The Ninja Academy

1 year later…

An old man woke up and stretched while yawning, he got ready for work; he was an owner of a small shop in the village.

'Well, I better get the shop open.' He opened his door.

"Huh?" Looking around, they covered everything in paint and graffiti.

"Hahaha!" The sound of two kids laughing and they ran away.

"Hey, it's those two kids again!" Another neighbor complained.

"Nice one!" Naruto said to me.

"Those two kids are so bothersome."

"Yeah, and they don't even have parents, so we have no one to complain about!"

We ran away laughing and celebrating after another successful prank on them.

Soon we reached our home and entered.

"Man, that was so fun!"

"You're right, did you hear how mad they were?"

"Out pranking the villagers again?" Kakashi was reading a book as he asked.

Naruto and I looked at each other, we gulped knowing it was another tiresome scolding from big brother.

This was the third time in a week.

The worst part of this was being in the same room with him, we'd look at each other for a second and feel like laughing.

"Sigh."

'They aren't even listening.'

Kakashi gave up and left the room.

"Hahaha!" They both burst out laughing.

"May I come in?" Lord third asked as he entered.

"Here's this month's allowance."

He placed it on the table.

"Make sure you spend it wisely."

He walked away.

"Hold on," Naruto said.

"Hmm?" Hiruzen turned around.

"Tell me about them, tell me all about my mum and dad."

He nodded.

"I'm certain that I've told you before, although it was quite some time ago."

"I don't mean that! You're talking about when the nine-tailed fox ran a muck, aren't you?

I already know plenty about how it attacked the village and killed tons of people, including our parents.

But that stuff isn't what I'm asking you to tell me about now! What I wanna know is, just who were our parents? Really!"

He walked away.

"There's no use asking such questions, it won't bring back the dead," Hiruzen said as he left.

"We can't keep the truth from him forever."

Kakashi said.

He was reading a book while leaning on the wall.

"We're keeping him safe by keeping this from him," Hiruzen responded before leaving.

Kakashi closed his book and glanced beside him.

"I know you're there, stop hiding.

Lord third can't smell you, but I can."

Tsuki revealed himself beside Kakashi.

"I see we have not wasted our time training, your ninjutsu has improved."

"Why are you and Lord third hiding our parents from us?"

"Didn't you hear, it's keeping you safe."

"You're not helping us, actually I don't care about my parents. I only care about Naruto and his problems, you're just creating a void inside his heart.

But… If you don't tell him, I will, I already figured it out when I did my research on the night the nine tails attacked the village, then I added the pieces of the puzzle together.

It wouldn't make sense for Lord fourth to have a random child in the middle of the forest, adding to that is the strange chakra that's inside Naruto, I can see it using my eyes plus they have the same hair colour so…

I might just tell him." I folded my hands and looked away.

Kakashi looked at Tsuki and tried to keep his composure.

'It's hard to believe he's a child, being able to figure out who Naruto's parents were with little to no information.'

"Don't expect me to keep this a secret for long, I'll tell Naruto because he's my friend and deserves to know the truth, I may not tell him now or tomorrow, but I will tell him."

After saying that, I left to go get Naruto, today was a special day for us.

"Naruto, hurry, we're gonna be late if you take any longer!" He was changing his shirt.

"Come on, Sasuke is probably there already!"

We jumped through the window and rushed to the academy.

We shortly arrived at the academy.

While we walked through the corridor, I felt everyone's distant gaze aiming directly at us.

'Just, as usual, everyone is looking at us that way.' Tsuki frowned as he looked back at everyone.

People always looked away, seeing my eyes.

"Come on, there they are!" Naruto pulled me by the arm.

"You guys were almost late, you're such losers."

"Damn it, I'll beat you here next time Sasuke!" Naruto said as he stomped to his seat.

I went to my seat; I sat near Sasuke in the back row.

"Hey Sasuke, has Itachi taught you a new jutsu yet?" He shook his head.

"He's been busy with his work as a shinobi, but at least he and Shisui train together."

"I can't wait to meet Shisui of the body flicker. Are we still going?"

"Shut up for a minute, look ahead of us."

"Ahem!" A man coughed to get the attention of the class, he wore a green jacket and had a scar across the middle of his nose.

"Morning students of the academy, I'm your new sensei, my name is Iruka Umino.

First things first, introduce yourselves and the reason you all want to be shinobi."

A few people went before us, but later, it was Naruto's turn.

