9 Misunderstandings

"Czar, shall we go?"

"Yes...Sure!" he responded, taking a glance at the siblings.

"What happened? Why is she talking that way? What did you tell?" Ace asked Tala, completely confused with the situation.

"She asked why I told her that flirting with her is dangerous. Of course, I didn't answer at first, but she was persistent. So, I told her that Alpha was planning to ask her hand for Czar and that I was afraid for him. I didn't lie, but bro, why is she angry at you?"

Understanding the situation, Ace sighing, catching his forehead.

He was afraid, but not of Alpha or Czar. He was frightened and worried that she would leave him later, even if attracted to him at that moment.

"Ace, is anything wrong?"

"No, you go ahead. I will be here for some time, later I will leave to the town to make a call to Uncle James."

Ace looked around, grinning his teeth, not understanding why his uncle sent Nina here, knowing that she would be the Alpha wife. The scent from her is so evident that she would be the bride of the next Alpha. She might be destinated wife, but this isn't the time. Czar's father is in perfect health, so there wouldn't be a need for her right at that moment.

Deciding to talk to James, he drove his big black car towards the town. "Uncle, Alpha is healthy. Why do you have to send the bride now?"

"Ace, let me tell you a secret, known only to the moonchild line members, the bride starts emitting that scent when the new Alpha is necessary."

"Do you mean the present Alpha might...?"

"I don't know, let's not jinx. Ace, I want you to stay until the new Alpha's mating process is complete."

"What? Why, me?" Ace fumbled, holding the mobile tightly on hearing the word-'mating'.

"Since Lily can't conceive, I need to transfer the rights and duties to someone. I don't think anyone is better than you to continue the moonchild line. Tala is still not mature enough."

"But uncle, I need to go."

"I know that you are busy, but this is important. Please!"

"Fine!! What should I do? I don't have much knowledge in this matter."

"Presently, make sure that Nina is safe, comfortable and habituated to the conditions there. Come here with Nina in the next week."

"I will think about it." Cutting the phone call, Ace looked frustrated and angry. He hit a stone near this leg hard that it disappeared into the air in a second.

***

"Czar, why didn't someone of you write a report instead of hiring?"

"Because very few members are educated in the village."

Nodding her head, she looked around, "Where are we going?"

"Didn't you say that you want to see the sea? You can't go in the night, but you can in the daytime."

Listening to his words, she understood how innocent, naive and kind, Czar was. He did everything based on other's wishes- his father wanted him to help her, he came; Nina wanted to see the beach, he decided to take her. Of course, food was an exemption, or maybe even then, he eats on the stomach's request.

However, Nina felt happy to visit the beach. Viewing the sea, she instantly jumped out as the vehicle. She slowed walked towards the sea, looking at the horizon.

The cool water hitting her feet was clear, then the water started becoming blue from the middle and turned to dark blue near the horizon. A flock of birds were flying in the air, above the sea in a V-shape. The sun was hiding under a thin layer of clouds, bringing out an orangish-yellow shade in the sky.

It was much much beautiful than Nina expected. But what made her surprised was that the beach was completely empty there was no one around except Czar. "Why isn't anyone here?"

"I think all got bored looking at the sea," Czar replied calmly.

"What? Will anyone get tired of this beautiful visual?" Nina replied, playing with water.

"Didn't you come here because you are tired of staying at one place?"

Nina raised her eyebrows and smiled, viewing the sea. She didn't expect humour from the foody boy. She felt like she was talking to a different person, who is nice, calm, humorous and kind. "Czar, do you know why your father asked you to meet me?"

"Hmm!"

Nina abruptly turned towards Czar, making her slip the second time in a day. Again she was caught and saved, but by a different person. But unlike in the morning, She was lifted in the arms, rotated half around and was placed in the sand.

"Are you fine?" Czar asked, looking into her eyes, which were also widely gazing at him. "Don't take me wrong! I just wanted to help you. By the way, I know that my father wants me to marry you, but I don't look at you that way. We aren't a match. I have studied only till fifth grade because Ace's mother forced all the children that education is important, while you are well educated, unlike me." Czar said, staring at her but put his head down, completing the sentence.

"No, it's not about education. I didn't get that vibe from you. And, I am sorry that I judged you based on the cover. You are a very kind and sweet guy, Czar. Why don't we become friends?" Nina smirked, putting her hand forward.

"Sure!" Czar replied, shaking her hand. "So, you concluded about me based on my eating, right?"

Nina nodded, and both of them laughed, looking at each other. "By the why do all the people eat that way?"

"That way?" Czar asked, deepening his gaze on her.

"Unpleasantly," she responded fast, closing her eyes.

Czar's smile disappeared, hearing that. "Maybe since we are uneducated. The educated ones eat normally. For example, all the members of the Ace family dine neatly and in a proper way."

Hearing Ace's name, she opened her eyes and instantly questioned, "Educated? In which field?"

Pressing his lips and moving it from left to right and then from right to left, "I don't know much about their study or job. Ace only comes here for the moon festival and leaves the next day, while Tala stays here all the time." He lied partially.

Knowing that Ace won't be staying made her heart tremble and all she could then think was - 'How to stop him?'

While Nina was banging her head for ideas to stop Ace, "Ace," Czar called out, seeing him standing on the road.

Ace walked towards them, "Hi!!" and they both high-fived.

"Why were you standing there alone without coming to us?" Czar asked Ace, resting his arm on his shoulder.

Nina's eyes narrowed and blinked, watching Czar and Ace's friendliness. She was piercing her looks on them, not understanding why they were so close.

"Hmm....I was about to, but stopped after seeing your heroic act and smiles," he replied calmly, looking at Nina.
