19 CHAPTER XVIII

Katherine's POV

"What are you looking at stupid?" I asked the terrified Eros in front of me.

What's wrong with him?

"Yo-you!! What are you even doing with my-y comics, huh?!!" The infuriation is evident in his voice however he almost stutter every word.

What is happening to this moron?

I raise a brow at him and sigh."Geeze I am so bored in here...So I look for something that can entertain me at least." I simply explain to him. He walks closer to me and pushes me away from the shelves. "Oy! Are you really that worried that I might break some of your things!! Plus the mangas on the shelves aren't even that expensive. In fact, I saw a volume of K-on online on 75% disco-"

"You read that one?!!" He asked me in surprise. I don't really get why he is so anxious right now when I only just read his manga. What's wrong with that?

Oh?

Maybe he is shy about being an otaku... Hehe, this evil prince has a lot of secrets he is hiding.

Normally in novels that I read, the heroine will learn something embarrassing about the male lead. Then of course she will use this against him because for some reason they have a bad meeting at first and ended up as his slave. Although in our case, Eros is just pure evil. So I will continue explaining. The heroine will use it to blackmail him and of course, the male lead will beg for the heroine to not reveal his secrets. So their tables will turn and the heroine will have control over the bully male lead.

That's how it usually works. However, I AM NOT THE HEROINE!! I AM ONLY AN EXTRA!! So why bother to do something like what I read in novels. It's not like it'll work in us plus I don't want to get involved any further with him.

I am also not good at blackmailing people.

I gave a heavy sigh again and face him."You know I am not interested in your secrets and such. So don't worry about me." I said in a straight face.

His worried look earlier instantly shifts into a relieved one. "We-ll... It's not like that I am embarrassed or what..." This is one of his special traits that I learned...He is such an in denial type of person.

I tap his shoulder."Yeah, yeah...I get it already." Then I mumble. "Why not just take me home right now..."

"Ah- hahaha okay!" He only said while smiling. Did I just saw something unusual now? I rub both of my eyes twice and blink.

I touch his forehead to check if he's having a fever because he is acting not like himself."Are you okay? Is this the end of the world?!"

He shoves away my hand from his forehead."What the hell are you saying stupid?!!" He yells at my face.

I firmly closed my eyes as I felt some of his saliva land on my face. My face grimaces as I wipe it away from my face."Yah!! You're so disgusting!!"

But he's no longer in front of me as soon as I open my eyes.

Geeze, such a rude person. Leaving me all alone in here.

Eros safely drove me home last night. It's really surprising how quiet our ride on our way. Well, yeah that's what always happens but this time is especially quiet. What I mean is that we didn't argue in his car last night. He didn't even bother to provoke me. Lastly, he left without yelling at me.

Hehe, I guess the demon learns to somehow be a human towards me.

I am walking on my way to our department when someone suddenly throws a book at the back of my head.

I haste to turn around but it's sad to only find a devil standing in front of me now. He is wearing a denim jacket with a grey hoodie inside. His hands are tuck inside the pocket of his black jeans and he is wearing black shoes.

This rich prince can afford to collect different sports cars but his outfits are way too basic just like what an average guy would wear each day. Well, it doesn't look bad at him either plus it looks quite more expensive and attractive when he is the one wearing it. He is so fine that he can sell a plain white t-shirt for a thousand euros, and people would still buy it regardless.

He is a gorgeous model material but his attitude is trash.

"What the hell is wrong with you?! Do you have to throw a book at my head as a GREETING, huh?!" I said sarcastically.

He just gives me a smug look and hisses."You left that trash in my room."

My brows furrow then I squat down to grab the book that he threw at me.

Oh? It's only my favorite light novel. I remember I take this out from my bag to read but I got bored and probably forgot to put it back again in my bag.

"Aw hehe, thanks Lu-Eros hehe." He gives me a death glare again because I nearly called him Lucifer again.

But he just ignores and passes by me in a fretful manner.

"Tss... Can't he at least greets me good morning huh?!" I grumble while watching him walk away from me.

"GOOD MORNING!" I flinched when I heard a sudden voice from my back.

The person haste to move in front of me so that I don't have to turn around. Oh? It's just Lev!

He's wearing a black coat and a dark blue hoodie inside. He tied up his long hair which makes it more clear for me to see his gorgeous face. I didn't also notice that he has a piercing on his right ear yesterday because his hair is covering it. He fixes the strap of the bag of his guitar clinging on his left shoulder.

A beaming smile draws across his face."Ah, Good morning too hehe..." I awkwardly replied to his greeting earlier.

"What is that?" He asked, pointing to the book that I am holding.

"A book." I nonchalantly answered him. He just chuckles and shakes his head.

What's funny about what I said? Is it funny that this is a book?

"Hahaha, I know silly." Then why did you ask? "What I mean is that what kind of book is that?" Ah, that's what he means...

"Uhm. A light novel about a girl who is in love with someone with a different status from her." I explained his eyes sparkles in curiosity and asked me more about it.

I narrate the plot of the story to him and he just eagerly listens to me."Wow...I think the story is good. Can I borrow it from you?"

I nod my head and handed it to him."Just bring it back to me, promise? Or I'll kill you." I jokingly said to him and he just laughs at me.

I didn't expect that he is the type of guy who will be interested in a romantic novel.

To be honest his appearance is cold and mysterious but once you get to talk with him, you will know that he is just a nice and warm person.
