43 Chapter Forty-Three
[A/N: I have some news for you all, once we reach 50 chapters in the novel I will be taking a month or two break so I can refresh my ideas and hopefully better your reading experience, I will post the next chapter when I'm done with editing it]
The day soon passed and the nighttime customers left.
I soon awoke the next morning and did my usual morning things.
I ate breakfast in the market district before returning to the cafe and opening it up for business.
As usual, my morning customers arrived, but today was different.
Walking besides Jack, the young prince, was a woman of similar age.
"Greetings, Boss, this is my younger sister, Ruby, and her two maids." Jack introduced me to the girl.
So Jack is the older brother?
"Brother, what exactly is sold here? Father won't even tell me and neither will Uncle Alex," she asked her brother.
"It's...hard to explain," the young prince told his younger sister.
The young prince led his sister to a computer where she registered her account while Alex paid.
The young princes simply named her account "Princess Ruby"...
The maids also joined the game under the command of the young princess.
Soon all of my morning customers logged onto Ark Survival Evolved.
More and more of the islanders were learning of our tribe's presence on the island and the rise of our strength.
Unfortunately, the raiders and bandits of the island started targeting us.
Heck, a small tribe of raiders tried to raid us while I was the only one online.
Unluckily for them, I had a newly tamed T-Rex to try out.
And let's just say that after that raid the small raider tribes no longer dare to think of raiding us.
Of course, the raider tribes with around 50 members still dared to attack us but by the time they raided us I have tamed another rex.
After that? No more raids.
But they still try to ambush us in the wild.
Sigh...I need to gain a lot more Tranqs so I can tame a few more rexes.
The levels of the rexes that I have tamed range from level 180-300.
The hardest thing about taming Rexs is the amount of time it takes to tame them.
It takes a few hours and in those hours I have to make sure it stays asleep and that it's safe from danger, which makes it quite difficult to do so when I am constantly getting ambushed.
I warned the morning customers of our circumstances and told them that they should try to increase their strength as fast as possible.
Jack searched for the newly spawned sister of his and made sure to bring some clothes...
For some reason every time a girl spawns in Ark they scream once they discover they are almost fully naked...
Nothing is worse than hearing three screams of surprise from young women in a small room...
I leaned back into my chair in the cafe and looked at everyone who was doing their own thing.
Jack and his sister were trading with other tribes for the locations of the survivor notes, Alex and Mike were trying to get stronger and tame more creatures, Gandalf and Old Mathews, were to my surprise, farming and building, and David was focusing on learning how to fight, David and his friends have been working as Mercenaries just like the real-life and were getting paid to do various things by other tribes.
Soon word got out to the other tribes of the island that we were 'immortal' and somehow could not die.
Well, we die, it's just that we come back.
Now most of the time the bandits that have been ambushing us have backed off in fear of our retaliation.
