplify and flip.
Revolution was the spell, Return relied on internal ki.
For normal magicians, this much punishment would have been enough but their opponents were simple monsters!
Both of the two generators stood up from the debris within little to no damage taken by Yanagi's attack.
The last generator tried to attack Yanagi from the side but Naotsugu smashed a knee into his chin before delivering a spinning kick to the side of his head.
Sending the last one stumbling into the floor!
Blood flowed out of the generator's left ear but there was no change in the former's expression.
"Tch!" (Naotsugu)
Naotsugu was already angry at the [No-Head Dragon] and now that the situation had presented him with an opportunity to release!
Why wouldn't he!?

(Near pavilion)
Mizuki, Shizuku, Mikihiko, Erika, Leo, and the Shiba Siblings were interrupted by a loud bang that resounded near the corridor.
"What was that!?" (Leo)
"Did something happen!?" (Erika)
While both Leo and Erika had confused expressions on their faces, Tatsuya and Mikihiko immediately used their respective ways to check what was happening.
The former used his [Elemental Sight] while the latter used [Spirit-Tuning]; to gather information.
Tatsuya held her sister's hand to deliver the gathered information into her conscious using the connection between their minds.
Miyuki's eyes widened in surprise before a worried expression appeared on her face.
She was worried about the safety of her brother and friends.
*click!*
The doorknob was twisted open as Erik stepped within the room before closing the door behind him.
"No one will leave this room!" (Erik)
Erik spoke in a slightly raised tone as he moved towards Mari to wake her up and fill everyone in on the situation.
"What happened, Erik-nii!?" (Erika)
Erika was the one who spoke up and asked Erik if everything was ok?
"Few terrorists have infiltrated the place, currently the army personnel are fighting against the terrorists." (Erik)
"You all need to stay here while I go and get Mayumi." (Erik)
Saying so, Erik started to wake up, Mari so that he could leave their responsibility in her capable hands!
