107 Chapter-106 The Nuclear Codes pt-7

Overhaul roared with a smirk as he watched his spikes about to skew the enemy!

An unpleasant feeling triggered by the perception of danger, real or imagined.
These words flawlessly portrayed, how Overhaul was feelings at the moment.
His powerful spell has been decimated by the newcomers with a single spell!
The thousands of spikes that he formed using a good chunk of his psion were useless!
He turned to look at his subordinates.
Each one of them lay dead on the ground as Naotsugu stabbed their heart with his invisible sword!
His whole day went from decent to the worst day of his life; in a span of a few hours.
And that wasn't even the worst part!
The root of his fear was the identity of the newcomer!
Mahesvara, the Demon of Okinawa!
Not many people in the world know about his existence but Overhaul wasn't some nobody.
He very well knew about the nightmare of the Great Asian Alliance soldiers, the ultimate enemy who single-handedly decimated their entire fleet!
His strange [Demon Right] and [Divine Left] made him invincible on the battlefield!
Anything touched by the [Demon Right] would burn and be reduced to dust!
While [Divine Left] healed any injury inflicted on his body!
Overhaul was absolutely terrified at the moment!
Only one thought was going through his mind!
'Why is he here!?'

"Chiba Erika and Chiba Naotsugu, you are ordered to retreat by the special forces division."
"Fall back, now!"
Yanagi and Tatsuya made their way towards the Chiba siblings; while maintaining a watchful eye on the enemy!
Yanagi wore simple army clothes whereas Tatsuya wore his [Mobile Suit]; to hide his identity in front of the Chiba siblings.
Naotsugu turned to look at Yanagi with a hard look, his bloodlust hasn't calmed down yet!
He wanted to bash Overhaul's head into a stone until it changed shape!
Erika felt the same as him!
She too was out for blood!
She wanted to seek vengeance on the person responsible for her brother's current condition!
Both the parties engaged in a short stare-off until Naotsugu finally relented and restrained Erika; just in case she couldn't control herself.
"Naotsugu-Nii san!?"
"Let it be, Erika. We can't intrude into the business of the special forces, we have already avenged Toshikazu-Nii san, now there is no reason for us to continue."
"No! He still lives!"
"Why does he get to live while our brother lays 'dead' in the hospital!?"
"How is it fair!?"
Erika struggled to break free from Naotsugu's restraint but unfortunately for her, it wasn't possible to do so with her current strength.
"Well, you don't really need to worry about what will happen to him. Once we get what we want, Kyouko-san will probably handle him herself!"
"Have patience for now!"
Yanagi and Naotsugu of course had some past dealings with each other.
After all, both of them were from special units in the army while also being indirectly connected through Kyouko.
The former promised to the Chiba Siblings that he knew for a fact that once Kyouko is back on board; Overhaul's life would be worse than hell!
After all, a woman could go through great lengths to hurt though who hurt her first!

Tatsuya didn't join in on the conversation and simply observed the enemy while thinking about the best way to subdue the enemy without much trouble.
He thought to himself.
'I must knock him unconscious even before he can do anything!'
'I have to be decisive and fast!'
'Judging from his expression, he is probably thinking about the various outcomes using which he may escape alive.'
'The only advantage he has right now is his unknown ability, the reason for his moniker as [The Puppet Master].'
'Let's see his this goes, if I can't subdue him then I will eliminate him!'

Overhaul didn't give up after even after one of his strongest magic failed to accomplish anything!
He swiftly waved his C.A.D towards Tatsuya and Co.
Once again multiple spikes emerged from the ground; moving towards the target at high speeds!
"[Mist Dispersion]"
Once again, lots of psion gathered around Tatsuya as he simply demolished the incoming spikes and even disrupted Overhaul's nature magic resistance.
Overhaul tried to attack the target from many directions; coupled with many amounts of techniques.
Yet!
Even that couldn't faze Tatsuya who simply spammed with [Decomposition].

'Is this it!?'
'Is this the end of my life!?'
'Is this how I will die!?'
'No!'
'I refuse to believe this!'
'I can't die!'
'Not until I have achieved everything I wished for!'
'Not until I destroy the Yotsuba Family for what they did to my country!'
'Not yet!'
Overhaul contemplated whether he should surrender and preserve his life or fight and die!
He knew for a fact that no matter whatever route he decides on...
...he wouldn't be escaping, tonight!
'If this is it, then I will not have any regrets!'
Bang!
Overhaul suddenly kicked the broken plaque mask that had been lying broken on the ground beside his feet.
The broken mask was launched into the air by his kick and immediately after a couple of seconds; tons of smoke burst out of the mask!
'I will not give up!'
Tatsuya immediately acted!
He raised his [Trident C.A.D] and aimed at Overhaul through the smoke.
He had used [Elemental Sight] to pinpoint the enemy's location.
While his suit indeed had a thermal sensor; unfortunately the smoke being released from the broken mask was no normal smoke!
Click!
[Systematic Magic:-Compound Shockwaves]
A magic circle appeared underneath Tatsuya's feet as psion converged into the barrel of his gun-shaped C.A.D.
A bunch of compound shockwaves was launched towards the enemy; through the smoke!
Unfortunately, Overhaul wasn't an idiot!
Bam!
The shockwaves impacted a wall of earth and created deep depression on the walls yet they managed to serve their purpose of buying time for Overhaul's final magic!
"Since you all are so willing to die! I will gladly oblige!"
A sinisterly dark aura burst forth his body as he covered the whole empty park in a heartbeat!

"Black is the color of womb and tomb..."
"We meet at night on the dark of the moon..."
"White is the color of bone and ash..."
"To speak to the dead we bathe and fast..."
"Red is the color of blood and death..."
"We rub the bones and give them breath!"
Ancient chants echoed throughout the abandoned park as all of Overhaul's remaining psion started solidifying inside his magic circle.
The earth wall gave him just enough time to activate his last stand!
Clap!
Overhaul smashed his palm together and yelled at the top of his lungs!
"[Ancient Magic:-Reanimation Magic]!"
Crackle!
A small tremor shook the park as multiple web cracks appeared on the ground.
Snap!
Multiple caskets, one by one burst through the surface; appeared all over the park!
"Hahaha! Since I will die shortly after using this magic..."
"...why don't you guys also join me in the afterlife!"