Naruto walked up to the middle of the class.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, and I want to be a shinobi because… I'm going to be Hokage! Believe it!" Naruto said as he pointed at his chest with a smile.

"Now, Tsuki Uzumaki." Tsuki walked up to the center of the classroom.

I could hear everyone whispering about my eyes, I saw them giving me an icy glare as I walked by.

'I have to admit, so far, Naruto does far better than I do in handling this. Since I have these eyes, I don't enjoy being the center of attention, good or bad. I'm a little bit nervous right now.'

As I thought that, I looked back at Naruto and Sasuke and gained some confidence.

"M-my name is Tsuki Uzumaki, I'm going to be the most powerful shinobi of all time, I'll prove to everyone else that I can be a hero too!"

After saying that, I headed back to my seat, Naruto gave me a high five as I walked back.

After a few more introductions, we were introduced to some topics and a few tests and after we were done; we left and went outside.

"Now for the next lesson, instead of just introducing yourselves, I want you to show your skills in ninjutsu."

"Awww!" Most of them moaned as they heard Ninjutsu.

"OK, don't worry, we're just gonna start with a basic clone jutsu, and the first up, uh, is Sasuke Uchiha." The girls all swooned hearing his name.

"You ready?" He asked.

Sasuke stepped forward.

"Wow, he's from the Uchiha clan?" A blond girl from the crowd asked.

"Yeah, he's an elite among elites." A pink-haired girl added.

Naruto gritted his teeth.

"Why do you always have to act so smug?! It's annoying!" He said as he pointed his finger.

"You think that you're so hot, then prove it!"

"Just did," Sasuke said, his clone was leaning on a tree, leaving Naruto and the others shocked.

"When did…"

Naruto was speechless.

"Wow, impressive," Iruka said.

"With this jutsu, if you attack the real one." Naruto charged at him.

"Wait, Naruto, that's not him!" I tried to warn him, but it was too late.

*Poof!* his clone dispersed into smoke and Naruto fell, hitting the tree.

"He's hopeless..." Iruka stated as he watched.

"Hey, get up." Tsuki and Sasuke helped him up.

"Why do you have to be such a loser all the time?" Sasuke asked as we helped Naruto walk.

"Well, I guess we'll have to move on now.

Next up, Tsuki Uzumaki."

The class went silent as Tsuki stepped forward.

They were whispering rumors about me and most were afraid to make eye contact with me.

The divine power of the Rinnegan radiated through him.

"Hey isn't that guy the kid who attacked the Hokage?" A pink-haired girl from the crowd asked.

"Yeah, I heard he has the Rinnegan, the most powerful Dōjutsu in existence."

The other one added.

She had blonde hair.

Tsuki frowned.

"Whenever you're ready." Tsuki nodded and weaved hand signs.

"Multi-Shadow clone jutsu!"

*Poof!* multiple clouds of smoke appeared as 50 clones were made and not even a drop of sweat broke from me.

Some clones sat on top of the class and trees.

"Woah, that's… impossible…" the entire area was filled with his clones and the entire class, including Iruka, was stunned.

"Is that even possible?" They were all so stunned by my display in Ninjutsu.

'Well, it's to be expected, Hokage-sama told me how talented this boy will be because of those eyes.' Iruka said to himself.

'Thanks to big brother Kakashi, I mastered this move.'

After the day was over, Tsuki, Naruto, and Sasuke walked back home.

"Just wait until tomorrow Sasuke, I'm going to beat you up!"

"Whatever." Sasuke coldly replied.

Naruto folded his hands.

"We all know the only person in our year who can beat me is Tsuki, he's the best at everything he does," Sasuke stated.

"Well, once Naruto and I finish our training, all three of us will be the most powerful shinobi in history, right, Naruto?"

He nodded.

"Believe it!"

"Anyway, can I come train with you and Itachi?"

Sasuke nodded.

"Let's go." Sasuke ran ahead, while I and Naruto followed him.

Meanwhile, Itachi was training with Shisui at the clan's training grounds, they had just finished their sparring session.

"So, how's Sasuke doing in the academy?"

Shisui asked.

"I'm sure he's fine, he trains a lot and has good friends to support him."

Shisui nodded.

"He respects his peers, mostly that child I told you about."

"Tsuki Uzumaki, right?" Itachi nodded.

'I'm glad Sasuke has him as a friend, he will challenge Sasuke and he will push him to become far stronger.

I don't have a doubt.'

Itachi said to himself.
