Chapter Thirty-Six
After flying for a few minutes on Talon's back I soon spotted a large village in the distance.
It was the same village that Leon and the Girls are currently residing in.
Upon hearing the flapping of wings the villagers who were doing their daily chores looked in and quickly started arming themselves once they saw the incoming intruder, me.
Once I landed with Talon I found that I was surrounded and soon Leon and the girls arrived.
"Boss?" the girls said in-game with confusion.
"Boss? You know this man?" Leon asked the girls.
"It's complicated but yes we know him, he won't cause any harm to the village or its people," April told Leon.
"Greetings, my name is Damian, I have come to trade," I greeted and explained my purpose for coming here.
"Greeting Trader Damian, please follow me to my home where we can talk," Leon greeted me.
I nodded and told Talon to stay while I followed Leon to his home.
But before I could even take a few steps I was surrounded by the girls who were asking me nonstop if they could play, touch, and interact with Talon, I agreed and warned them not to harm him or they would most certainly die under his Talons.
They agreed and swarmed Talon.
At first, I noticed that Talon was annoyed by the girls pestering him but soon Talon started accepting the affection the girls were showing him.
They petted his feathers and rubbed his beak.
I stopped looking towards them before following Leon to his home.
Soon we neared Leon's wooden hut and entered.
He gestured towards a chair and asked "What are you wanting to trade?"
"Do you have any Oil?" I asked.
"We do, what are you wanting to trade for it?" Leon asked.
"Mostly Blueprints and a few rare materials like Obsidian, Crystals, Rare Flowers, and Prime Meat," I told Leon as I took out the Flak Armor Blueprints and materials.
"Oh? What level are you if I may ask?" Leon asked.
[A/N: Remember they do not have a HUD so they cannot see his username and level]
"I am level 56," I told him honestly as I watched his eyes open in shock.
"Who are you with?" Leon asked.
"I am the Chieftan of The United," I told Leon the new name of the Tribe I own.
"The United?" I have never heard of them, are you a new tribe?" Leon asked.
"That's right, we are based not too far to the west of here, in fact, the girls you are training are members of my tribe," I told Leon honestly.
[A/N: The morning customers and Night-time customers are in the tribe]
"What? Aren't they new to the Island?" Leon asked.
"Yes, and so am I," I told Leon whose eyes widened in shock.
"You are new to the island as well?!" Leon asked in shock to which I replied with a nod.
"How did you reach such a high level in such a short amount of time?!" he asked surprised.
"My tribe is special...we are not like the other men and women that live on this island, we do not fear death and we level much faster than most," I told Leon.
"If you do not mind me asking, how many people are in your tribe?" Leon asked.
"25," I told Leon.
Although some would probably not tell Leon all of this I am not like them, I have spent hours listening and observing Leon, if I didn't trust he would keep this secret then I would have not come and traded with him in an attempt to gain his trust.
"Also if you don't mind me asking how did you manage to tame one of those big birds?" Leon asked.
"You mean the Argentavis?" I asked before Leon responded with a nod.
"Quite simple really, build a small two by four stone foundation then build two stone dinosaur gateways with reinforced gates before building doorways on the long side up and then build a stone ceiling, after that lure the argentavis into the cage and close the door on it, it can't escape and it allows you to easily shoot through the large opening through the doorways on the side with Tranq arrows," I told Leon who showed a shocked look.
"How long did this take you?" Leon asked.
"A few hours, why?" I asked.
"It took you only a few hours to tame one of the best flyers on the island?!" Leon asked shocked.
Wow...I was really destroying this guy's world...
"That's right," I told him.
He sighed and sat back in his chair with a weird expression on his face.
"Enough of that, Let's get back to business, so you wish to trade the blueprints and some of these rare materials for Oil?" Leon asked trying to forget our earlier conversation
"That's right," I told him.
"Then we have a deal, with those blueprints our hunting team will be much safer..." Leon told me.
We shook hands and I got myself some oil!
