16 Chapter Sixteen
"A portal? Where to?" Alice asked with curiosity.
"The Nether," I told them honestly.
"What's the nether?" Alice asked.
"It's best if you experience it for yourselves," I told them.
"How do we fix and activate the portal?" Alice asked.
"First make a 3 by 4 frame of obsidian or fix that portal right there with obsidian and then light the middle of the frame with a flint and steel," I told them before returning to my seat and watching them.
They did as I instructed and repaired the portal before picking up a flint and steel and striking a flame in the portal frame.
Suddenly warping purple energy filled the obsidian portal frame.
"What do we do now?" Alice asked.
"Stand in the portal, little warning, you will feel quite uncomfortable, also I suggest you gather a few stacks of cobblestone and diamond or iron gear," I informed them.
When I entered the nether in my Minecraft World I will admit...I hated it.
Since you are using the VR Helmet all of your character's feelings are directly given to the wearer's brain.
This means you will feel something even worse than a hangover when you teleport through the portal...
Luckily that feeling only lasts a few minutes.
Because of this, I switch to the mouse and keyboard whenever I have to enter the nether.
None of my customers use a mouse and keyboard due to the rarity of computers in this cultivation universe so they have all been playing through the VR Headset.

[Alice Shire POV]
We did as the boss suggested and gathered around 6 stacks of cobblestone and also equipped ourselves and 6 soldiers in full iron armor with shields and iron swords.
I also gathered iron tools like pickaxes, shovels, and axes.
We had no idea what this "Nether" was but I was going to make sure we are as prepared as possible.
We players would act as the vanguard while the soldiers would enter after us.
Although we can respawn the soldiers of our small town sadly cannot...
We also started strip mining for Diamonds so we could get some diamond equipment.
We have about 50 miners down in our mine underneath the town.
None of the Miners complained about it.
Why would they?
They get days off 3 large meals a day and days off!
We also make them comfortable homes with carpets, decorations, and nice comfortable beds!
"Everyone ready to go?" I asked my friends and the soldiers that would be coming with us.
"We are ready to go," April told me as the other nodded in agreement.
"Okay, we don't know what to expect when we enter the nether, make sure to stick together and to be on guard at all times!" I told my friends as I stepped into the portal.
Suddenly I felt a nauseating feeling so bad that I wanted to throw up!
Then I felt an awful headache!
It kept getting worse until I suddenly heard a loud warping sound...
I stumbled out of the portal and found myself standing in what appeared to be a cave with red walls...
A heatwave hit my body and a smell of sulfur attacked my senses and I couldn't help but think "Am I in a volcano?!"
Quickly my friends entered through the portal feeling the same awful feeling from the portal...
"My god! I am going to throw up!" Sofia shouted...
"If you're going to throw up do it outside of my cafe!" I heard the boss shout at us outside of the game.
One by one my five friends entered through the portal with the soldiers coming in last.
We all felt horrible...
After a few minutes of sitting and waiting by the portal, the horrible feeling went away...
"What is this place?" I asked my friends while looking around this red cave.
"I think we are in some kind of volcano, don't yall smell the sulfur? Not to mention the heat." Sofia replied.
"Okay, lets first build an outpost here at the portal and prepare a few beds for us to respawn," I told everyone.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." the boss told us.
"Why?" I asked the boss outside of the game.
"I guess you will find that out yourselves, but fare warning keep the NPC's away from the bed if you don't want to take any losses." Boss told us.
'What could a bed possibly do?' I thought to myself.

[Damian's POV]
I laughed internally as Alice stood a good distance away from everyone with nothing in her inventory.
In front of Alice was a red bed...
She nodded to her friends and tried laying down in the bed.
Boom!
Suddenly an explosion occurred when she fully laid in the bed!
The girls screamed as Alice's body parts flew everywhere and splashed her surroundings with blood and gore!
Out of everyone Alice screamed the loudest from the pain that overwhelmed her senses for a few seconds.
