12 Chapter-12: Suppressing the Fight pt-2
Soon, the three course-1 students surrounded the course-2 student who cautiously observed the three of them, his body tense and his left hand on his C.A.D.
His eyes narrowed at the person in front of him, adopting a vigilant body posture, ready to retaliate.
"Humph! Looks like you need to be taught to respect your superiors, you trash!...."
He immediately pulled out his hand-band type C.A.D and starting transfusing psion into it. A magic sequence appeared in his hand, he waved his hand forward while activating his magic.
"[Weight-Type Magic:-Press]...."
[Press] basically applying pressure on the target, like making someone kneel in front of you by increasing the gravitation pull over their body, it was a basic spell which didn't really have any offensive capabilities though could be used extremely effectively by magicians like Kudou Retsu.
The magic sequence appeared beneath the course-2 student's feet, causing him to frantically deploy his own magic to avoid [Press].
"[Acceleration-Type Magic:-Accel]
[Accel] was a spell when allowed the caster to accelerate an object to a higher speed, it could also be used on self, it basically increased dexterity.
Deploying the magic on himself, the course-2 student immediately avoided the [Press] by running towards the course-1 student. Knowing that he didn't stand a chance against course-1 student due to inferior magic, he curled his right palm into a fist and punched the course-1 student in the face.
"Now....!" Erik also motioned Mari to act as both the course-1 student and the course-2 student, had already broken one of the most important rules of the [Public Morals Committee].
→Using magic on school grounds was forbidden.
Mari immediately burst into action, in a blink of an eye, even before the other students could react, she was already behind one of the course-1 students. Striking the back of his neck with a side chop.
*Chop*
*Thud*
Being side-chopped by Mari caused the course-1 student's perception to blur as his body started falling down, a temporary shutdown of the brain sapped all his strength in an instant.
Mari tactically took-out anti-magic cuffs from the back of the pocket and restrained the student. It all happened so fast that others couldn't even register the events happening in front of their eyes.
In an instant, one of the three offenders was laying on the ground, groaning in pain with his hands behind his back.
"Wha—"
The other two course-1 students weren't able to react in time and as a result, one of their compliance was already on the ground.
Without wasting any time, Mari accelerated towards the next target who wasn't standing far away. Seeing the new individual attacking him, the course-1 student immediately activated his magic and started casting a spell.
Unfortunately for him, Mari was just too fast for him to complete his spell, by the time his spell structure was formed, she was already in front of him.
Mari quickly took out a baton from her side and smashed it straight into the other magician's stomach, effectively knocking out all the air within his lungs.
The last of the three course-1 students immediately activated his magic towards Mari's position, intending to retaliate against her and hopefully help his friends.
While activating his magic, his vision turned blurry and he felt the control over his body slip as he stumbled forward and was sent crashing into the ground.
Mari takes out two more cuffs from her possession and restrains the other two students. Effectively putting an end on the conflict.
Mari used [Air Manipulation] to control the airflow and currents to allow chemicals wafting from small containers in her possession to be combined and mixed for an assorted arrangement of effects such as drunkenness.
It was then sent as a smell into the opponent's nose that leads directly to various organs. This airborne attack was used in order to incapacitate an enemy or lower his/her combat capabilities.
Mari is a combat magician who specializes in anti-personnel Magic, boasting first-class magic combat ability.
Her advantage over others lies not in overwhelming magic power or swift activation speed, but in her versatility in multiple magic and her ability to combine them to simultaneously chain multiple magics, a high-class technique that is extremely difficult for her opponents to defend against.
In terms of anti-personnel combat, Mari's complexity and versatility put all others to shame. Her expertise lies in striking at exposed sensory organs, such as auditory and olfactory senses in order to take away an enemy's fighting ability using magic.
"Who the hell are you!!"
"[Public Morals Committee Enforcer], you three are restrained for breaking the rules, you will be presented before the committee to accept your punishment."
"The Fuck you saying!!..."
"What about that pipsqueak? Didn't he also get restrained!?..."
"He didn't attack you guys, all he did was to defend himself...."
"Bullshit...!"
"Okay everyone calm down now....." Erik moved towards Mari and the course-1 students, asking them to calm down as he dissolves the situation. His left hand still held the pocket watch, just in case someone tried something funny.
He looked at the three course-1 students on the ground and then turned his eyes towards the course-2 student.
"All four of you have broken the rule by using magic on school grounds, even though, one of you used it to protect himself and didn't intentionally hurt someone using magic."
"You all will be taken to the committee to further decide the punishment you four will receive."
"Do you all understand!?"
"...yes!"
"Good, Mari-san you can stop restraining them. Don't take off their cuffs but rather allow them to stand up."
"Hmm...."
Mari deactivated her magic and allowed the chemicals to leave their system, returning sobriety to their minds.
'Mari-san sure is impressive! Truly a crafty magician with high-skill level. Maybe if I didn't have [Hollow's Body] and [Hit's pressure punch], I wouldn't be confident to fight her one on one.'
"Okay everyone, please disperse and go on with your work!"
Juumonji and Mayumi had also left the table and helped disperse the crowd that hard surrounded Mari and Erik. Seeing individuals of Katsuto and Mayumi's status telling them to disperse, the others complied and the crowd dispersed.
"Thanks, Mayumi-san, Juumonji-san it was very kind of both of you to do that. We must try to minimise such events from taking place again, after today, this ought to decrease." After helping the three course-1 students stand up on their feet, Erik moved towards Katsuto and Mayumi, he thanked them for being sensible.
"Mention not Erik-san, this is what we ought to do...."
"Mayumi-san, can you head to the Public Morals Committee with Mari-san? I need to sort out the Recruitment Week details with the various clubs so I will be accompanying Juumonji-san to the Cross-Field Club."
"Sure...! Also, we haven't finished eating food yet so next time, you have to be on time ok!?"
"Sure Mayumi-san...."
"Juumonji-san, you too are invited to join us in our daily food breaks..."
"If that's so then I would surely accept your invitation..."
"Okay, let's get on with the things guys..."
"Mari-san, you take the four students to the committee, I will draft a summary and upload it on the server so that our entry will be registered along with the incident."
"Sure, you take care of technical formalities, I will take them to the committee...."
"Hmm...Much appreciated!"

(A/N:-What are your thoughts on the interaction between the characters? If they seem a bit not serious, that's because none of them has any high positions like they will have next year.)
(A/N:-I will slowly cultivate the feelings between Mayumi and Erik, by the start of the second year, Erik will be engaged to Mayumi but it will be slow romance.)
(A/N:-The Mc has two personalities basically, one is the normal polite student while other is a merciless killer. The second personality will soon be introduced when he will do side-missions mentioned in Skill Set Chapter.)
(A/N:-Basically, Mc's group of friends will be Suzune, Mayumi, Mari and Katsuto.)
(A/N:-The server °•The Coffee Shop•° was created with the intent to help authors find a well-organized server where they don't have to worry about creating multiple channels and handle the server.
